In a strategic push to enhance road safety and digital driving experiences in India, global digital mapping firm HERE Technologies and Indian geospatial solutions major Genesys International have announced a collaboration to build next-generation in-car navigation systems . The initiative aims to reduce distracted driving by integrating advanced mapping, real-time traffic updates, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) into vehicles. With over 80,000 road fatalities annually in India—more than 3,000 of which are attributed to mobile phone use—the partnership is focused on delivering intelligent, safety-driven solutions.
