Traffic disruption on Whoop-Up Drive bridge Wednesday
A lane on the Whoop-Up Drive bridge is closed Wednesday to allow for guard rail repair and replacing lights. Traffic will be disrupted on the Whoop-Up Drive bridge Wednesday due to a lane closure. The City of Lethbridge posted on social media that crews are performing guard rail maintenance and replacing lights throughout the day Wednesday, requiring the closure of the outer eastbound lane of the bridge. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day Wednesday, weather permitting. Motorists are encouraged to drive safely and follow instructions on posted signs to help keep crews safe.
