His black and white beard was grown out along with his dark mustache. On his outing, he chose to wear a pair of black sunglasses, a black T-shirt and blue sweatpants. Born in Portland, Maine, as the youngest of three children, Barnes started working from as a child model before pursuing acting at age 8. From there, he would appear in guest roles in successful shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, The Golden Girls and Malcolm & Eddie. But it wasn't live action where his career took off – it was through using his voice in animation. Barnes had already begun dipping his toes into voice acting before finding fame as the oldest of the Brady Bunch, landing one of the most coveted roles in animation at just 16 voicing Prince Eric in Disney's The Little Mermaid (1989) – the classic that took home Oscars for best original score and song.
