Source: Shutterstock / Shutterstock Beyoncé has been redefining country glam with her Cowboy Carter tour, and her hair has played a starring role in the show. From blonde waves to buss down middle parts, each of Bey's hairstyles have told a story that intertwines Southern roots, Black beauty, and the freedom to express it all. Beyoncé's tour hairstyles have always been a key part of her performance persona, almost as iconic as the choreography and vocals. From the honey-blonde, wind-blown waves of the Dangerously in Love era to the long, wet-look strands that defined Drunk in Love , the Cécred Hair Care founder's tresses has evolved right alongside her music. On the Formation tour, she gave us sculptural braids and Afrocentric styles that felt like visual declarations of Black power. During Renaissance , she shimmered in silver with high-glam, high-volume tresses that matched the album's Studio 54 energy. On each tour, Bey's hair not only complements the vibe but also helps define it. Beyoncé's Best 'Cowboy Carter' Tour Hair Moments This era of Beyoncé isn't just about rhinestones and fringe; it's about reclamation. Her hair, ever-changing yet always flawless, echoes the themes of the Cowboy Carter album itself: tradition flipped on its head, heritage honored with an edge, and confidence that unapologetically gallops across genres. Whether Bey is channeling a rodeo-ready cowgirl or giving us full-on disco diva, her hair moves like her music, timeless, transformative, and rooted in culture. As the tour continues to dazzle, we're taking a moment to celebrate the hair moments that have left us in awe. Scroll down for a visual roundup of Beyoncé's most iconic Cowboy Carter hairstyles that were worthy of its own standing ovation. Crowned In Curls: Beyoncé's Best 'Cowboy Carter' Hair Moments was originally published on Bey and her loose blonde curls are a match made in Heaven. They frame her gorgeous face perfectly, and they also catch and bounce to the beat right along with the star. There's nothing more appealing than Bey tossing a head full of lively curls back and forth, around and around, while on stage. This hairstyle is the queen's signature 'do and possibly our favorite. Bey is the mother of buss downs! The Grammy award-winning artist has since been rocking the popular hairstyle, and she wears it well. Now and then, she will wear it straight, but most of the time, she includes some version of curls in the mix. Bey nails this 70's hairstyle each time. We all know the Houston native loves a good hair + fan moment, and this hairstyle is ideal for that hair-blowing moment that Mrs. Carter always slays. The waves are Beyoncé's thing! The texture adds a little more life to her tresses, giving the singer an effortless glamorous vibe and contributing to the carefree elegance that she exudes on stage.

Texas native Barrington Dave secretly taught his girlfriend Kennedy Kinnard to ice skate for weeks to pull off a surprise Rockefeller Center proposal that went viral on TikTok Inspired by Kennedy's dream of visiting New York, Dave battled rain, nerves, and a made-up event to create a movie-worthy moment The couple, who met at a 2021 wedding, are now planning a 2026 ceremony blending New York elegance with southern charm — a nod to their romantic, storybook journeyTexas native Barrington Dave went to great lengths to orchestrate a surprise proposal for his girlfriend Kennedy Kinnard at the iconic Rockefeller Center ice rink in New York City. The carefully planned moment, which went viral on TikTok, shows Dave teaching Kinnard how to ice skate in the weeks leading up to the big moment. Dave's inspiration for the proposal came when Kinnard expressed a desire to visit New York City. 'I was looking for inspiration on TikTok,' Dave exclusively tells PEOPLE. 'I saw the Rockefeller tree and I thought 'Oh that would be perfect.' ' He knew he wanted to propose by the end of 2024, and when Kinnard mentioned wanting to visit New York, he saw an opportunity to create a memorable proposal. Knowing that ice skating would be a crucial element of his plan, Dave took Kinnard skating near her law school to ensure she could maintain her balance on the ice. After a few sessions, Dave booked the trip and began to plan the big moment. On the day of the proposal, Dave faced several challenges, including rainy weather and Kinnard's concerns about an imaginary event that he had fabricated as a cover. 'The biggest thing was the weather being rainy and cold,' Dave explains. 'Kennedy just got her hair done, and I was like, she's not gonna get her hair wet.' Despite the obstacles, he managed to get Kinnard onto the ice. As the rink cleared, Beyoncé's song "Dangerously in Love" began to play. 'At first I thought it was a joke,' Kinnard tells PEOPLE. 'I don't even know why I said, 'Are you joking? Like, what's going on?' I just remember he started talking, and I was making sure I didn't fall and that's when the screaming started.' The proposal video, which Dave initially shared for friends and family, unexpectedly went viral on TikTok. The couple was overwhelmed by the positive response from viewers around the world. 'There have been so many kind words of people saying how it puts a smile on their face,' Kinnard says. For Kinnard, the proposal was a dream come true. 'He listens to me really, because I would be like, 'Women love romance and in this day and age there's not that much romance,' ' she continues. 'And so to have someone who listened and heard like, 'I want a romantic proposal. I want romance.' He delivered. Romance exists.' There are few standout moments that have the Beyhive buzzing about Beyoncé's final Los Angeles performance. Rumi Carter sings along with Beyoncé to 'Dangerously in Love' Beyoncé's 7-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter, has been a highlight of the tour. She first stole the hearts of fans with her vibrant stage presence, excitedly waving at the crowd as Beyoncé performed 'Protector.' Since then, fans have eagerly waited to see her take the stage each night. At the final show, she delivered another adorable moment, singing the lyrics alongside her mom as she sang her 2003 song 'Dangerously in Love." Beyoncé replaces the infamous stairs, robot arm misses Bey's cup Beyoncé's concerts have been filled with high-tech production, and eagle-eyed fans have been watching every detail. One unexpected fan obsession has been the stairs Beyoncé descends before performing her song 'I'm That Girl.' Early in the tour, fans speculated that the stairs were brought out late, and each night, the Beyhive jokingly kept tabs on their arrival. Friday night, Beyoncé switched things up as she replaced the stairs with a sleek stage lift, and fans immediately took note of the upgrade. Another high-tech moment came courtesy of a robotic arm on stage. Fans noticed the arm may have missed Beyoncé's cup while pouring her a glass of SirDavis whiskey. Of course, the Beyhive caught the diva's reaction. And the moment instantly sparked playful reactions and admiration across the internet. Beyoncé's 'Tyrant' and 'Haunted' mashup makes the set list again Beyoncé's tour set list has been a major talking point. On night four, fans were thrilled to hear one particular mash-up, where Beyoncé mixed her 2024 song "Tyrant" with her 2013 tune "Haunted." And many were eager to see the fan-favorite made the cut once again during the last show. Blue Ivy chooses rodeo queen ahead of final show A fun tradition that's taken shape ahead of Beyoncé's shows is her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, selecting the best-dressed fan and crowning them 'rodeo queen' for their standout western-inspired outfit. Before the final show kicked off, Schure surprised the crowd by announcing that this time, the winner was chosen by none other than Blue Ivy Carter herself. Of course, Beyoncé debuted her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin Circuit Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. A total of five shows took place on the SoFi Stadium stage on April 28, May 1, May 4, May 7 and May 9. As fans know, Beyoncé first released the 27-track project in March 2024. It has since made history and broken multiple records. As Beyoncé's first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win best country album at the 2025 Grammys and also took home album of the year. The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26. She has already made history with her tour dates, including by playing the most dates at SoFi Stadium of any artist. Beyoncé's next tour stop will take place in Chicago at Soldier Field on May 15. Everything we learned about Beyoncé's upbringing and marriage to Jay Z, from her mother Tina Knowles' explosive memoir Matriarch
Knowles also discusses the moment that her youngest daughter told her she was pregnant at 17. While she worried for Solange, she could also see that her daughter had experienced a lot of loss at a young age. Her uncle Johnny had died of AIDs, as had her child therapist, and her best friend Marsai had been killed in a drive-by shooting.
