Man facing charges after armed and barricaded incident in Timberlea: N.S. RCMP
An RCMP detachment can be seen in this file photo. (David Prisciak/CTV News) A man is facing charges following an armed and barricaded incident in Timberlea, N.S. RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of a disturbance at a home on Lakehigh Crescent shortly after midnight on Sunday. 'Investigators learned that a man armed with a knife had gained entry into the home through the front door and threatened to harm himself. When a female occupant, who was known to the man, asked him to leave, he refused and barricaded himself inside,' reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. The man exited the home after about three hours of communicating with the RCMP Crisis Negotiation Team and was arrested, according to police. A 33-year-old woman and three children were inside the home at the time of the incident and police say they were unharmed. The unnamed man has been charged with two counts of failure to comply with a probation order and mischief. APD SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams called to apartment complex in northeast Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams were called out Friday night about a person who is barricaded inside an apartment complex with a gun. The apartment is located near Carlisle Blvd. and Solano Road in northeast Albuquerque. The stats behind APD's bait car program Police are saying the conflict started from an argument between residents and that's when a gun was involved. There are no reports of any injuries.
