3 signs of a future Liv Morgan singles run dropped on WWE RAW

However, it has been a few months since she became a part of the tag team division with Raquel Rodriguez. The duo has won the titles twice this year. Not only that, Morgan has also been a part of the stable, Judgment Day, alongside her onscreen boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio. She made her return to Monday Night RAW on the May 26th edition after being away due to the filming of her new Hollywood film, 'Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.' On her first night back, there were hints that she is set to split from her boyfriend, her tag team, and stable moving forward. Here are the three signs that indicate that Liv Morgan will soon return to being a singles performer: 3. Altercation with Raquel Rodriguez Liv Morgan had her return match on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW. She faced Kairi Sane in an exciting showdown and was at the top of her game, even after missing in-ring action for almost a month. Morgan was in control until Raquel Rodriguez got into an argument with Roxanne Perez, who came out, looking like she was trying to help Morgan. 2. Eyeing IYO Sky's title The events that led to Liv Morgan's match against Kairi Sane were due to a backstage segment. She and Raquel Rodriguez crossed paths with Kairi Sane and her former Damage CTRL cohort, IYO Sky, who is the reigning WWE Women's World Champion. Morgan mocked the duo and even eyed her title. Unfortunately, Stark got injured during the match after a bad landing from a dropkick. Because of that, she had to leave, and the match had to change in the moment. Kairi had to quickly adjust and finish the match with Ripley. In the end, Rhea Ripley pinned Kairi to win. The two used to be part of the group Damage CTRL and have a long history together, going back to their wrestling days in Japan. Injured WWE Superstar Arrives At RAW, Will Compete In MITB Qualifier
A previously injured WWE Superstar has arrived at the arena for tonight's episode of RAW and will return to action for the first time in 2025. WWE took to social media this afternoon to reveal that Damage CTRL member Kairi Sane has arrived in Greenville for tonight's episode of RAW, tweeting out: Advertisement 'Woah! *Flushed face emoji* @KAIRI_official is here in Greenville ahead of #WWERaw! *Eyeball emoji,*' WWE said in a post. You can check out a video of her arrival in the embedded post below: The former NXT Women's Champion hasn't competed since the December 2 episode of RAW, when Sane and IYO SKY lost a tag match to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Kairi Sane was written off television shortly after this match, and we haven't seen her on WWE programming since. Sane would later confirm that she tore a ligament in her thumb, which put her on the sidelines for a considerable period of time. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce wasted no time taking to social media to announce that Sane will be involved in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. One continuous issue is the soft drop of once-prevalent angles. A former premier faction could suffer this practice, as a new report suggests they have quietly disbanded. "I don't know if this is 'official'—but I was told unofficially that Damage CTRL's done," Alvarez said. "The group is done. And that probably means that maybe Asuka and Kairi might come back as a tag team, and Iyo's obviously a big singles star, and maybe they just figured that Dakota, she's not going to be at the level of an Iyo, doesn't have a partner, and we don't do a six-woman division, so she got cut." Dakota Kai was one of the most surprising names in the recent slew of releases, but her constant injuries likely made it tough for her to receive another sustained push. She was the glue keeping the idea of the group together, so her absence abruptly ended the union.
