Pick your Bournemouth player of the season
We asked our Bournemouth fan contributor for their four candidates for player of the season and you can now select your top one. Ryan Christie Christie is the man who makes Bournemouth tick - the unsung hero of the side, if you will. As the key cog in the Cherries' aggressive press, it has been evident when Ryan has been out of the side. A machine for Andoni Iraola's men. Justin Kluivert The void left by Dom Solanke's departure meant Bournemouth needed someone to step up with goals, and Justin has done just that. The current leading scorer, Kluivert has taken his game to another level at times, which has included two hat-tricks as well! Lewis Cook Lewis is definitely Bournemouth's 'Mr Consistent' and has rightly worn the captain's armband on many occasions. The composed playmaker has had to adapt to a right full-back position for a large part of the season, and he has unsurprisingly impressed in the role. Tyler Adams The Cherries' defensive numbers have improved this campaign and Adams is one of the key reasons for this. A fit-and-firing Tyler is the glue in the middle of the park, who must be a nuisance to play against. He relishes those midfield battles and suffocating his opponents. Honourable mentions Frankly, this could frankly be the rest of the squad as it has been an impressive team effort this season. Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi have been rocks, Milos Kerkez has been one of the league's top left-backs, Antoine Semenyo has been electrifying, Kepa Arrizabalaga has been an upgrade in goal, and Evanilson's first season has also been excellent. Are Bournemouth now a 'relative powerhouse in world football'?
Bournemouth feel like they are a club that are going places, and the end of last week felt very significant for a number of owner Bill Foley came over to open a brand new Performance Centre, which is the new home for the Cherries' first, academy, and women's teams - a beautiful complex which provides a tangible legacy from what we hope will be a long-lasting Premier League only that, but he also announced the repurchase of Vitality Stadium, a facility which we have been renting for the last 20 years, since we had to sell it due to financial problems in alone symbolises the incredible journey that the football club has been on, and with plans to expand to 20,000 and possibly higher in the next few years, fans finally feel like things are moving in a positive direction off the pitch, as well as on of the purchase was relayed to supporters before the last Premier League game against Manchester United, and it was an emotional moment to hear the outpouring of joy at how this once bucket-rattling club has overcome its problems to somehow become a relative powerhouse in world 10th in the league, and with European football a distinct possibility, entering into a match against the Red Devils on Sunday as favourites was something not many Cherries fans would have ever for us, Andoni Iraola's men dropped points in a match which was riddled with controversy, therefore many home supporters left the stadium feeling disappointed. However, in hindsight, to be sitting as a top-half side, with a stadium back under our ownership, and the chance of Conference League football still not out of the realms of possibility, we have to be optimistic for the more from Sam Davis at Back of the Net, external

Bournemouth 1-0 Fulham: Cottagers can't make 'six pointer' count
You could say this game fell into the 'six-pointer' category.A victory would have seen Fulham pull six points clear of Bournemouth, boosting their chances of European football next season and denting the Cherries' the Cottagers couldn't make it count.A slow and sloppy start that saw Antoine Semenyo fire home a 53-second opener ultimately proved too much for Fulham, who drop down to ninth in the Silva will need to get his side back on track and fighting for Europe with just six games of the season place is likely to be enough for a Europa Conference League qualification spot, but after tonight's result, Bournemouth will have a bounce in their step as they look to keep Fulham at bay.

'Run-in could be Scott's moment to thrive'
Bournemouth have a whole host of young stars shining bright on the highest stage this Illia Zabarnyi plays well above his years, Milos Kerkez is one of the most exciting left-backs in the league and Dean Huijsen's reported £50m release clause feels remarkably cheap! But now, maybe it is time for another of the Cherries' "wonderkids" to go and grab the Alex Scott, Bournemouth signed one of the Championship's most elite already established himself with England's under-21s, Scott was very highly thought of when he made the move to the south coast from Bristol for him, a number of injury issues have hampered his progress with the Cherries, but given that he is fully fit for the run-in, it could well be his moment to a central midfielder who is equally happy to drop off and play from a deeper position, Scott's skillset is high, as he is adept at driving at his opponents from a more offensive role. But in an impressive campaign for Andoni Iraola's side, Scott has found himself on the fringes of the squad Cook and Tyler Adams have been consistently superb and Ryan Christie has been instrumental all season long. However, with Christie out with a groin issue, this could well end his season prematurely, so this certainly feels like it could be Alex's moment to show the Premier League just how good he is no doubting Scott's quality, he has shown what a joy to watch he can be, but keeping fit and nailing a role in Iraola's system is now big games for Bournemouth, seven big games for Alex more from Tom Jordan at Back of the Net, external
