Boosie Badazz concert shooting in Ohio leaves three injured, police investigating
Boosie Badazz's concert in Akron, Ohio, took a tragic turn when gunshots rang out during his live performance, leaving three people injured. The shooting occurred on Monday, March 10, at the Field House Lounge, where Boosie was performing as part of the Millennium Tour 2025. According to Cleveland 19, the shooting occurred at approximately 2 a.m. during Boosie's set, and the incident was captured on video by concertgoers. The video quickly spread online, showing the chaotic aftermath as fans fled the scene. Police responded to the scene and found two of the victims—an 18-year-old man and a 36-year-old man—at the venue. A third victim, a 25-year-old man, later sought treatment at a hospital for a 'graze-gunshot' wound. While his injury was less severe, the two other victims are in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not been released. Cleveland 19 reports that the shooting occurred after a fight broke out among individuals at the concert. Police have not yet identified a suspect, and no arrests have been made. Boosie Badazz has not publicly commented on the incident at this time. This is not the first time Boosie has been involved in gun violence at one of his shows. In August 2024, two men were fatally shot during a Boosie performance in Pacific Junction, Iowa. In the aftermath, Boosie distanced himself from the incident, stating, 'I don't know. Some sh*t happened at the front but we're going to take it to Crush Ultra Lounge. Party don't stop.' The rapper has also been linked to a shooting incident in 2006, when five people were shot at a concert he performed with Plies. Boosie clarified in a recent interview with Vlad TV that the rumors of a feud with Plies being the cause of the shooting were false. 'Everybody thought that sht happened with me and Plies, but it didn't,' Boosie asserted. 'They held that sht that Boosie and Plies were beefing all the way until I went to prison. They put Boosie and Plies against each other. I had nothing to do with it.' The investigation into the Akron shooting is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
