Auburn is in the top five for Kavon Conciauro ahead of this week's commitment date
The three-star WR from Georgia will choose between Auburn, Georgia, and others this Friday.
Auburn football has the chance to enhance its 2026 recruiting efforts this week as it remains a giant contender to land a three-star wide receiver from Georgia.
Kavon Conciauro, a three-star wide receiver from Warner Robins, Georgia, will announce his commitment on Friday, July 11, and Auburn is named a finalist. The Tigers are competing with Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Duke for his pledge.
Conciauro took his official visit to Auburn during the weekend of June 6, a few months after visiting the Plains during the spring practice session. In an interview with Auburn Undercover, Conciauro spoke on the relationship he has developed with wide receivers coach Marcus Davis. Davis is making Conciauro a priority despite entering his recruitment later than most programs, and Conciauro feels that he can "relate" to Davis. Davis' ability to develop and coach his players stands out to the talented wide receiver the most.
"Seeing guys make plays, seeing (Davis) coach up guys who make mistakes, and then guys execute off the coaching points he makes was great," Conciauro said. "It shows that the guys bought in, and he bought into the guys as well."
As has been the case for many recruits lately, Auburn is not considered the frontrunner to land Conciauro, and will look to make a strong push this week leading up to his commitment date. Mississippi State is seen as the favorite heading into the week with a 58.2% forecast. Conciauro is the No. 59 player from Georgia for the 2026 cycle, and is the No. 93 wide receiver according to On3.
