Danaya gets second chance in love after Aquil's death in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'
Despite the pain of losing her husband, Danaya (Sanya Lopez) has found the courage to love again in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." Monday's episode of the fantasy series showed Danaya avenging the troop of villains who killed her husband Aquil (Rocco Nacino), and Gaeia (Cassy Lavarias) in the mortal world. Overwhelmed with grief after losing her family, Danaya transforms into a stray dog—until she crosses paths with the mortal Theo (Martin Del Rosario), who adopted her. Unaware of the dog's true identity, Theo named her Darcy—a name he created by combining the names of his late daughter, Danica, and his late wife, Nancy. Each day, Theo and Darcy grow closer to each other, often spending time together. One day, while in the forest, Theo encounters a tragic accident that prompts Darcy to save him. Moved by Theo's condition, Darcy transforms back into Danaya and uses the power of the Brilyante ng Lupa to heal his wounds. In a fleeting moment, Theo witnessed Darcy transform into Danaya before falling unconscious. Danaya brought him back to his home, and when he awoke, he found her by his side. It was then that she revealed her true identity to him. With her true identity revealed, Danaya and Theo shared a heartfelt conversation where they finally confessed their feelings for one another. Their love was sealed with a kiss, followed by an intimate moment to profess their love for each other. "Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." Michelle Dee, Mika Salamanca make debut appearances in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'
Michelle Dee and Mika Salamanca just debuted in "Sang'gre," making their striking entrances as Hara Cassandra and Anaca, respectively. Tuesday's episode introduced Hara Cassandra, the queen of Lireo and the current keeper of the air gem. She was born of Lira's hair, Amihan's ashes, and Cassiopeia's blood. She was approached by the three Sang'gres, Alena (Gabbi Garcia), Danaya (Sanya Lopez), and Pirena (Glaiza De Castro), who were worried after Cassiopeia (Solenn Heussaff) shared a haunting vision of a mysterious enemy determined to kill her. Pressed about the fate of her gem, Cassandra said the right heir would come in time. Cassandra eventually ordered Danaya to take Aquil (Rocco Nacino) and their daughter Gaiea (Cassandra Lavarias) to the world of humans without revealing Cassiopeia's dark vision that Gaiea would be killed by humans and therefore wouldn't inherit the earth gem. Meanwhile, in Mine-a-ve, Mitena continued training her people for war, declaring her intent to take over Encantadia. Mika made her first appearance as Anaca, Mitena's majestic white owl who transforms into a humanoid version. She was spying on the Sang'gres and reported to the ice queen that Danaya had gone to the world of humans, news that delighted Mitena. Bianca Umali had also made her first appearance as Terra on the show through another one of Cassiopeia's visions, where she saw the prophecy of a new savior. Terra's character emerged as the foretold protector destined to continue Danaya's legacy. "Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." Sanya Lopez transforms into Sang'gre Danaya in latest TikTok video
Sanya Lopez is so ready to take her role as Danaya in 'Sang'gre' again! On TikTok, the Sparkle star shared a clip of her transformation as the beloved keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa. The video showed a helpless Danaya being cast into the mortal world, as a voice in the background could be heard saying ''Ipapatapon ang Sang'gre Danaya kung saan wala na siyang Encantadong mapipinsila. Ipapatapon ang Sang'gre Danaya sa mundo ng mga tao.' It then transitioned into Sanya wearing her warrior costume which included her arnis sticks. "Sang'gre" is the spinoff of the hit Kapuso series "Encantadia." Aside from Sanya, the series will also see Glaiza De Castro, Kylie Padilla and Gabbi Garcia reprising their roles as Pirena, Amihan and Alena. 'Sang'gre' is topbilled by Faith Da Silva, Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda as the new keepers of the gems of fire, water, air, and earth. The series will also feature a new set of characters including Rhian Ramos as Mitena, the late Ricky Davao as Governor Emil, Ysabel Ortega as Armea, and Sienna Stevens as the younger counterpart of Rhian.
