Dana White shares news of the Paramount and UFC deal in August 2025
Dana White went public with the announcement during an interview in South Florida while he was preparing for the Contender Series 319. On the same day, he posted on social media saying,
"Breaking News, UFC has a new home in 2026 only on Paramount+."
He added that this new agreement covers not just UFC, but also Power Slap, making both part of the new plan with Paramount and CBS.
The deal will begin in 2026, after UFC finishes its contract with ESPN at the end of 2025. The full deal is worth
$7.7billion
and will last for seven years. All UFC fans in the United States will be able to watch fights using a basic Paramount+ subscription, and some of the biggest fights will also be shown on CBS. This is a big change because it will get rid of pay-per-view for most UFC fights, making everything easier and cheaper for fans.
Dana White said,
"This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes. For the first time ever, fans in the U.S. will have access to all UFC content without a Pay-Per-View model, making it more affordable and accessible on a massive platform. This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world. The exposure offered by Paramount and CBS under this structure is a huge win for anyone who loves the sport.
