The accident occurred Saturday morning on U.S. Highway 75 near Richardson, Texas, a suburb within the greater Dallas area. Richardson police responded to the crash just before 5 a.m. where only one vehicle was present at the scene. A call that was later confirmed to be from the former Cowboy came in around 5:39 a.m., informing authorities that he had been involved in a crash with a motorcycle. Joseph, a current member of the DC Defenders of the UFL, was selected by the Cowboys in Round 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft.
