(9) QUINN'S TIME made a fair debut. He should improve but has drawn wide. Race 2 (1,400m) Race 2 (1,400m) (3) MALSHANA MOU has put in two smart showings over shorter. She has drawn well and can go one better. (2) KALI BWANA was a beaten favourite last time, although she has put in improved efforts in her last two starts. (1) SCANDALIZE has put in two modest efforts but she can improve over this trip. (8) ALANNAH has a tricky draw to contend with but she is tried over the trip. Race 3 (1,400m) Race 3 (1,400m) (1) NOODSBERG needed her last run after returning from a break. She meets some useful older runners but looks to have more in store. Gary Rich has two competitive runners in (3) ENGLISH PRIMROSE and (5) DAWN SURPRISE. Dawn Surprise could be the pick, but English Primrose is back on her favourite surface where she ran second in her last four outings on the Poly. (4) SKY VELOCITY has finished second in her last three starts. Race 4 (2,000m) Race 4 (2,000m) (4) SILKY JET will be taking on males but she has useful Highveld form over the trip. She should be competitive. (1) KING BAVARIAN has consistent form and a handy galloping weight. (5) STORM AHEAD has improved at his last two runs. He ran fourth two starts ago and finished second last time. (2) BASIE RAAKVAT has been knocking on the door and stays the trip well. Race 5 (1,600m) Race 5 (1,600m) (1) DANCING ON A CLOUD ran below expectations first-up after his maiden win. He can make amends. (2) UZWANO improved with blinkers last time. (9) LANDSEER showed up well first-up and can improve back on the Poly. (11) FAIRE ADVANTAGE returns from a lengthy break but won his last two over this course and distance. Race 6 (1,600m) Race 6 (1,600m) (3) FIREBURST finished well to get her head in front last time and could possibly follow up. (4) THE MIGHTIEST ran second behind Streisand last time, and got a three-point raise in the ratings. (1) GREENHOUSE was not far back in her first local outing and Kabelo Matsunyane will replace the inexperienced apprentice from a plum draw. (2) QHAWEKAZI had some fair Cape form. One to watch. Race 7 (1,200m) Race 7 (1,200m) (3) BLUE HOLLY is a smart filly. Although her best recent form has been over a furlong shorter, she has a light weight. (5) RICH FOLKS HOAX was narrowly beaten first-up and is now ½ kg better off with (6) QUANDARY. There should be very little between the two. (2) ICY BLAST is never far back and was a narrow winner last start. She boasts some fair form. Race 8 (1,200m) Race 8 (1,200m) (1) COTTON RON has been consistent. He has a plum draw and his apprentice rider has been replaced. (9) THERE SHE GOES does not have the best of draws but the Poly should suit and she rates a strong winning chance. (10) PURPLE POWAHOUSE is always game and has not been out of the money in his last five starts. He has the widest draw to contend with but expect another honest effort. (8) DARING ACT could get involved with the finish. Race 9 (1,000m) Race 9 (1,000m) (3) ICY ELEANOR was given a lengthy break after her debut win. She ran second after a break of nearly a year and can go one better. (8) DIYARANI returns from a break. She shed her maiden on the Poly and should feature. Tienie Prinsloo has two competitive runners in (5) HAPPY ANALIA, a narrow winner last start, and (9) RUGGER LOVER, who is now 1kg better off with Icy Eleanor.

(2) ALANNAH was a fair third at her second outing. (8) WINTER BLESSING improved last time. Race 2 (1,400m) (1) KIMBALL O'HARA is in good form and over his optimum trip. He also has barrier 1. (2) RUN TO RIO won well last time. He has an experienced apprentice aboard. (5) FUTURE SAINT ran second last start but can make amends. (8) BEACH PALACE goes well over the course and distance. Race 3 (1,200m) (8) WING WALKER improved in the Cape and makes his local debut. He should feature. (7) YIPPEE KIYAY makes his debut but boasts a smart pedigree. (4) SOVEREIGN COMMAND can go close in this line-up. (2) GRAND FORCE showed up well on this course last time. Race 4 (1,200m) (11) LIMITLESS SKY found some market support last time over the course and distance. (10) KALI BWANA ran second last time. She should be in the mix. (6) MIDNIGHT HOUR raced green on debut but should improve. (13) FINE WINE was not far back on debut. Worth following. Race 5 (1,200m) (6) COTTON RON has been in good form. With a 4kg claimer aboard, he should be competitive. (5) NOW I GOT YOU won last time. He can go in again. (4) ONE IRISH ROVER also won last time. With a 4kg claimer aboard, he can follow up. (8) DOUBLE OLYMPIC ran fifth behind Now I Got You two starts ago but won last time. They meet on similar weight terms. (7) GOOD TRAVELLER runs well on this course and has been consistent lately. (8) MAR DEL PLATA has only 50kg on his back. He can threaten. Race 7 (1,000m) (5) WISSA'S ON FIRE was narrowly beaten over the course and distance two starts ago. A repeat should see him close again. (11) BLUE HOLLY has a big weight to shoulder, but she could prove too classy for this line-up. (4) AGRADO got a hefty six-point shunt up the handicap for his last win over the course and distance. Andrew Fortune rides. (8) IBHELE could be off a more competitive mark now. Race 8 (1,600m) (9) DAPPER steps up to a suitable trip, albeit the draw is tricky. (4) INGQWELE improved over longer last time and the extra furlong should suit. (2) THE GHOST is down in class. She has a favourable gate here. (1) GURKHA won his maiden well. He can improve from gate 1. Race 9 (1,600m) (12) DANCING ON A CLOUD opened his account second-up. He has a difficult draw but looks to have a touch of class. (3) TERMINATOR was beaten only narrowly last time. He has drawn well and can go one better. (2) PAPA C has shown up well in his last two starts from tricky draws. He has a better gate. (7) NUMZAAN has been in good form and has a handy weight.
