Coronation Street character left to die alone as Lisa makes an arrest

Coronation Street character left to die alone as Lisa makes an arrest

Metro4 hours ago

A life-threatening situation unfolds in upcoming Coronation Street episodes after police officer Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) arrests Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey).
Since Brody was released from the secure training centre he's caused a fair amount of trouble in the Street. Almost the first thing he did was to start nicking stuff from the corner shop.
His arrogant attitude and apparent determination to follow in the footsteps of the man he considers to be his father, Mick (Joe Layton), has meant he hasn't exactly made a great impression on the local residents.
Especially in the aftermath of Mick killing beloved police officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), sympathy for the Michaelis family is in short supply.
The situation is complicated for DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), of course, as he believes he could be Brody's biological dad.
Recently we saw Kit stopping Brody from stealing wine from a delivery van. Although he just sent Brody on his way, Brody tried to stir up trouble by telling Lisa that Kit was harassing him.
Not long after this, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove), Kit and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) came across Brody lying injured in an alley with a broken bottle of whisky by his side. He then had a seizure and wet himself.
Kit took him to hospital, where Brody told him that he suffers from epilepsy and often wets himself during a seizure. Kit promised to keep this information to himself. More Trending
But in a soon-to-be-aired episode, a dangerous situation develops for Brody. He's been trying to wind Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) – his former teacher at the STC – up, and spills a drink over something he's working on. Lisa is nearby and when she sees what's going on she tells Brody she's arresting him for harassment.

At the police station Brody is ordered to empty his pockets. There's a bottle of white pills – his epilepsy medication – but Brody is giving it attitude and refuses to say what the pills are.
He's put in a cell, but shouts out to Lisa that he needs the pills. Lisa ignores him, thinking it's just another ploy to wind her up. Sadly it isn't – and when Brody's alone in his cell he has another seizure.

Emmerdale icon unexpectedly explodes with fury, threatens local and goes missing

There are some weird dynamics going on in Emmerdale's Tenants cottage now that Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) has moved out, and they were already weird before. With Liam out of the way, it's just Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), and third wheel Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), an odd dynamic for a couple in the early years of their marriage, and as frisky as these two. When Liam first left, Bear knew it was too weird and immediately assumed Paddy and Mandy wanted him gone. Instead, they made it clear they're a family unit and gave him the biggest bedroom. But the former wrestler is still restless. To keep him occupied and to cheer him up, Mandy and Bear give him a motorbike to fix up, but it backfires when he starts leaving the parts all over the house and irks them all over again. It's a difficult time. A compromise is needed and Cain (Jeff Hordley) agrees to let Bear fix his bike at the shop and the old man is more than chuffed to have a proper space to work in. But later, his mood swings and Bear loses is at the bike, then again later takes his anger out on Kammy (Shebz Miah) when his frustrations at the bike become too much. More Trending Paddy is gutted to see his dad so riled up and for no clear reason. But gutted turns to shock when Bear strolls back in at home like nothing has happened. They quiz him, which peeves him again and he storms upstairs, leaving Paddy and Mandy to wonder what on Earth is going on. A sudden personality shift suggests a worrying health issue might be afoot. Heartbreaking Corrie scenes as Debbie confirms dementia diagnosis to loved ones

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) has been keeping a huge secret from (most of) her family recently in Coronation Street, after she was diagnosed with dementia. Proud, independent Debbie felt like she didn't want to burden her brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) with the news, as he's already going through a tough time with cancer treatment. As for her relationship with Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), Debbie opted to dump him rather than tell him the truth. Debbie's split with Ronnie hasn't been easy for either of them, as they both love each other and had previously decided to get married. Ronnie has been left hurt and confused, while Debbie thinks he's already moved on as she's spotted him a few times in the company of Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). So far the only person who knows about Debbie's diagnosis is her other brother, Carl (Jonathan Howard) – and he only found out by accident and has been sworn to secrecy by Debbie. But all that is about to change in an episode airing soon, where Debbie takes a sudden turn for the worse and is forced to open up to her family about what's really going on. Debbie and Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) go to the Chariot Square bar for a few drinks to cheer Debbie up after she admits to Bernie that she's finding it hard to be in the same room as Ronnie. Also in the bar is Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), and when he causes a fuss by failing to produce ID when asked, Debbie loses it with him. We've seen Debbie becoming irrationally angry before and it's a symptom of her condition, and this time she really loses control and smashes Brody's glass on the bar. The next day Bernie is worried about Debbie because of her behaviour at the bar but also because she forgets to pay at the cafe. She's under pressure because there's been a flood at the hotel and she's facing having to cancel an awards ceremony, but Leanne offers to host the event at Speed Daal. Debbie's grateful for that, but once again she sees Ronnie and Leanne together joking about something, and it bothers her. More Trending Then Debbie suddenly collapses. She wakes up to find Kevin and Abi (Sally Carman) by her side and they tell her she has to go to hospital. Debbie tells them there's no need for that. She knows what's wrong with her, she says – and tells them she has dementia. View More » How will they react to the bombshell news? He speaks for the viewers too as he tells Aaron that mysterious John is not the man for him. Aaron is in turmoil over the chat, but remains adamant he made the right decision by marrying John. It's not long before controlling John finds out where his husband has been though and he heads to the prison himself. Soon tense scenes see feuds boiling over as Robert exposes his recent kiss with Aaron. With that, a rivalry explodes with John prepared to get answers but also issuing his sibling with a sinister warning, making it clear he doesn't know what he's capable of. But killer John may have met his match as Robert knows he's hiding something and is determined to find out what it is. Robert vows to return to the village, and soon he shows up leaving Aaron and John furious - but where will this lead? As Cain agrees to let him fix his motorbike there he feigns joy, but when alone he erupts into a fury at the bike with it clear something isn't right. Bear snaps and even threatens Kammy, leaving Paddy concerned and in despair. He's dumbfounded though, as is Mandy, when Bear returns later on as if nothing has happened. Soon, Bear becomes irritated by their questioning and heads away upstairs, leaving Paddy and Mandy to fear things are getting worse. But just as they agree to confront Bear, they are stunned to find him and his bike are gone. Also next week, Charity Dingle finds out her granddaughter Sarah Sugden as the early stages of cervical cancer. Sarah has been keeping the news from her family amid her plan to continue with IVF. There's drama between sisters Vanessa Woodfield and Tracy Robinson too, while Kammy is left frustrates as pal Vinny Dingle gives him the cold shoulder. A final spoiler takes us back to Robert, as it's hinted he's facing trauma from his time in prison that threatens to land him in trouble.
