Aimee Lou Wood sports a baseball cap as she swaps out her Met Gala glam after revealing where she stands with SNL and quashing Walton Goggins feud rumours
Aimee Lou Wood cut a casual figure as she swapped out her tailored Met Gala glam for a baseball cap as she stepped out in NYC on Tuesday. The Sex Education star, 31, was among the stars in attendance at the iconic night of fashion, the 2025 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Benefit Gala, on Monday. Embodying the theme of the evening, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Aimee slipped into a cropped blazer with a matching shirt and tie that showed off her endless pins. But she switched up her look as she went for a stroll the morning after in a navy baseball cap, cream scalloped leather jacket, flared jeans and suede trainers, while carrying two different tote bags. Aimee used her appearance at the star-studded gala to clear up some of the drama that engulfed her appearance in, and the release of, the third instalment of The White Lotus. Speaking at the Met Gala, she proved she's well and truly buried the hatchet with her White Lotus co-star Walton Goggins by revealing they met up just days ago, following months of feud rumours. Aimee and her co-star Walton portrayed star-crossed lovers Rick and Chelsea on the latest season of the HBO show, with both their characters dying in the dramatic final episode. But something appeared afoot between Walton and Aimee, as last month it appeared they were no longer following each other on Instagram as feud rumors began to circulate. And appearing at the Met Gala on Monday night - which they both attended - she spoke about him for the first time since feud rumours began - just a few days on from them refollowing each other on socials. Aimee also said she would still appear on Saturday Night Live in the future after the show cruelly mocked her teeth as she addressed the possibility of making a surprise appearance on Walton's SNL episode this weekend. Remaining coy she told Entertainment Tonight: 'I couldn't say… but also I'm not, I'm not doing that.' She even clarified that she'd still go on SNL after the series mocked her teeth last month which led to her crying in public. 'Yeah! Why not? It would be fun,' she said. 'I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever.' Continuing to quash feud rumours she added: 'I actually saw him two days ago. We haven't had that much time to debrief about everything. So every time we see each other, there's never time.' 'So it'll be good to see him again tonight, because we saw each other briefly a couple days ago and we were just trying to download everything and the episodes and Rick and Chelsea's whole story now that we've seen it in full. There's just never enough time.' It comes after on Sunday it appeared they might have ended their feud after months of speculation as they followed each other on Instagram again. Fans even previously speculated that Walton may have blocked Aimee because her comments and likes on his past posts had disappeared. But now they are definitely following each other again which could lead White Lotus fans to believe they have managed to sort out their differences. Last month fans speculated that he might of blocked her as rumours continued to circulate about what might have happened between them. Her comments and likes on his past posts had disappeared. However, previous comments from Walton were still visible on Aimee's posts. It comes after it was revealed that Aimee and Walton are definitely following each other again on Instagram after fans had speculated that he'd blocked her According to Instagram Help Center, comments and likes are removed when you block someone on Instagram. When you block someone, their likes and posts will be removed from your photos and videos. Unblocking someone does not restore their previous likes and comments. Aimee Lou, who boasts 2.6m Instagram followers, has been passionately sharing behind the scenes photos and reposts from her co-stars throughout the third season, with Walton also sharing his own set memories. And in their posts they have both enthusiastically tagged their co-stars - every one but each other. They are both still following all the other cast members from the show.

Cynthia Erivo put on a leggy display as she hit the blue carpet at the 2025 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Benefit Gala on Monday. The actress, 38, looked every inch the Hollywood showstopper in a sparkling beaded bodysuit with a huge collar and voluminous skirt from Givenchy. Cynthia added inches to her frame in a pair of knee high lace up boots and toted a coordinated handbag. The Wicked star waved to the crowds showing off her iconic long nails, which coordinated with her red, white and black ensemble. Cynthia let her dramatic long black train cascaded behind her as she made her way up the famous Met steps. The singer, who is set to reprise her role as Elphaba in Wicked later this year, was all smiles as she posed up a storm on the star-studded blue carpet. Deemed the Oscars of the East Coast, the Met Gala sees some of the biggest stars descend on the iconic The Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual charity event. Teyana Taylor, La La Anthony and Ego Nwodim hosted the Vogue livestream, with Emma Chamberlain tasked with doing interviews on the blue carpet. This year's is also the first Met Gala in more than 20 years to have a menswear theme, with the focus being Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. This gala is also being hosted by a group of Black male celebrities, including Williams, the musical artist and Louis Vuitton menswear director, and Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and A$AP Rocky named as co-chairs. LeBron James, who was named an honorary chair, previously announced that he will miss the gala due to the knee injury he suffered in the Lakers' season-ending loss to the Timberwolves during Game 5 of their first-round playoff series last Wednesday. As this year's honorary chair, the NBA 's all-time leading scorer shared that his wife, Savannah James, will attend in his place. 'Unfortunately because of my knee injury I sustained at the end of the season I won't be able to attend the Met Gala in NY tonight as so many people have been asking and congratulating me on!' James, 40, wrote on X, just hours before the Met Gala red carpet event. They're joined by Vogue's Anna Wintour, the mastermind behind the gala, considered the year's biggest and starriest party. While the co-chairs were already announced, the leaked list has only fueled the hype. The A-list lineup is packed with stars like Rihanna, Sydney Sweeney, Hailey Bieber, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Cynthia Erivo. Bad Bunny, Donatella Versace, Vera Wang, Usher, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Allen White, and Suki Waterhouse are also on the guest list. It's shaping up to be a night packed with Hollywood's biggest names — t hough some fans were surprised to see a few notable absences. The gala raises the bulk of the curation budget for the museum´s Costume Institute. This year, it's about tailoring and suiting as interpreted through the history and meaning of Black dandyism across the Atlantic diaspora. The theme is inspired by the annual spring exhibition, which this year is based in large part on Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, a book written by Monica L. Miller. She is guest curator of the exhibit. 'Historical manifestations of dandyism range from absolute precision in dress and tailoring to flamboyance and fabulousness in dress and style,' Miller writes in the exhibit catalog. 'Whether a dandy is subtle or spectacular, we recognize and respect the deliberateness of the dress, the self-conscious display, the reach for tailored perfection, and the sometimes subversive self-expression.' How the dress code goes, in terms of taste and style, is anyone's guess. Wintour has a hand in virtually all things gala, so the presumption is things can't go too far off the rails. She recently knocked down the rumour that she approves all looks, telling Good Morning America she'll only weigh in if asked. Just days before the fundraiser, Sarah Jessica Parker, left fans stunned as she, sadly, confirmed she would not be attending due to a scheduling conflict. 'I have to work,' the Sex and The City star told Entertainment Tonight. 'But there's going to be so much to see, and I look forward to seeing what everybody does and how they interpret the theme and the homework they did for the assignment. A very joyful assignment.' While speaking about fashion's biggest night, the Golden Globe winner continued: 'I care a lot about it and I want to try to honor the work of the curators and everybody who sort of inspired this moment for those of us who get to attend.' Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz are also among the newly released names of celebrities opting to skip the highly exclusive, annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. On Monday, a source revealed to The Sun that Brooklyn had planned on father David Beckham's 50th birthday bash instead of the Met Gala. The couple, however, were noticeably no-shows at David's London celebration on Saturday, with the reason behind their fallout revealed here by Mail+. And despite a string of showstopping looks, Jennifer Lopez is also set to skip this year's gala, with learning that the star will be busy working on her new film Office Romance. The Sun reported that Brooklyn felt to uncomfortable to go amid rumors that Nicola was being blamed for a rift with his family. 'They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David's party on Saturday,' the insider said. The exhibit, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, draws on other sources beyond Miller's book. It's organised into 12 sections. Each symbolises a characteristic of dandy style as defined by Zora Neale Hurston in her 1934 essay, Characteristics of Negro Expression. The guest list amounts to about 450 high-profile people from tech, sports, art, entertainment and more.
