'We keep ourselves to ourselves': Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman don't hang out with famous Cotswolds neighbours Posh and Becks
Lauren Silverman, wife of Simon Cowell, has claimed the cohort of celebrities living in the Cotswolds typically keep themselves to themselves. The music mogul and his other half - who bought an £8 million farmhouse in Oxfordshire in 2021 - might be neighbours with the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, but Lauren insists they don't all hang around together. Speaking to Closer UK magazine, Lauren - who has 11-year-old son Eric with Simon - said when asked about living near the power couple: "They are our neighbours!" She insisted: "We keep ourselves to ourselves. "We're just ... it's not like a full compound of [celebs] there." Bruno Tonioli, who serves as a judge on Simon's talent show 'Britain's Got Talent' and spends time with the family at their country abode, added in the joint interview: "There's a little group that get together. "It's good to keep what you do in your private life very separate. "Nobody knows what's going on and I like it that way." Lauren noted: "Bruno is like family to us. He is." She noted that their son calls him "Uncle Bruno". Other celebrities who have made the Cotswolds their home include Jeremy Clarkson and his wife Lisa, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, and Hugh Grant.

Alison Hammond's fitness regime keeps two health issues at bay after 13.5st weight loss
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Alison Hammond has explained how she has gone about losing so much weight in recent years, while battling issues including osteoporosis and mental health at the same time. The 50-year-old national treasure has said that she uses a personal trainer and eats in moderation as she receives praise for dropping down from being nearly 30st (190kg) to 16.5st (104kg) in a matter of months. On her weight loss journey, the This Morning presenter told Closer UK: 'I've lost a lot of weight. I can remember being nearly 30st, and now I'm in the 17-16.5st range. 'I've got a personal trainer – she's amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk. 'But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week. I don't deny myself anything. I eat everything, but in moderation.' On her battle with obesity, Alison, who had a gastric band between 2007 and 2010, admitted: 'I've had obesity my whole life. And what it is, is your regulation system is out of whack. And I think what a lot of people don't realise is obesity is a disease. 'If anyone is struggling, go and speak to a doctor or someone who knows about diet…I've struggled all my life. And I still struggle.' Alison has also talked about using exercise to reduce her risk of developing osteoporosis and to improve her mental health. According to the NHS website, osteoporosis is a health condition that weakens bones, making them fragile and more likely to break. On how she goes about reducing the risk as she gets older, the star, who is a mum-of-one to her 20-year-old son Aidan, told the Times: "If I'm not filming, the first thing I do — usually several hours before Aidan wakes up — is go to the gym, where I'll do some heavy lifting. "I've been doing weights for ten years now and I can deadlift 65kg. It's good for my mental health and to prevent osteoporosis. You've got to keep on top of things." In the past, Alison has said that as well as fighting obesity, she has been driven by the fact she recently discovered she was pre-diabetic. She told Good Housekeeping: 'Mum said to me: 'If you can, sort out your weight, Alison,' and that really set it in my head. 'My mum had type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening.' (Image: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock) Alison, who is currently fronting a new BBC show where she spends 48 hours with different celebrities, has since revealed that she is no longer pre-diabetic, a feat achieved through a personal trainer and cutting out fatty foods and sweets. This isn't the first time Alison has spoken about her health in recent weeks. Earlier this month, she revealed that she had to pull out of presenting This Morning due to severe hay fever. In a video message on Instagram, Alison said: "I've had the worst hay fever for the last, I'd say two to three days. 'I don't know what's hit me, but it has hit me like a bus. I'm just letting you know that I'm not going to be making This Morning today. I've got loads of drugs, I've got all the hay fever stuff!' Alison Hammond's Big Weekend co-starring Jimmy Carr airs tonight at 8.30pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

Gordon Ramsay admits major gaffe as daughter Tilly announces huge life decision
Gordon Ramsay has said he is now the 'proudest dad' after his daughter Tilly announced she is following in his culinary footsteps by training to be a chef Gordon Ramsay has expressed his concerns about possibly making a significant blunder after his daughter Tilly decided to follow in his footsteps. The renowned chef, who boasts eight Michelin stars, revealed that 23 year old Tilly has embarked on her journey to become a chef by enrolling in culinary school, a decision she made independently. Despite his vast experience and success in the industry, Gordon admitted to Closer UK that he was troubled by the thought that he might have erred by not offering his expertise to his daughter. He said: "My family is like an army now – but, thankfully, Tilly is the fist one who's interested in cooking. She paid for herself – worked, saved the money, and has gone off to culinary school." Reflecting on the moment he saw her off, he shared: "I said goodbye and put heron the ferry and I thought: 'F***, why didn't she ask me to teach her? Is that my first major f*** up?' I can't wait to ask that question – but it just goes to show how unspoilt my kids are." Gordon takes pride in the independence of his children, stating: "They're individually following their own path and aren't dependent on their parents. I think that's a good call," reports Cornwall Live. The celebrity chef, who owns a stunning £4.4million home in Rock, Cornwall, is a father to six children: Megan, 26, twins Jack and Holly, 25, Tilly, 23, Oscar, six, and one year old Jesse. Speaking of his other offspring, he mentioned Jack's successful entry into the Royal Marine Commandos. Reflecting on his own childhood, Gordon, who was born in the town of Johnstone, described himself as: "I was energetic, boisterous, and competitive – but not really a handful. I was grateful." Amid rumours of expanding his brood, Gordon Ramsay has faced personal trials in the past. His wife Tana Ramsay, 50, endured the heartbreak of a miscarriage during her pregnancy with a boy they planned to name Rocky. Tana opened up about the experience on Loose Women, noting the invaluable support from her husband: "It's such a personal decision when you have a baby and this was 20 years ago." She shared insights into their family life: "The way that I felt, the way Gordon felt, it was something we decided on together. He wasn't with me when I gave birth to Meg or the twins or Tilly. "But now we're older and it's quite interesting because I lost a baby in 2016 and Gordon was with me throughout that entire process and there's no way I could have done it without him right there by my side." Besides his celebrated restaurant empire, Gordon Ramsay also runs a YouTube channel, dishing out culinary wisdom. One of his cooking barometers is simple but telling: "If they can make the perfect scrambled egg, you know they know how to cook properly."

Amanda, 54, is hosting a new dating show called 'Cheat: Unfinished Business' that follows a series of couples as they try to mend things in the sunshine. Co-hosting alongside relationship expert Paul C Brunson, Amanda spent last summer filming the series. Speaking about the experience as she promoted the show, she admitted that she had listened to what Paul had been saying to other couples, took notes, and applied those to her relationship. Discussing the show and Paul's input with Closer UK she said: 'He gives out amazing advice that I literally made notes on throughout filming. I was really nice to my husband Chris across the summer when we were making the show!' Article continues below Amanda's positive comments about her relationship come weeks after she admitted she and husband Chris, whom she has been with since 2004, were leading 'separate lives'. Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes (Image: INSTAGRAM/AMANDAHOLDEN ) However, this isn't anything to do with any relationship difficulties, but more to do with the fact that their busy schedules means they rarely see each other. She told Heart FM: "I've been married for over 20 years. Well, I met him in 2003, I can't work it out. 'Anyway, a long time, and our lives have been very separate for a long time because we're both very busy. Obviously, we're very happily married, but we do lots of things separately. 'I love my Peloton and running, he goes and plays squash. He's got a massive career as well. We're always separate, you know.' Meanwhile, an insider told Closer that Amanda and Chris are working out how they can stay close despite the busy nature of their lives, reports BirminghamLive. Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes They told the publication: "Amanda realises that something's got to give but it's not quite that simple. "She knows she needs to prioritise her husband – who knows how she would cope without him. They've talked about trying a getaway to spend real down time together – alone. The kids are old enough to hold the fort. 'Amanda knows she needs to consider this. Until now it's always been as a family so going on holiday alone would be alien to her. But it's a great place to start, even if it's a long weekend.' Meanwhile, Amanda has joked what her biggest ick (slang for off-putting feature or habit) is about her husband is. She told Heart FM: 'My ick with Chris, although that does sound quite dramatic, is when Chris is dressed casually. Article continues below "My husband looks really nice when he goes out but his relaxed look, the thing I would burn without any hesitation, but I think it would pollute the air, is that he owns yellow Crocs.' Amanda Holden is set to appear on Cheat on Netflix later this year.
