Ashton Jeanty on the Broncos would be a no-doubt 1st round fantasy pick | Yahoo Fantasy Forecast Andy Behrens & Matt Harmon discuss where incoming rookie RB Ashton Jeanty might fit in the upcoming NFL season. Matt explains why the Boise State Bronco should be a Denver Bronco and how his fit in the Sean Payton offense would make him a no-doubt pick for fantasy managers in the first round. Hear the full conversation on the 'Yahoo Fantasy Forecast' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. Advertisement View more Video Transcript So this is my one last candle lit. This is my one last, you know, uh, freaking crystal that I gotta hold on to, my one last manifestation here. Ashton Jeanty, the Denver Broncos. Sean Payton, that, that man hates extra picks even more than Ryan Pauls does. Get up the draft board. You want to do it. I want you to do it. Everybody wants you to do it. It would have a high approval rating. Let's get Ashton Jeanty to this Denver Broncos offense that was really good last year at creating yards for their running backs, and their running backs were god awful in terms of creating yards for themselves. Advertisement Ashton Jeanty is a tackle breaker. He would be the central figure of this offense. I mean, it's just a beautiful fit. He barely has to move. Come on, Ashton Jeanty, the Denver Broncos. I get it, Andy. You are a biased, compromise source here. The, the Boise State Bronco becomes a Denver Bronco. We should all want it to happen. It's a, it's a great fit. Um, Denver is surely going to come away from this draft with um one of the, one of its more exciting running backs. Um, we, we just don't know exactly who it's going to be. Love the fit. Um, I think Ashton Jeanty. As a Denver Bronco fantasy first rounder, late first round, um, I'm not going to bat an eye if it happens. Advertisement Uh, it's a definite possibility. A little, little part of me worries that they would still give, you know, 25% of the snaps to Jaleel McLaughlin and, uh, find a role for Audric Estime and, and do the usual Sean Payton things, right? It's not gonna be. I don't know, we don't, we don't see a lot of that. We don't, uh, like we, we haven't seen a lot of Sean Payton just saying, OK, you're my guy, you're getting 95% of the snaps if you have to come out for a play or two fine, but otherwise you're getting it all. Um, but you could do that with Ashton Jeanty, and I think we're gonna talk ourselves into it. Advertisement And I think if he lands here, um, if he lands Chicago, there's a handful of places where he can go, where I think Ashton Jeanty is gonna be like seriously in the conversation as like a, I don't know, 9th overall pick, 10th overall pick in fantasy. Uh, top 3 consensus backs in fantasy right now. Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs. I don't think he touches, uh, that range. Derrick Henry, running back 4, probably not gonna go ahead of him. But like Devon Achane at 5, that's on my radar about the Dolphins could add it back at some point. Um, a lot of like fake, like a lot of like reception nonsense that boosted his fantasy scoring last year. Advertisement I'm ready to start the conversation right there. Bucky Irving, Jonathan Taylor, Josh Jacobs, Christian McCaffrey, like, yeah, that's, that's the conversation we're having with Ashton Jeanty If he's a, if he's a Bear or a Bronco, I'm ready to have that conversation.

Shannon Sharpe's ex-girlfriend reveals horrifying threats he made after alleged 2010 rape
A former girlfriend of embattled NFL legend Shannon Sharpe claimed their decade-long relationship ended with a restraining order after the Hall of Famer allegedly raped and threatened to ruin her if she ever spoke out, according to a previously undisclosed 2023 lawsuit. Michele Bundy Evans filed a $4 million defamation lawsuit against Sharpe for divulging their ongoing legal dispute on television after news broke that she filed a restraining order accusing him of sexual assault and stalking for the September 2010 incident, according to court documents obtained by The US Sun. The resurfaced accusations come just days after another woman, identified in court docs as Jane Doe, accused Sharpe of rape in a $50 million civil lawsuit — allegations the 56-year-old has repeatedly denied. 3 Shannon Sharpe's relationship with an ex-girlfriend ended with a restraining order, according to a previously undisclosed 2023 lawsuit. The defamation lawsuit filed by the scorned ex alleged that Evans and Sharpe were arguing when the football star forced his sweetheart of nearly 10 years to her knees and sexually assaulted her before raping her. Evans claimed she sought legal protection after the former Denver Bronco hurled threats of 'ruin' if she ever publicly disclosed the disturbing incident, according to the suit. The restraining order was dropped shortly after it was filed, CBS reported, with Evans claiming she was harassed at home with her daughter over her decision to go after her former beau. Sharpe's legal team refuted Evans' lawsuit, which is pending, as 'nonsense.' 'Michelle Evans' claims are ridiculous and completely without merit,' Vincent Morris, Sharpe's attorney, told The Post Thursday night. 'She could not find a lawyer to take her case and if you read her complaint, you'll see it is filled with nonsense. Shannon has had no contact with her for many years and we understand that she is still on probation after serving three years in prison.' Evans, who was jailed for a 2017 domestic incident with her alleged abusive husband, now fears for Sharpe's latest accuser, who filed her lawsuit on Sunday in a Nevada state court. 3 Sharpe took a temporary leave from ESPN's 'First Take' after sexual assault allegations surfaced. Getty Images 'I want people to understand what Shannon did to this woman, by doxing her, by putting out her name, by putting out her OnlyFans account,' she told the Sun. 'That was horrifying, because things are going to happen to her because of that. I still get it to this day, and I went through a lot of things, as you can see in the complaint, that actually even stemmed from it.' The latest lawsuit alleged Sharpe committed assault, sexual assault, battery, sexual battery and engaged in the intentional infliction of emotional distress during a 'rocky consensual relationship' that lasted nearly two years with a woman more than 30 years younger than him. The woman's legal team has released a pair of audio clips that are said to be of Sharpe telling the Jane Doe that he would 'choke' her. 3 Sharpe's legal team called Michele Bundy Evans' lawsuit 'nonsense.' Getty Images for SiriusXM Sharpe's lawyers have pushed back on the claims, alleging that the pair had been in a consensual relationship that involved 'role-playing' and 'fantasy.' The ESPN 'First Take' star, who is also accused of threatening to kill the woman multiple times and sexually assaulting her in 2024 and 2025, announced his temporary leave from the sports network Thursday. 'My statement is found here and this is the truth. The relationship in question was 100% consensual,' Sharpe, who was also a Baltimore Raven, wrote in a statement posted to social media. 'At this juncture I am electing to step aside temporarily from my ESPN duties. I will be devoting this time to my family, and responding and dealing with these false and disruptive allegations set against me. I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason.' ESPN, in a statement to The Post, said the network agreed with Sharpe's decision to step away.

Shannon Sharpe Breaks His Silence and Blames This Man for His $50 Million Lawsuit
While the sports community continues to reel from a bombshell sexual assault lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe, the sports commentator is finally speaking out in his own words. Sharpe took to social media to address the sexual assault suit filed by his ex-girlfriend, and he seemed to have one important message. On Instagram, Sharpe claimed the suit filed is a total 'shakedown.' He continued in the Tuesday post promising to 'be open, transparent and defend myself because this isn't right.' Sharpe went on to say he believes there's one man at the center of the civil suit, and that's Texas attorney Tony Buzbee. 'This is all being orchestrated by Tony Buzbee, who has targeted Jay-Z. Tony Buzbee targets Black men,' Sharpe claimed. As The Root previously reported Buzbee represented a different Jane Doe in a civil lawsuit against Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter and Sean 'Diddy' Combs. The suit was ultimately dropped with prejudice in February. The former Denver Bronco went on to claim Buzbee set his sights on him soon after the case against Hov was dropped. 'I believe he's going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty, and plays into every stereotype you could possibly imagine,' he said. Several hours before the ESPN commentator pulled the race card on Instagram, his legal team leaked a series of text messages allegedly between Sharpe and the victim. In the messages, Doe, who Sharpe's attorney identifies as Gabriella Zuniga, allegedly writes for Sharpe to 'put a big black baby in me' among other things. As we previously reported, the internet was mixed with reactions. He continued on Instagram daring Buzbee to 'put the whole video out' before adding 'I don't have it, or I would myself.' The NFL alumn then accused Buzbee of 'trying to manipulate the media.' Clearly blaming the suit on the Texas lawyer, Sharpe said his accuser and 'Tony Buzbee want $50 million. What they're getting is sued for defamation.' Jay-Z took a similar route against the Buzbee. Sharpe's social post comes on the heels of Buzbee and his team sharing an audio clip in which Doe tells Sharpe 'don't manipulate me.' That's when he allegedly says 'Lord have mercy. If you say that word one more time, I will f*****g choke the s**t out of you when I see you. Thank you,' according to Page Six. On first page of the complaint obtained by the New York Post, Zuniga's lawyers wrote, 'A woman can say 'yes' to consensual sexual relations with a man ninety-nine times, but when she says 'no' even once, that 'no' means no.' She is seeking $50 million in his suit against the sports star. For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Watch Shannon Sharpe welcome his brother, Sterling, to Hall of Fame
One of the best moments of Super Bowl weekend is always 'The Knock,' the moment when new Pro Football Hall of Fame members are welcomed into the exclusive fraternity. For former Denver Bronco and current resident of the Hall of Fame Shannon Sharpe, this year's 'knock' was a special and historic one. Shannon welcomed his brother, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, to the club. 'Welcome bro,' said Shannon to Sterling, 'to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.' The brothers then shared a long embrace. 'To have this moment — I've had some great moments, trust me,' Shannon said. 'I'm in the Pro Football Hall of Fame; Super Bowls, All-Pros, what I have going on now in my professional life, this is the proudest moment of my life.' 'I'm happy man, 'cuz I finally get to follow you at something,' said Sterling. Shannon and Sterling are the first brothers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Sterling played for the Green Bay Packers from 1988-1994, amassing 8,134 receiving yards, 65 touchdowns, starting all 112 games he played in during his career. Sterling, Shannon's older brother, tragically had his career cut short due to a neck injury. Shannon long admired his brother, even giving Sterling his first Super Bowl ring (Super Bowl XXXII). Sterling was Shannon's presenter for the Hall of Fame when the former Bronco was inducted into Canton in 2011. You can watch the Sharpe brothers' emotional moment below.
