See all the seedings The 64-team, regional round of the NCAA Division I Softball Tournament opens May 16 with games at 16 sites around the country. Those matchups will begin the journey for one team that will be crowned the 2025 Women's College World Series champion. Oklahoma, the No. 2 seed overall, knows the journey well. The Sooners are looking for their fifth consecutive title. They host Omaha, California and Boston University in the Norman, Oklahoma, regional round. Their double-elimination round opens with Boston at 6 p.m. ET Friday on ESPNU. Texas A&M tops the other side of the bracket in the College Station, Texas, regional.
