Kairi Sane is back in
WWE
after a long break due to injury. She returned on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw and took part in a Triple Threat match to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
It was her first match since December 2023, and even though she didn't win, fans were excited to see her back.
In the match, Kairi faced Rhea Ripley and Zoey Stark. Unfortunately, Stark got injured during the match after a bad landing from a dropkick. Because of that, she had to leave, and the match had to change in the moment. Kairi had to quickly adjust and finish the match with Ripley. In the end, Rhea Ripley pinned Kairi to win.
IYO SKY
shares sweet message after Kairi Sane's return
After the show, former tag team partner
IYO SKY
posted a warm message on social media to welcome
Kairi Sane
back. The two used to be part of the group Damage CTRL and have a long history together, going back to their wrestling days in Japan.
IYO SKY wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
'Welcome back!!! @KAIRI_official 🙌🏻🙌🏻✨✨'
This simple but touching message made fans smile. Many people still remember how strong their team was and how much respect they had for each other. Even though Damage CTRL has not been seen on WWE TV lately and Dakota
Kai
has been released, the friendship between IYO and Kairi is clearly still strong.
Their bond was built during their early wrestling careers in STARDOM, a Japanese women's wrestling company. Later, they became a team in WWE and were seen as one of the most exciting duos in the women's division.
Now, fans are wondering what's next. Could WWE reunite IYO and Kairi as a team? Or could they be set for a future match against each other? Either way, the support from IYO made it clear that Kairi is still respected by top talent in WWE.
Kairi Sane's future looks bright
While this return match did not end in victory, Kairi looked strong and focused in the ring. She showed she was ready to compete again. Her ability to adjust during an unexpected situation showed how skilled and professional she is. It was a strong reminder of what Kairi Sane brings to WWE. She is experienced, skilled, and has a powerful presence in the ring. Her return also adds more depth to WWE's women's division, which continues to grow stronger.

Eat, cook, post: DIY cafe trend everyone's talking about
There's a new trend brewing in India's café scene — the rise of 'DIY cafés'. Inspired by the cosy, interactive experiences of konbinis or convenience stores in Japanese and Korean dramas, these cafés are putting a twist on dining by letting customers roll up their sleeves and cook their own meals. Whether it's preparing a steaming bowl of ramen at a hot-water counter or crafting the perfect cup of coffee, these cafés are inviting patrons to become active participants in their culinary journeys. This hands-on approach has resonated deeply with youngsters seeking personalisation and novel experiences. A post shared by TheBudgetBlogger| Akshay Kumar (@thebudgetblogger._) At the heart of this trend is The Noodles Café in Manipal. Café owner Disha Shetty, who moved to the Karnataka suburb to start the outlet, shares, 'We wanted a culture where people walk in to cook and truly experience their own meal. It's not just about ordering and eating — it's about the whole process.' Customers can choose from a range of ramen packets and customise their toppings, with the staff ready to assist if needed. Delhi's K Friends Café operates similarly, offering a slice of everyday konbini magic. Rejakshi Chatterjee, a 23-year-old postgraduate student who often frequents the joint tells us, 'You grab a ramen packet, cook it yourself, and enjoy it or take it along. It's about being in the moment, but capturing it for your Instagram too! A post shared by Myfroyoland delhi (@myfroyoland_delhi) Mauji Café in Pune also taps into this spirit, especially for those looking for a light bite or a warm drink. 'We have a snack bar where people can make small bites or brew their own tea and coffee,' says owner Vandita Kedia Purohit, adding, 'It's a fun way to engage with customers, and it makes things easier for our team, too.' DIY is finding a sweet spot in the world of desserts, too. MyFroyoLand gives customers the chance to swirl their own frozen yoghurt and load it with toppings. Founder Avinash Dolwani remarks that this model bridges the gap between cafés and traditional dessert parlours. 'DIY trends are growing as customers demand more personalisation and unique experiences,' he notes. The rise of DIY cafés reflects a global shift toward slow living, where creativity and connection take centre stage. Cafés inviting customers to turn their meal into a memory, has attracted not just students and young professionals, but families as well. Pratyusha Paul Chowdhury, an engineer and mother of two, shares, 'My kids love being able to choose their flavours and toppings. It turns a simple outing into an interactive experience.'

A report by Uncrowned further suggested Ron Killings had decided not to extend his association, offering a clear distinction on the nature of his departure amidst speculations of a rift leading to an abrupt ending. A clash with JC Mateo at last Friday's SmackDown will be remembered as R-Truth's WWE swansong, marking his final ring appearance for the company. The stalwart also recently fought against WWE legend John Cena during Saturday Night's Main Event on May 25, a match that would now be counted as part of a befitting send-off. R-Truth joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 1999 for an initial stint that lasted two years. The wrestler found notable success outside, winning the world championship gold in NWA while also enjoying his time in TNA. But it was upon his return to the WWE scene in 2007 that he bagged his most memorable achievements. R-Truth won the United States Championship twice and won Tag-Team titles with Kofi Kingston and the Miz. Maximising his character, whose comic timing and charisma made waves, WWE even introduced a 24/7 Championship. R Truth holds the record for winning this belt 54 times during his career.
