Late Queen Elizabeth 'talks' through her two corgis, UK royal makes bizarre claim
Prince Andrew's ex-wife and Queen Elizabeth II's former daughter-in-law made a surprising claim at a recent event: the late monarch reaches out to her through her dogs, Muick and Sandy. The 65-year-old Duchess of York made the bizarre remark at the Creative Women Platform Forum conference in London, nearly three years after she inherited the Queen's beloved corgis following her death in September 2022. Although divorced for over 40 years, Ferguson still lives with her ex-husband Prince Andrew at their family home, Royal Lodge in Windsor. The dogs were left to them after the Queen's passing and often feature on the royal's social media. 'I have her dogs. I have her corgis, so every morning they come in and go, 'Woof, woof' and all that, and I'm sure it's her talking to me,' she said during the conference, sparking laughter from the audience. A post shared by Sarah Ferguson (Fergie) (@sarahferguson15) 'The real thing is that I had the greatest honor to be her daughter-in-law. You know, that's really huge,' Ferguson added. 'When I was driving here, I saw the Elizabeth [train] line… I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was.' Queen Elizabeth owned over 30 corgis and 'dorgi' mixes throughout her life. Muick and Sandy were gifted to her by Prince Andrew and Ferguson in 2021. After they returned to the couple following the monarch's death, Ferguson has openly spoken about the Queen sending signs through the dogs. 'They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic. But they're total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there's no squirrels in sight, I believe it's because the Queen is passing by," she said. Ferguson has a total of seven dogs and frequently shares updates about them on social media.

Sarah Ferguson Says Queen Elizabeth Communicates with Her Through Her Corgis
Sarah Ferguson was close with her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, throughout Her late Majesty's long life. The Duchess of York married Prince Andrew in 1986; they divorced in 1996, 10 years later, but still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor. Also living there are the late Queen's surviving corgis, Sandy and Muick, and Ferguson said this week that Queen Elizabeth communicates with her through her Ferguson was close to her mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth during the late monarch's long life—so much so that the Duchess of York now has Her late Majesty's remaining corgis, Sandy and Muick, living with her and her ex-husband Prince Andrew at Royal Lodge in Windsor. (Yes, although they've been divorced for nearly 30 years, the former couple still live together—but, hey, there's 30 rooms, after all.) It is through Sandy and Muick, Ferguson said, that Queen Elizabeth still communicates with her. While speaking at the Creative Women Platform Forum, the Duchess of York said, via The Times, 'I have her dogs. I have her corgis. Every morning they come in and go 'Woof, woof' and all that, and I'm sure it's her talking to me. I'm sure it's her, reminding me she's still around.' Of the late Queen, Ferguson added, 'I had the greatest honor to be her daughter-in-law. That's pretty huge. And when I was driving here, I saw the Elizabeth line [a railway line named in the late Queen's honor] and I said, 'I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was.'' Ferguson previously shared, per The Mirror, that Sandy and Muick 'are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic.' 'But they're total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there's no squirrels in sight, I believe it's because the Queen is passing by,' she added. Queen Elizabeth was a lifelong dog lover, owning more than 30 corgis and dorgis—a corgi-dachshund mix—throughout her lifetime. In addition to taking care of Sandy and Muick, Ferguson has stepped more publicly into the royal fold since Queen Elizabeth's death, attending royal family events like the traditional Easter service at Windsor and Christmas at Sandringham even though she hadn't done so since she and Prince Andrew divorced in 1996 after 10 years of marriage. Ferguson was recently invited by King Charles, her former brother-in-law, to a Buckingham Palace reception, where the King thanked those working for cancer charities. Charles—who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024—also met with others who had been diagnosed with cancer, including Ferguson, who received back-to-back diagnoses of skin and breast cancer in recent years. Of the King, the Duchess of York said at the event, 'He puts his whole heart into everything he does.' Read the original article on InStyle

Sarah Ferguson Says the Late Queen Elizabeth Is 'Talking' to Her Through Her Corgis
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, said Queen Elizabeth is "talking" to her through her corgis Prince Andrew's ex-wife said the late monarch sends a sign through the corgis she inherited from her PEOPLE previously confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of York received Queen Elizabeth's corgis Muick and Sandy upon her death in 2022Sarah Ferguson is in sync with Queen Elizabeth through the late monarch's beloved dogs. On May 14, the Duchess of York, 65, posted a video where she made the revelation in a conversation on stage at Creative Women Platform Forum conference in London. PEOPLE confirmed that the Duchess of York and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, inherited the Queen's last two surviving corgis upon her death in September 2022 at age 96. "I have her dogs. I have her corgis, so every morning they come in and go, 'Woof, woof' and all that and I'm sure it's her talking to me," the Duchess said in a clip shared to Instagram, which made the audience laugh. "The real thing is that I had the greatest honor to be her daughter-in-law. You know, that's really huge," she continued. "When I was driving here, I saw the Elizabeth [train] line… I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was." The Duchess of York, who is popularly known as Fergie, was married to Queen Elizabeth's second son from 1986 to 1996, and the former couple share daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. While the Duke and Duchess of York split years ago, they remain on friendly terms and still live together at their family home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor. The late Queen was a dog lover throughout her life with a particular affinity for corgis (she owned more than 30 corgis and "dorgi" mixes), and in 2021, the York family gave her what proved to be her last two corgis. Following her death, a source close to Prince Andrew told PEOPLE that the dogs, Muick and Sandy, would go back to live with him and Fergie. "The corgis will return to live at Royal Lodge with the Duke and Duchess. It was the Duchess who found the puppies, which were gifted to Her Majesty by the Duke," the insider said. Speaking to PEOPLE in 2023, Fergie spoke about how the corgis send her a sign from the late Queen. "They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic," Fergie told PEOPLE in 2023. "But they're total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there's no squirrels in sight, I believe it's because the Queen is passing by." "They're with me a lot, and they think I'm very funny," she added. The author and advocate occasionally shares updates on Muick and Sandy with her social media followers, recently shouting out her whole menagerie of pups on International Pet Day in April. "Happy International Pet Day to my seven sweet doggies!" she captioned an Instagram dedicated to her dogs on April 11. "From their wagging tails and comforting cuddles, to the calming presence and loyal companionship they give every single day, life is simply brighter with these amazing furry friends by my side." In addition to her royal corgis, the post hinted that the Duchess of York owns Yorkies (a fitting breed for her title!) called Roary, Ginger and Poppy. The corgis were a comfort to Fergie in 2023 as she recovered from surgery following a breast cancer diagnosis and she wrote about how a therapeutic walk with them brought her solace. "I took all 7 doggies yesterday to where Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth used to walk them. It was wonderful to have a moment to remember," she captioned a carousel of flower pictures that July. Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! The Duchess of York navigated two cancer diagnoses within a six-month span between the summer of 2023 and start of 2024. Fergie was diagnosed with breast cancer (and underwent a single mastectomy) in June 2023 and was later diagnosed with malignant melanoma (a form of skin cancer) months later in January 2024. She has spoken openly about the "dark" time and in May 2024, her daughter Princess Beatrice said her mother was "all clear" following the health scares. Read the original article on People

Sarah Ferguson says she is 'sure' the late Queen Elizabeth is talking to her through her corgis
The Duchess of York has said she is "sure" the late Queen Elizabeth II speaks to her through her corgis. Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband Prince Andrew inherited the Queen's corgis, Muick and Sandy, after she died in 2022. Now, Ferguson has said her former mother-in-law is communicating to her through her beloved pets. Speaking at the Creative Women Platform Forum she said: "I have her [Queen Elizabeth's] dogs, I have her corgis so every morning they come in and go 'woof woof' and I'm sure its her talking to me." She has previously said what an honour it was to have been given the dogs. The Duchess went on to say: "I had the greatest honour to be her daughter-in-law. That's pretty huge." "When I was driving here I saw the Elizabeth Line, and I said 'I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was." The Queen was known for her love of dogs, having owned more than 30 corgis in her lifetime. Many of her dogs are descended from her first corgi, Susan which she received for her 18th birthday present and even joined her on her Honeymoon in 1947. Willow was among the most familiar corgis of the final years of the Queen's reign. The 14th-generation Royal Corgi starred in a London 2012 Olympic sketch with the Queen, alongside Daniel Craig as James Bond. The Queen named one of the puppies - Fergus the daschund-corgi mix - after her uncle, who was killed in action during the First World War. She named the other corgi Muick (pronounced Mick) after Loch Muick on the Balmoral estate. But the monarch was devastated when five-month-old Fergus died just weeks after he was gifted to her, in the aftermath of Philip's death. He was later replaced with a new corgi puppy named Sandy, from Andrew's daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, for the Queen's 95th birthday. The Duchess of York, along with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, lives in the Royal Lodge in Windsor with her seven dogs.
