Coronation Street character left to die alone as Lisa makes an arrest

A life-threatening situation unfolds in upcoming Coronation Street episodes after police officer Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) arrests Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey). Since Brody was released from the secure training centre he's caused a fair amount of trouble in the Street. Almost the first thing he did was to start nicking stuff from the corner shop. His arrogant attitude and apparent determination to follow in the footsteps of the man he considers to be his father, Mick (Joe Layton), has meant he hasn't exactly made a great impression on the local residents. Especially in the aftermath of Mick killing beloved police officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), sympathy for the Michaelis family is in short supply. The situation is complicated for DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), of course, as he believes he could be Brody's biological dad. Recently we saw Kit stopping Brody from stealing wine from a delivery van. Although he just sent Brody on his way, Brody tried to stir up trouble by telling Lisa that Kit was harassing him. Not long after this, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove), Kit and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) came across Brody lying injured in an alley with a broken bottle of whisky by his side. He then had a seizure and wet himself. Kit took him to hospital, where Brody told him that he suffers from epilepsy and often wets himself during a seizure. Kit promised to keep this information to himself. More Trending But in a soon-to-be-aired episode, a dangerous situation develops for Brody. He's been trying to wind Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) – his former teacher at the STC – up, and spills a drink over something he's working on. Lisa is nearby and when she sees what's going on she tells Brody she's arresting him for harassment. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? At the police station Brody is ordered to empty his pockets. There's a bottle of white pills – his epilepsy medication – but Brody is giving it attitude and refuses to say what the pills are. He's put in a cell, but shouts out to Lisa that he needs the pills. Lisa ignores him, thinking it's just another ploy to wind her up. Sadly it isn't – and when Brody's alone in his cell he has another seizure. View More » What will Kit's reaction be when he finds out that Lisa left Brody in a potentially deadly situation? Coronation Street airs deeply moving Roy and Hayley scene in early ITVX release

This article contains spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. Roy Cropper (David Neilson) paid tribute to wife Hayley Cropper in a deeply moving scene in Coronation Street tonight, and our hearts can't take it. Roy and Hayley were the very definition of soulmates, and were married for 15 years before Hayley sadly died in 2014. After a battle with pancreatic cancer, Hayley decided to take control and end her life, with Roy's support. In tonight's episode, Roy reflected on how it would have been Hayley's birthday, as he and vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) discussed Julie Carp's (Katy Cavanagh) recent passing. Later, he explained to Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) how every year on Hayley's birthday he lights a candle on a cake to remember her. Once Dee-Dee was gone, Roy wished Hayley a happy birthday before blowing out the candle. He was further reminded of Hayley's passing later in the episode, when Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) confessed to reporting Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) to the police for helping Julie take her own life, despite the fact that this wasn't true. More Trending However, Brian stood firm in his belief that Eileen was to blame for him losing the love of his life, though Roy tried in vain to convince him otherwise, having previously been in a similar position. Roy explained how agonising it can be to see the person you love terrified and in pain, and that if Eileen had helped Julie to end her life then she deserved pity instead of retribution. Though he didn't admit that he had been in the same position with Hayley, Roy insisted that having to take the life of a loved one, even though they begged for it, would be an enormous burden to carry. Roy gets moving request after horrific truth about vile villain in Corrie

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) has taken on the role of father figure to countless Coronation Street icons over the years, and tonight's episode saw him take another character under his wing. Following in the footsteps of Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine), Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) and Carla Connor (Alison King), Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) sought guidance from the kindly cafe owner, making an emotional request at the same time. Since Lauren's biological father Reece (Scott Anson) was imprisoned, Roy has been on hand to try and help the troubled teen turn her life around. Things went horrifically wrong after Roy was forced to sack her from her job at the cafe, with Lauren going missing for several months and Roy being arrested for her murder. When she eventually showed up alive, Roy was released and Joel Deering exposed as her attacker. Fortunately, there has been no bad blood between Roy and Lauren, with the cafe owner regularly looking out for her and son Frankie. In tonight's episode, Lauren learnt that Frankie's condition was improving following his transplant. However, she got quite a shock when he received a present from Reece. Wanting to draw a line under her relationship with him, Lauren visited Reece in prison, where she revealed that being Frankie's mum had shown her just what she'd missed out on as a child. As Lauren heartbreakingly confronted her dad about 'pimping her out' to his mates when she was just 11-years-old, Reece cruelly denied any wrongdoing. To further twist the knife, he told Lauren that he may not even be her biological father. After making it clear to Reece that this would be their last correspondence, Lauren headed to the cafe to speak to Roy. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? She confided in him about the conversation with her dad, and he was on hand to offer some steady advice, as always.
