Check out this film of new Broncos UDFA OL Clay Webb As the Denver Broncos finish rounding out their 90-man roster prior to training camp, the team is looking to create depth to an offensive line that was one of the best in the NFL in 2024. One of the pieces the Broncos have invested in is offensive lineman Clay Webb. Webb (6-3, 310 pounds) comes to the Broncos as one of the best Conference USA offensive line prospects in the 2025 NFL draft class as a member of the Jackson State University Gamecocks. Webb started his collegiate career at Georgia, from 2019-21. Webb later transferred to Jackson State prior to the 2022 season, where he played in 36 games over three years, starting 32 of them. In 2023, Webb earned second-team Associated Press All-American and second-team All-Conference USA honors. In 2024, Webb was upgraded to first-team All-Conference USA honors after starting all 14 games during the season. Prior to being signed as an undrafted free agent, Webb was named the No. 2 undrafted offensive lineman by Chad Reuter. Webb's signing had been the source of some controversy, as he was followed by an alleged bullying incident and ensuing lawsuit from high school. Earlier this month, it was announced that the lawsuit against Webb was dismissed in April, before the NFL draft. Check out some of Webb's Jackson State highlights below. Webb was No. 74 in college. Lawsuit against Broncos' UDFA signee Clay Webb dismissed

When the Denver Broncos agreed to terms with undrafted free agent Clay Webb last month, it appeared that he was joining the club despite an unresolved lawsuit from 2020. Webb was accused of grotesque bullying, with the lawsuit's plaintiff saying they drank from a Powerade bottle that contained Webb's semen in 2018 when he was in high school. The Athletic reported last month that the lawsuit was still unresolved, but it appears that was misreported. Advertisement Mike Klis of 9News reported Thursday that a Circuit Court Judge in Alabama dismissed all the claims against Webb on April 2. The lineman's agent then sent a letter to the NFL's 32 teams informing them that the lawsuit had been dismissed. From the Klis story: According to documents obtained by 9NEWS, Circuit Judge Timothy C. Burgess ruled the actions in this case a) did not sufficiently satisfy the elements of outrage, b) there was no evidence of intent by Webb to harm the plaintiff, c) there was no physical injury to the plaintiff and d) because the plaintiff's alleged damages were caused by a third party who stole the bottle from Webb's locker and transported it to a separate locker room, judgment was granted in Webb's favor on the negligence claim. had Webb projected as a fifth- or sixth-round pick leading up to the draft, but he went undrafted despite the claims being dismissed. He now gets a chance to play in the NFL with the Broncos. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans. Broncos UDFA signee faces lawsuit alleging insane bullying in high school

Broncos UDFA signee faces lawsuit alleging insane bullying in high school After playing high school football in Oxford, Alabama, offensive lineman Clay Webb spent six seasons at the college level with Georgia (three years) and Jacksonville State (three years) before entering the 2025 NFL draft. Webb (6-3, 312 pounds) is an interior offensive lineman who has spent time at guard and center. Lance Zierlein had Webb projected as a fifth- or sixth-round prospect, but the 25-year-old lineman was not picked over the weekend. He has since agreed to sign with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. An ongoing federal lawsuit might explain why Webb went unselected in the draft. In 2020, a minor filed a lawsuit through his father against Webb and others for an alleged incident that happened in 2018 when Webb was a high school football player. Note that the following details describe an extreme level of grotesque (alleged) bullying. The lawsuit "alleges fellow students allowed [the plaintiff] and encouraged him to unknowingly drink from a Powerade bottle that allegedly contained Clay Webb's semen," according to Lily Jackson of The lawsuit is still ongoing as of April 2025, according to The Athletic. Webb told The Athletic in a January 2025 interview that his lawyers have advised him not to comment on the alleged incident. The Broncos do deep checks on all NFL draft prospects, so they were undoubtedly aware of the lawsuit when they agreed to sign Webb this weekend. Neither Webb nor the Broncos have commented on the lawsuit (his signing is not yet official), but Georgia released the following statement after the lawsuit was filed in 2020: "While we cannot comment on this individual student matter, we review allegations of misconduct by our student-athletes and hold accountable those that do not meet our expectations.' Webb spent one more year with the Bulldogs after that before transferring to the JSU Gamecocks. He is now set to continue his football career in the NFL.
