What Your Favorite Card Game Says About You

Card games have a unique way of revealing more than just a knack for strategy or luck – they offer a glimpse into your personality. Whether you prefer games that test your wits, encourage social interaction, or simply provide a fun escape, your choice says a lot about how you think, how you play, and how you connect with others. Let's take a look at what your favorite card game might be telling people about who you are! Outplay, outwit, outcheat If you're bold, quick-witted, and love testing the limits – both your own and those of your opponents, Cheat is your go-to card game. You thrive on deception and suspense, knowing exactly when to bluff and when to fold. For the unapologetic jokester, always ready to push boundaries and spark laughter, Cards Against Humanity is the perfect choice. Psychologists would call you a 'high sensation seeker' – you crave novelty, enjoy flirting with social boundaries, and aren't afraid to go off-script. You get a thrill from bending the rules (without actually breaking them!), reading the room, and delivering those zingers that get everyone laughing or gasping. Decks, dice, and drama For fans of games like Warhammer and Magic: The Gathering, the battlefield is as much on the tabletop as in the mind. As a strategic thinker and an immersive creative, you're drawn to intricate worldbuilding, love mastering complex systems, and have a knack for seeing the big picture (as well as the tiniest details). Whether you're building the perfect deck or painting armies for hours, your commitment reveals patience, imagination, and a drive to outwit opponents on every level. Warhammer fans revel in narratives and customization, while Magic players love to invent combos that no one's ever tried before. You're the person who never shies away from lore, backstory, or inventing new scenarios, because half the fun is creating universes within universes. If you like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon TCG, you're definitely part of this club too! Masters of Mayhem If Uno is your favorite card game, odds are you're not afraid of a little chaos. Uno fans value spontaneity and adaptability. They roll with the punches, savoring every turn of fortune, from their own victory to a spectacular comeback by someone else. Quick-thinking and energetic, you love games that keep everyone on their toes and refuse to take setbacks too seriously. Fans of Exploding Kittens fit right into this lively category. You're drawn to absurd humor, and you thrive on unpredictability and embrace the joy of sudden twists. Both Uno and Exploding Kittens players share a zest for dynamic, fast-paced fun where adaptability and a sharp sense of humor are the ultimate winning strategies. The solitude strategist If you're drawn to Solitaire or Patience, you likely appreciate introspection, self-reliance, and the simple satisfaction of conquering a challenge on your own terms. You enjoy quiet moments, finding peace and focus in strategic decision-making and methodical play. Ultimately, every card game is a mirror, reflecting the unique vibe and personality you bring to the table, whether you crave the suspense and chaos or the strategic depths of card games. Adults Share Wild Childhood Misconceptions

As kids, there are many things about the world around us that simply don't make sense. Sometimes we even invent these misconceptions ourselves! And one way or another, most of us eventually realize how silly those beliefs were, even if we we don't realize it until we're adults... So recently, when I wrote a post where people shared the silly childhood beliefs they held into adulthood, I received dozens of responses from the BuzzFeed Community sharing their weirdest, wackiest, and wildest childhood notions and couldn't stop laughing. From pink cows to roaring clouds, here are 21 of their best stories: "I thought a Cheat Sheet was called a 'Cheat Cheat' until I was in my late 30s and I sent my boss and coworkers an email with the subject title and attachment both named 'Program Cheat Cheat.'" "When I heard my boss laugh out loud and say, 'Cheat Cheat,' I realized I had been saying it wrong all these years! "—Anonymous "A much older cousin once told me that if you stopped pooping mid-poop, your butthole would cut the poop in half, and the interior half would shoot directly to your brain, killing you instantly." "I was 15 years old when I discovered that star signs are not based on anything other than when you were born. I am a twin, and my sign is Gemini. My mom was a virgin until marriage, and she was a Virgo. My dad and younger sister are very mean and rude people; they are Scorpios." "When I was a kid, my mom had one rule for swimming: Get out of the water the second your fingers start to wrinkle. Why? Because if you didn't, they'd stay wrinkled FOREVER. Like, Benjamin-Button-meets-Raisinette levels of fear." "So naturally, every time we were in a pool or the sea, my siblings and I would leap out of the water like soggy little gremlins the moment we spotted a single forward 25 years: I was in my early 30s, hanging out at the beach with a friend and my mom. My friend and I went for a quick swim, and when we got out, my mom looked surprised. She asked us, 'Why so soon? You looked like you were having fun.' I, in complete seriousness, said, 'Because of our fingers. You know what happens if they stay wrinkled too long.'My mother absolutely lost it and nearly collapsed from laughter. Through her wheezing, she confessed, 'That was just the only way I could get you out of the water!''—currywurst8 "As a kid, I had straight hair, but I always loved curly hair. One day, my dad told me that since the crust slice of a loaf of bread was curled, if I always ate the crust, I would have curly hair. I believed that for about 10 years. " "I grew up in Florida, so I didn't have much experience with trees that changed color and lost their leaves. I didn't realize that different kinds of trees turn the same color whenever they change. I thought that trees 'chose' a color they liked every year." "As a young adult, I was having oral surgery and high on nitrous oxide. While free associating on the theme of dentistry, I remembered being in the dentist chair when I was, maybe, six or seven years old. The dentist asked me, very seriously, if I wanted a 'Mickey Mouse filling' or a 'Donald Duck filling.' I was adamant that it had to be Mickey — Donald was loud and unpleasant, I didn't want him in my mouth!" "Obligingly, the dentist said to his assistant, 'Would you please mix up a Mickey Mouse filling for this young man?' She did so, and he squeezed it into my tooth. It wasn't until that day, when I was perhaps 25, that I ever thought of it again and realized that there had never been Mickey Mouse fillings! My first, shocked, reaction was, 'He lied to me!' After those two seconds, it was very funny."—Anonymous, 75 Dallas, TX "I thought the clouds made loud roaring sounds when the wind blew between them or if they moved." "I always thought musical groups and bands lived together in the same house. It never crossed my mind they might have spouses or children, and I was fully an adult before that thought crossed my mind." "I thought pheasants were extinct. My grandma told me that the kings of England hunted them and ate them so much that they went extinct. Day one of studying in the UK and I saw a weird and behold, a pheasant. I took a picture of it and sent it to my mom." "The conversation went like this: 'Mom, I found this weird bird on campus. Didn't the kings of England eat them?' She texted back, 'Yes, but that doesn't make them extinct.'"—Anonymous, 25, Guatemala-UK "I thought actors were wearing a super thin layer of plastic on their lips during make-out scenes because I couldn't fathom kissing someone you weren't at least engaged to." "My mom always told me her poop didn't stink. One day, in my late twenties, I walked by her bathroom and noticed a smell. I asked if she had just 'used' the bathroom, and she said, 'Yes?'" "Not me, but my mother-in-law always told my husband that dragonflies would sew a person's eyes shut if they let them get too close. When he first told me, I laughed and said, 'I've never heard of that, and it isn't true. Are they going to sew your hands behind your back first?'" "I think he believed it until we were at the lake early one summer, napping in the sun, when he woke me up to show me about a dozen dragonflies resting on my legs."—Anonymous, 63, Texas "When I was young, my parents told me whipped cream would only come out of the can if you pushed both red dots over the two 'I's' in Reddi Whip at the same time, so they would hold the can upside down so I could press the dots." "I thought chocolate milk came from brown cows. I lost my ever-loving mind the first time my mom gave me strawberry milk and demanded she take me to see the pink cows immediately! I was sad to learn I was wrong." "When I was little, Labyrinth was my favorite movie. Those who've watched the movie will remember how Jareth set a timer for 13 hours. When I watched that, I asked my mom why that clock had a 13 on it, and instead of explaining to me that it was a timer, she told me that clocks in England have 13 hours on them.' "And I just believed that for an embarrassingly long time."—[deleted] "I didn't know about the digestive process, so I thought that the food you ate just sort of filled up your body. I remember looking at myself one day and thinking that I had probably eaten enough food so that I was filled up to my knees, and I should slow down if I wanted to make it to adulthood." "Growing up, my parents drank their coffee black and strong enough to slice. It wasn't until I was in my 30s that I realized I could drink my coffee weak and drowning in cream and sugar. I never liked the taste of coffee, and even now, I think black coffee is vile." "Whenever my family would order pizza during my early childhood years, I thought the delivery person would come into our house and have a slice of pizza with us. I would always invite them in, and I was crushed every time that did not happen." "I used to think those floodlights/spotlights that are used to advertise events like grand openings were like carnival rides, and people could strap into a seat on top of them and touch the clouds. (I was also convinced that clouds tasted like cotton balls!)" "My grandma used to tell me that she had a magic telescope and could see everything I did, and that she would check up on me regularly to see if I behaved." Which one of these beliefs was your favorite? Did you hold any childhood misconceptions into adulthood? Tell us in the comments or answer anonymously using the form below!

It has become my go-to lipstick." Another enthused: "I didn't think this lipstick would suit me but wow once I'd applied it, I absolutely fell in love with it. It is a really natural nude-looking lip colour which suits any makeup look and think it would also suit any skin tone! The packaging is also really sleek and luxurious." A third chimed in with praise, saying: "Love this lipstick," expressing that "It gives a lovely pinky/nude colour to my lips with a satin finish. It feels moisturising in my lips, and the colour lasted for over five hours. As usual, the packaging is very chic and classy." One customer gave the Mini Pillow Talk Lip Kit an average three-star rating, saying it left them looking "washed out". Their review noted: "I bought this lipstick because the original pillow talk is not a cool shade and it doesn't suit me. When I got it, it looked nothing like a cool pink shade. It was a creamier, lighter version of the original and it makes me look very washed out. This has been mentioned by others. Giving it a three, only because it feels nice on the lips." Yet another shopper raved about their new Charlotte Tilbury gem, adding: "The Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lipstick is a very luxurious brand to buy. Firstly this colour is so gorgeous, subtle but vibrant at the same time. What I love the most about this product is the smell the lipstick has. It's got a gorgeous scent and it feels so moisturising on my lips. One of my favourite lipsticks to wear." Wu-Tang Clan's hip-hop legacy gets unleashed during one last victory lap at Crypto.com Arena

When Wu-Tang Clan and Run the Jewels took over the Arena in downtown L.A. on Sunday night, it wasn't just a concert — it was a cultural earthquake. Crammed full of rap royalty, fans were packed together tighter than a '36' Chain" in a charged celebration of hip-hop's powerful lasting impact. The stop was part of the group's Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber farewell tour that began June 6 in Baltimore and concludes July 18 in Philadelphia, comprising 27 shows. The tour features Wu-Tang's surviving members — RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna — along with Ol' Dirty Bastard's son, Young Dirty Bastard, and DJ Mathematics. The night began with an fierce performance from Run the Jewels, who set the tone with their explosive energy and charisma. Killer Mike and El-P, self-described as the new PB&J, commanded the stage effortlessly as they tore through their set list, kicking off with "Legend Has It" and moving into iconic hits like "Gold," "Lie, Cheat, Steal," "Ooh La La" and "Close Your Eyes." The crowd was electric, rapping every word in unison while raising hand pistols and fists in solidarity. The duo's sharp-witted lyrics, relentless rhythm and uncontainable passion ensured that their performance would be etched in memory as one of the highlights of the evening. By 9 p.m., it was officially time for Wu-Tang Clan to 'Bring Da Ruckus,' and it did so with the fiery conviction of a team that defined an era in hip-hop. Arguably one of the most influential groups in music history, Wu delivered a performance that was both nostalgic and invigorating. Each member's unique style and lyrical prowess shone brightly as classics like "C.R.E.A.M.," "Protect Ya Neck," 'Method Man,' 'Can It Be All So Simple' and Triumph' reverberated through the arena, igniting waves of energy throughout the audience. The powerful bass lines and raw, unfiltered sound reminded everyone why Wu-Tang Clan remains one of the most significant outfits in hip-hop. Every hit Wu performed was like a time machine, taking the crowd on a ride through decades of influence, innovation and street-born poetry. The chamber members didn't just perform, they took victory laps in front of a crowd that knew every word. You could feel the respect and weight of history in every moment. Adding a poignant touch to the evening, YDB took the stage to honor his late father, Ol' Dirty Bastard, with renditions of his hits "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" and "Got Your Money." The crowd rapped along passionately, creating a collective moment of tribute. The show also featured an unexpected twist, with multiple interludes promoting RZA's latest action thriller, "One Spoon of Chocolate," as well as the "Purple Tape Files" doc produced by him and Raekwon, blending entertainment with strategic promotion. Smart? Probably — even if it did seem oddly shoehorned in the middle of the show. Sunday at was much more than a gathering of two legendary crews sharing a stage. It was a historic celebration that lighted up Los Angeles with the full force of hip-hop excellence. From the thundering beats to the infectious energy of the crowd, every moment served as an in-your-face reminder that music shapes, inspires, and unites. And the performances? Those were a living testament to hip-hop's enduring role in culture, and the audience left buzzing with the echoes of greatness that had filled every corner of the arena — Wu-Tang forever.
