Danniella Westbrook says she wants to find 'true love' on reality dating show
Danniella Westbrook has admitted she is keen to find love again and wouldn't say no to taking part in one of the best known reality TV dating shows.
The former EastEnders star hasn't had the easiest love life and now she thinks she could do with a helping hand from the Celebs Go Dating agency when it comes to finding her next romantic partner.
Danniella, 51, is convinced a stint on the popular dating series could help her make sure her next partner is 'the real deal.' Danniella even went as far as to say she would "love" the chance to appear on the show to help fulfil her quest to find true love.

Speaking to Daily Star in collaboration with casino.org, Danniella said, 'I'd love to do Celebs Go Dating. I need to find true love. I thought I'd found it, but I was wrong.'
The actress also confirmed that she isn't looking for anything flashy, and would prefer to shy away from the glamour of celebrity life.
She continued, 'What kind of person would I like to be matched with? Someone with a job. Honestly, a good mate of mine, Danny, he's been in the industry for years doing hair.
"He's worked with huge celebrities like Cara Delevingne and loads of others. If you could find someone like my mate Dan, that would be perfect."
She then stressed the importance of having a strong work ethic - and being sober - as she added, 'He understands how tough this industry can be and has a solid work ethic. He's clean and sober, so he'd get where I'm coming from with my own lifestyle.'
Danniella has regularly opened up about her struggles with substance addiction in the past and her difficult road to sobriety. Now she is seeking a connection that isn't based on hunger for fame, or with someone looking to get a rise in life from her celebrity status.
She shared, 'I'd love to meet someone who's not a clout chaser, someone genuine who isn't obsessed with social media or has a massive ego. Just someone real, with a bit of drive.
"Someone who doesn't want to suddenly be an actor or go on Big Brother once you've lived with them, you know, suddenly they want to give up everything they're doing and become famous.'
Danniella confessed that having her heartbroken recently has made her feel more cautious about trying to find love, and that the negative experience did take its toll on her. But she hasn't been put off by the experience and is still keen to pursue new connections and just wants to find a "spark" again.
She said, 'When you get to 51, and you think you've found 'the one', like I thought I had not too long ago, and it doesn't work out, it knocks you a bit. So now, I'm just trying to find that spark and energy again.'

Mark Labbett, 60, 'dating stunning beautician' after The Chase star 'instantly connected' with her on Celebs Go Dating
The Chase's Mark Labbett is reportedly 'dating' a stunning beautician after he 'instantly connected' with her on Celebs Go Dating. Mark, 60, more commonly known as The Beast, signed up for the E4 series after he split from TV presenter Hayley Palmer. The 6ft 6in TV personality got close to 5ft 2in Deanne Perkins, 57, after they met on the show. The pair have quietly been seeing each other in recent weeks, according to reports. A source told The Sun: 'Mark and Deanne instantly connected and have been enjoying getting to know each other away from the cameras. 'Mark discovered a lot about himself through the coaching on the series.' Mark and Deanne have been enjoying time together at Banyers House Hotel in Royston, Hertfordshire. The source added that Mark is 'hoping that Deanne is The One for him'. Daily Mail has reached out to Mark's reps for comment. The Chase star and TV personality Hayley announced their break up in May 2024, days after their one-year anniversary, with Hayley claiming that he dumped her because he 'didn't want to divorce' his ex-wife Katie, who is also his second cousin. Mark is now back looking for love and will appear on the E4 show alongside the likes of Kerry Katona, 44, and Christine McGuinness, 37. Hayley told Daily Mail: 'A year later, I've been able to turn past trauma into something positive. I feel like I've done a lot of glowing up. I am in a really strong, happy place. Feeling very grounded'. Despite wishing Mark well and pointing out his 'wonderful qualities' Hayley said she had no intention of watching his hunt for Mrs Right, revealing she had moved on and was dating someone she 'saw having a future with'. Instead she said she was planning on using her past relationship experiences to help others: 'I'm currently in the process of writing a book and coaching others who have been through tough experiences and want to change their mindset'. Following their split Hayley claimed that she'd been left needing counselling for 'betrayal trauma' after being dumped in a three-minute phone call. She previously told Daily Mail that she 'never in a million years' imagined Mark, AKA the Best, would agree to appear on a dating show. But the presenter also said she was glad to see her ex following her example and starting a new life chapter, after she'd he time post break up 'pouring love and confidence' into herself. Hayley said: 'I never thought in a million years he'd go on a dating show after such a painful and public breakup'. She previously claimed Mark ended their romance because he didn't want to divorce ex, Katie, 32, with whom he shares seven-year-old son Lawrence. However despite her claims Mark told The Sun: 'She's [Hayley's] a lovely lady and I was very lucky to date her for a year, and as I me, I got old.' In 2020, Katie - who had been dating senior design engineer Scott Bate for 18 months at the time - and Mark split because their attempts at an open marriage failed. The Beast also blamed other factors, including their 27-year age gap, the Covid-19 lockdown and his own mental health, for their eventual split. Last year Hayley confessed to Daily Mail that she was forced to turn the TV channel over after seeing him on Loose Women as she admitted she found it 'triggering'. She said Mark 'lives up to his nickname' after 'blindsiding' her by brutally breaking-up with her over the phone. 'It was really upsetting seeing him pop up on my screen, and I had to turn over. I didn't expect it to feel like that. 'As the last time he was on there, I was sat beside him and we were speaking about celebrating our one year anniversary and then exactly one week later my world came crashing down.' She added: 'To be honest thinking about him with anyone just brings it all back.' Hayley explained she was taken aback by her feeling as she continued: 'It was triggering. I didn't think it would be as I have worked really hard on my mindset and have been in a good place.' Meanwhile The Best has has revealed he 'couldn't wait to leave' a recent date he went on because he didn't find the mystery woman 'attractive'. Speaking to BANG Showbiz at Celebs Go Dating launch party about his current dating life, Mark said: 'You never know who you're going to find, someone who you just get on with – that's the key thing. 'I won't say who, but there's been one situation I've met someone and I'm going, "I should find them really attractive", but instead I can't wait to get away. Asked if the woman was a celebrity, Mark responded: 'No comment.' Mark hopes to find his perfect match, with the help of the programme's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. Ironically, Mark said the experience of doing the show has taught him not to seek 'perfection'. He said: 'If you expect that from your partner, if she goes, "You don't do that", you can't get all stroppy. 'You can argue on the point of modern dating issues that you see someone who's this, this and this, and you go, reality check.'

This Morning star, 40, opens up about cancer scare after finding lump
This Morning host Josie Gibson has revealed her frightening ordeal after finding a 'large lump' on her breast. The TV presenter, 40, who rose to fame when she won the 2010 series of Big Brother, previously went under the knife to have 34D breast implants, having been a B cup before. However, Josie grew concerned when one of her breasts actually 'changed shape' due to the lump, which ultimately led to her having her implants removed. Speaking in a new interview, she recalled the 2023 health scare: 'I had a big lump underneath my left boob, and I was getting really worried about it. 'You could actually see it protruding—you could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened.' Josie made a GP appointment, and her doctor 'had a feel around', after which he found the issue was actually with her breast implant. 'I went and I had them out, and, for me, it was one of the best things I've done,' Josie declared to The Sun. After having her implants taken out, the star finally has 'peace of mind' and zero regrets. She's now also urging other women to help make breast cancer a less taboo topic, joining forces with charity Breast Cancer Now to raise awareness of the symptoms. 'We only ever talk about breast cancer when something bad happens. Let's make it part of the conversation.' Josie initially had a breast enlargement—and a nipple lift—after losing weight, having gone from a size 20 to a size 8 in the space of a year. Her physical transformation was well documented and highly publicised, as she spoke about adapting to a much stricter diet and hiring a personal trainer. In 2013, Josie also released a workout DVD called Josie Gibson: 30 Second Slim and, in 2014, published her book, The Josie Gibson Diet: Love Food, Get Slim, Stay Slim. Continuing on her healthy lifestyle journey, the following year, Josie launched a sought-after diet plan named Slimmables, which offered members a 14-day detox and progression to an 80/20 diet. However, speaking previously about shedding as much weight as she did, Josie, who was left in tears after cruel responses to her appearance in Big Brother, admitted that she's still never satisfied with her body. She told the Daily Mail last December: 'I've been, you know, over the years, you put so much stress on yourself—like I'm never happy, never happy. 'But now I'm just really busy, but I would like to lose a bit of timber, but I'm happy with myself. And that's the main thing.' 'It's like a home renovation, your body, isn't it? So I always need a little bit of progress. I always need to paint a room.' Josie is certain of one thing, though, and it's that, despite the rise of celebs taking Ozempic, she has no desire to try weight loss drugs or jabs. 'The thing is, I can understand, you know, when people get desperate and they want to do that,' she reasoned. More Trending 'But it wouldn't be for me, only because I don't want to mess around with my body. I like everything natural; I always go down the natural route.' Josie joined ITV's This Morning in 2019, initially as a competition announcer. In 2021, she began hosting the main show regularly, filling in for Holly Willoughby last minute and quickly winning the nation's hearts. A bone-chilling scream sends shivers in unexpected Coronation Street horror
Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine)'s first experience of being foster parents on Coronation Street hasn't been easy. They've been taking care of Shanice and Joanie Michaelis (Molly Kilduff and Savanna Pennington), after their parents Mick and Lou (Joe Layton and Farrel Hegarty) both ended up in prison. The girls had an unsettled life with their parents, with Mick often violent towards Lou. Mick's behaviour became worse after he discovered that their eldest child, son Brody (Ryan Mulvey), is actually the biological son of Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). A violent rampage which started with him beating up Lou and ended with him killing PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) meant that Mick will be in prison for many years. Soon afterwards, Lou was also jailed for a violent assault on Gary Windass (Mikey North). Against this turbulent backdrop, Sally and Tim have done their best to provide a safe and loving environment for the girls, but it's been a challenge. A trivial disagreement between Sally and Tim led to Shanice getting upset as it reminded her of the violent arguments she was used to witnessing. Then the two girls repeatedly fought with each other, with Joanie's behaviour sometimes turning very nasty. When she got upset and threw the TV remote at her little sister, Sally and Tim were shocked to see that Shanice had numerous bruises on her. They talked to Brody about it and he insisted that Shanice was being truthful when she said she'd fallen at school. He insisted the fight was a one-off and the sisters were usually fine with each other. Viewers knew that Brody was covering for the girls, as we've seen him previously warning his sisters to be on their best behaviour in case they're taken away from Sally and Tim. Brody's terrified that social services will try to split his siblings up and he's made it his mission to keep the family together. He recently planned to do a runner with Shanice and Joanie but was stopped by Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove). More Trending In upcoming episodes Tim hears about this plan from Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and he talks to Brody and tells him that social services only want what's best for the family. It's not the best time for a social worker and a psychologist to visit the family, but after talking to Sally and Tim they say that they're happy for the family to stay together with the Metcalfes.
