Danniella Westbrook says she wants to find 'true love' on reality dating show

Former EastEnders star Daniella Westbrook has opened up about her hopes for finding love again - and what reality TV show she thinks can help her achieve her goal Danniella Westbrook has admitted she is keen to find love again and wouldn't say no to taking part in one of the best known reality TV dating shows. ‌ The former EastEnders star hasn't had the easiest love life and now she thinks she could do with a helping hand from the Celebs Go Dating agency when it comes to finding her next romantic partner. ‌ Danniella, 51, is convinced a stint on the popular dating series could help her make sure her next partner is 'the real deal.' Danniella even went as far as to say she would "love" the chance to appear on the show to help fulfil her quest to find true love. ‌ READ MORE: Adam Collard confesses real reason for postponing wedding to age-gap fiancée Laura Woods Speaking to Daily Star in collaboration with Danniella said, 'I'd love to do Celebs Go Dating. I need to find true love. I thought I'd found it, but I was wrong.' The actress also confirmed that she isn't looking for anything flashy, and would prefer to shy away from the glamour of celebrity life. She continued, 'What kind of person would I like to be matched with? Someone with a job. Honestly, a good mate of mine, Danny, he's been in the industry for years doing hair. "He's worked with huge celebrities like Cara Delevingne and loads of others. If you could find someone like my mate Dan, that would be perfect." She then stressed the importance of having a strong work ethic - and being sober - as she added, 'He understands how tough this industry can be and has a solid work ethic. He's clean and sober, so he'd get where I'm coming from with my own lifestyle.' ‌ Danniella has regularly opened up about her struggles with substance addiction in the past and her difficult road to sobriety. Now she is seeking a connection that isn't based on hunger for fame, or with someone looking to get a rise in life from her celebrity status. She shared, 'I'd love to meet someone who's not a clout chaser, someone genuine who isn't obsessed with social media or has a massive ego. Just someone real, with a bit of drive. ‌ "Someone who doesn't want to suddenly be an actor or go on Big Brother once you've lived with them, you know, suddenly they want to give up everything they're doing and become famous.' Danniella confessed that having her heartbroken recently has made her feel more cautious about trying to find love, and that the negative experience did take its toll on her. But she hasn't been put off by the experience and is still keen to pursue new connections and just wants to find a "spark" again. She said, 'When you get to 51, and you think you've found 'the one', like I thought I had not too long ago, and it doesn't work out, it knocks you a bit. So now, I'm just trying to find that spark and energy again.'

Daniella Westbrook is 'ready to marry soulmate boxer and makes further plans to go under the knife'

Daniella Westbrook is reported to have finally found her 'soulmate' and is now planning to marry the bareknuckle boxer who 'doesn't judge her'. The actress, 51, who rose to fame on Eastenders, is in a 'love bubble' with Charlie 'Chasa Real Talk' Symonds, 42, following her highly publicised personal struggles. She is even said to be planning additional surgery to get herself looking her best ahead of what could be her third marriage. An insider told OK! magazine: 'Danniella feels that she's found her soulmate. Chasa doesn't judge her one bit and doesn't care what has happened in her past. 'He understands all about the issues she's been through but is supportive – he just wants to make her happy. 'She's really smitten and feels like she can trust him, which is a really big deal for her.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The TV star hinted that the romance was getting serious on Instagram where she shared snaps from her Greek getaway with Chasa. The pair reportedly began as friends, having known each other for six years, before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. This was confirmed by Chasa himself, who wrote on Instagram: 'Sometimes that one friend is just too good to let go.' According to the insider, Daniella has been praying for a happy relationship for a long time. They added: 'She is thinking about marriage and definitely wants to tie the knot with him, it's a no brainer for her and she's ready to commit fully.' Daniella was previously married to Ben Morgan between 1998 and 1999 and then Kevin Jenkins from 2001 to 2014. Her nasal septum famously collapsed in 2000 following excessive cocaine use and while she has had corrective surgery since then, she is said to be considering additional work ahead of any wedding. The claims come after Daniella said her life has 'changed dramatically' since her father passed away at the start of 2024. This tragedy enabled Daniella to 'pull herself back from the brink' again. She wrote on Instagram: 'I got myself back into recovery and [have] taken the right opportunities that have come and do come my way. 'I feel so grateful, blessed and useful.' Chasa, whose boxing name is the 'Croydon Bomber', is no stranger to the limelight even without Daniella and is signed to Conor McGregor's Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. He has also publicly spoken about his own addiction issues, revealing that drugs had led him 'down a dark road'. However, he is reported to have been in recovery now for several years.
