It is not the first time Cherry, 33, has appeared in her husband's music videos, with three other cameos under her belt. The pair, who met at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham as children, sweetly have matching colourful pencil cases in the video, which were popular in the 2000's. Cherry also landed a role in Sheeran's music video for his single, Put It All On Me. He already has an impressive property portfolio worth a staggering £70million. And in his latest move to expand his ever-growing investments, Daily Mail can reveal Ed Sheeran has snapped up a sprawling £9million pad in New York. The singer, 34, has purchased his dream pad in the heart of Brooklyn, which neighbours his pal Kendrick Lamar. Ed - who is estimated a whopping £300million - and his wife Cherry Seaborn set up a company to handle the purchase of the NYC home. The couple, who have been married since 2019, share daughters Lyra, four, and Jupiter, two, and grew up together in the same town in Suffolk. Setting up the company has given Ed and Cherry tax advantages should they come to flog the splendid waterfront property. Documents filed in New York show that no mortgage or loan is attached to the sale. The pair were already renting another pad in the same complex for a whopping £25,000 per month before deciding to buy their new place outright. The Grammy-winning star purchased the roughly 3,400-square-foot place in an off-market deal. The large complex offers luxury amenities including two fitness centres, a garage with EV charging stations and 24-hour attended lobbies. Ed already owns at least 27 properties in London including a large £20million house in Notting Hill and houses in other sought-after areas including Holland Park and Covent Garden. Five assets in the capital have been incorporated into Sheeran's vast 'Edopoly' property empire. His old rental - which sits in the same complex building - included a foyer and the kitchen alongside two sets of stairs inside Sheeran's Brooklyn apartment He has two properties in Covent Garden, and a pair of flats by the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. These four homes alone are thought to be among his most expensive, with conservative estimates putting them at a total value of £9million. Ed Sheeran Shares The Parenting Advice He'd Give To First-Time Dads
Ed Sheeran has two young girls, and he's got some advice for anyone about to be a first-time dad. 'I just think always be the one that makes the breakfast in the morning. Always be the one that gets up first and lets your partner have her lie-in and do the breakfast,' he said on last week's episode of Kylie Kelce's hit podcast, 'Not Gonna Lie.' 'Because also, that's the time of the day your kids are, uh, the least angry, because they're rested and they wake up and it's fun,' he said. 'Your partner gets to have a lie-in, but also then you get the golden moments in the morning when your kids are like, calm and happy.' Kelce chimed in and agreed with Sheeran's assessment. 'I say it all the time. They're their best selves in the morning,' the mom of four added. 'They're like sweet and cuddly, and their voices are like gentle.' 'They want to help out as well!' Sheeran said. 'So I'm handing them plates, and they're putting the plates away, and I'm like, you're making my job easier. And also, we're spending time together.' The singer continued, 'So yeah, I'd say always do the morning shift. I actually love the morning shift and the evening shift. Reading 40 different stories and having someone like, fall asleep on your shoulder is actually really lovely.' Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, have two girls: Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, 4, and Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran, who is 3. The 'Perfect' musician has spoken about the ways that parenthood has changed him, calling fatherhood 'the best thing that's ever happened to me.' 'There's so many different sides and shades to it,' the songwriter shared during SiriusXM Hits 1 interview in 2021. 'You know, there's difficult days, there's amazing, easy days.' He added, 'It's just a roller coaster of emotions. I know that sounds like a cliché thing to say, but it's amazing. I love it.'
