Mark Labbett, 60, 'dating stunning beautician' after The Chase star 'instantly connected' with her on Celebs Go Dating

The Chase's Mark Labbett is reportedly 'dating' a stunning beautician after he 'instantly connected' with her on Celebs Go Dating.
Mark, 60, more commonly known as The Beast, signed up for the E4 series after he split from TV presenter Hayley Palmer.
The 6ft 6in TV personality got close to 5ft 2in Deanne Perkins, 57, after they met on the show.
The pair have quietly been seeing each other in recent weeks, according to reports.
A source told The Sun: 'Mark and Deanne instantly connected and have been enjoying getting to know each other away from the cameras.
'Mark discovered a lot about himself through the coaching on the series.'
Mark and Deanne have been enjoying time together at Banyers House Hotel in Royston, Hertfordshire.
The source added that Mark is 'hoping that Deanne is The One for him'.
Daily Mail has reached out to Mark's reps for comment.
The Chase star and TV personality Hayley announced their break up in May 2024, days after their one-year anniversary, with Hayley claiming that he dumped her because he 'didn't want to divorce' his ex-wife Katie, who is also his second cousin.
Mark is now back looking for love and will appear on the E4 show alongside the likes of Kerry Katona, 44, and Christine McGuinness, 37.
Hayley told Daily Mail: 'A year later, I've been able to turn past trauma into something positive. I feel like I've done a lot of glowing up. I am in a really strong, happy place. Feeling very grounded'.
Despite wishing Mark well and pointing out his 'wonderful qualities' Hayley said she had no intention of watching his hunt for Mrs Right, revealing she had moved on and was dating someone she 'saw having a future with'.
Instead she said she was planning on using her past relationship experiences to help others: 'I'm currently in the process of writing a book and coaching others who have been through tough experiences and want to change their mindset'.
Following their split Hayley claimed that she'd been left needing counselling for 'betrayal trauma' after being dumped in a three-minute phone call.
She previously told Daily Mail that she 'never in a million years' imagined Mark, AKA the Best, would agree to appear on a dating show.
But the presenter also said she was glad to see her ex following her example and starting a new life chapter, after she'd he time post break up 'pouring love and confidence' into herself.
Hayley said: 'I never thought in a million years he'd go on a dating show after such a painful and public breakup'.
She previously claimed Mark ended their romance because he didn't want to divorce ex, Katie, 32, with whom he shares seven-year-old son Lawrence.
However despite her claims Mark told The Sun: 'She's [Hayley's] a lovely lady and I was very lucky to date her for a year, and as I said...it's me, I got old.'
In 2020, Katie - who had been dating senior design engineer Scott Bate for 18 months at the time - and Mark split because their attempts at an open marriage failed.
The Beast also blamed other factors, including their 27-year age gap, the Covid-19 lockdown and his own mental health, for their eventual split.
Last year Hayley confessed to Daily Mail that she was forced to turn the TV channel over after seeing him on Loose Women as she admitted she found it 'triggering'.
She said Mark 'lives up to his nickname' after 'blindsiding' her by brutally breaking-up with her over the phone.
'It was really upsetting seeing him pop up on my screen, and I had to turn over. I didn't expect it to feel like that.
'As the last time he was on there, I was sat beside him and we were speaking about celebrating our one year anniversary and then exactly one week later my world came crashing down.'
She added: 'To be honest thinking about him with anyone just brings it all back.'
Hayley explained she was taken aback by her feeling as she continued: 'It was triggering. I didn't think it would be as I have worked really hard on my mindset and have been in a good place.'
Meanwhile The Best has has revealed he 'couldn't wait to leave' a recent date he went on because he didn't find the mystery woman 'attractive'.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at Celebs Go Dating launch party about his current dating life, Mark said: 'You never know who you're going to find, someone who you just get on with – that's the key thing.
'I won't say who, but there's been one situation I've met someone and I'm going, "I should find them really attractive", but instead I can't wait to get away.
Asked if the woman was a celebrity, Mark responded: 'No comment.'
Mark hopes to find his perfect match, with the help of the programme's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
Ironically, Mark said the experience of doing the show has taught him not to seek 'perfection'.
He said: 'If you expect that from your partner, if she goes, "You don't do that", you can't get all stroppy.
'You can argue on the point of modern dating issues that you see someone who's this, this and this, and you go, reality check.'

Make-up whizz leaves people stunned after showing how she can ‘lose' half a stone with just THREE products

A MAKE-UP whizz has left people stunned after showing how she can make herself look half a stone lighter through the clever application of just three products. Sam is skilled when it comes to her cosmetic application, and has figured out where to place her products to dramatically alter look. 3 In a video on her TikTok page, Sam began by applying a bronzer stick high on her cheekbone on one side of her face - the side that would show her looking almost half a stone (3kg) lighter. On the other side, she put it under the cheekbone. Blusher was next, as Sam put it above the bronzer on the -3kg side, the left, before putting it on the apple of her cheek on the other. She finished off with concealer. On the left she put a horizontal line from the corner of her mouth, and another from the side of her nostril. She then put it under the corner of her inner eye, and underneath the wing. On the other side, she applied a generous amount of concealer in a triangle shape beneath the eye. Sam then blended the make-up together, and showed just how different the application positions made her look. Unsurprisingly, the comments section was filled with people stunned by Sam's make-up talent. "Power of make up," one wrote. I tried the viral '53 method' to banish my 'chins' without going under the knife and the results were astonishing "It's crazy, make-up is magic," another said. "Witch! Looks amazing!" a third praised. "Wow the power of make-up," someone else said. "The +3kg make up looks better on you," another commented. "The +3kg look is much more charming, more human, and warm," someone else said. "The -3kg look is plastic, and cold." Top 3 beauty products every woman should be using Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook shared the holy-grail products every woman needs to be using. A cleanser, SPF, and hair oil are must-haves within beauty routines. A cleanser is crucial for healthy skin as it removes dirt, oil, and other impurities for flawless skin. This skincare step not only cleanses the face and removes dirt, but also prevents breakouts and premature skin ageing, helping you maintain a healthy, youthful, and blemish-free complexion. The Aveeno Face Calm+ Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is a go-to of mine due to its gentle formula that soothes and restores the skin's appearance and texture. SPF is non-negotiable and should be in everyone's daily skincare routine. Even on cooler, cloudier days, our skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays which can be harmful to unprotected skin and even lead to damage. These damages include sunburn, pigmentation changes, and wrinkles which can impact the skin's texture and appearance. In some cases, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause skin cancer. Applying SPF daily prevents these damages and protects the skin from harmful rays. I recommend the Beauty Of Joseon Rice & Prebiotic Sunscreen PA++++ SPF50+ for its lightweight, non-clumping texture that absorbs quickly for a natural finish and maximum protection. Hair oil has many benefits and should be regularly used. This treatment can strengthen and protect the hair from external stressors while improving its appearance and shine. Regularly applying hair oil can also reduce breakage and even encourage hair growth for longer, fuller locks. Hair oils also target the scalp, reducing dandruff and improving its health through exfoliation. I recommend using this deeply nourishing treatment a couple of times a week or more depending on the hair's moisture levels. The Hair Syrup Rapunzel Pre-Wash Oil Treatment is a nutrient-rich treatment that revitalises strands to promote a happy scalp and healthy-looking locks. Apply the syrup throughout damp hair before washing; massage from root to tip and allow the formula to penetrate strands before rinsing and styling. However, others insisted the only reason Sam looked so different on either side of her face was because the two sides were different in the first place. "It's not just make-up," one insisted. "Her face is different on each side!" "Wait no this is asymmetrical facial features," another wrote, adding: "That really had my brain in a twist for a solid minute!" "It's the position of the heavy eye liner on the left," a third insisted. "Wait is it just me or is one eye higher than the other?" someone else asked. "No hate though! You're really pretty!"

BBCNOW/Bancroft/Grosvenor review – from the brilliantly bonkers to heavyweight Shostakovich

The BBC National Orchestra of Wales's second Royal Albert Hall date this summer opened with the kind of thing UK audiences only really hear at the Proms: Sofia Gubaidulina's Revue Music for Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band, written in 1976. It's not what you'd have expected from this serious, intense, spiritually driven composer, who died earlier this year – or, to be honest, from any other composer. It opens in atmospheric, modern-classical style, ominous bells against high, tense strings. Then it explodes into funky bass guitar and brass, driving drum kit and the Star Trek-like ahhing of a close-miked vocal trio – here it was Synergy Vocals – and it's as if the stage has been taken over by Magnum PI. Gubaidulina pits these two musics against each other, with the jazz-funk periodically dissolving into snatches of Mahlerian melody and translucent orchestral stillness – at one point a few lines of poetry are spoken on top, amid an aura of whispers from the orchestral players. Finally, there's a slow splurge of Bond theme-ish excess – brilliantly bonkers, and the Albert Hall loved it. A quick recalibration of the ears was required for Ravel's G major Piano Concerto, Benjamin Grosvenor the quicksilver soloist. His playing brought out the bluesiness of Ravel's music, especially in the slow movement, where the tender, meandering melody sounded a split-second out from the accompaniment, as if it were being delivered by a singer perched on a stool in a jazz club. Every note was clear, even as the conductor Ryan Bancroft romped through ever-faster tempos in the finale – and that also went for Grosvenor's encore, the finale of Prokofiev's Sonata No 7, three glorious minutes of ferocious edge-of-the-seat brilliance. The second half was less crowd-pleasing, if still powerful. Shostakovich's 1962 Symphony No 13 employs a bass-baritone soloist and men's choir to give voice first to a harrowing response to the Holocaust massacre at Babi Yar near Kyiv and then to four other darkly subversive poems about Russia. Bancroft had the orchestra playing with pointed character, and the men of the BBC National Chorus of Wales delivered line after Russian line excellently, but for all his velvety, cavernous bass tone the Lithuanian soloist Kostas Smoriginas needed more swagger in this huge space. Perhaps the work itself travels less well than Shostakovich's other symphonies; certainly, it was a heavy counterweight to a kaleidoscopic first half. Listen again on BBC Sounds until 12 October. The Proms continue until 13 September
