As per the first-day advance booking report shared by Sacnilk at 10 AM, the film is showing promising numbers, indicating that moviegoers are eagerly awaiting its arrival in theaters. The advance booking statistics suggest a strong opening, especially in the Hindi-speaking regions. Mohit Suri Spills On 20 Years In Bollywood - Ahaan & Aneet, Alia Bhatt Dream Collab & More The Saiyaara first-day advance gross stands at Rs 86,57,587 (approximately 86.58 Lac). This gross figure reflects the total revenue generated from advance bookings across multiple regions. The number of tickets sold, as per the report, is 28,532, which further underscores the growing anticipation for the film. Currently, the booking has opened for about 1950 shows. The film has also generated a good block booking for itself -its number is currently hovering around Rs 1.33 crore - thus taking the overall advance booking of the film to Rs 2.20 crore. The film is still two days away from release and going by the trend, it has all the potential to become the biggest opening day collection for a film with newcomers. The record is currently held by Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor 's debut film Dhadak, which had an opening day collection of Rs 8.5 crore. One also needs to factor in that the makers of Saiyaara are offering 50 % discount until Rs 200 on booking of 2 tickets or more for the opening day. So one needs to take the total collection of the film with a pinch of salt as how much is the original amount and how much is discounted While there are 7 other films releasing on 18th July- Saiyaara has the strongest chance of shining but it will face resistance for past releases like Aamir Khan 's Sitaare Zameen Par, Rajkummar Rao 's Maalik, Scarlett Johansson 's Jurassic Park: Rebirth and Brad Pitt 's F1.

Siddhant Chaturvedi says he wants to ‘disrupt the market' with diverse roles; Triptii Dimri credits their friendship for chemistry in Dhadak 2

The much-awaited romantic drama Dhadak 2 is all set to hit the screens, and fans can't stop talking about the intense chemistry between Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Their performances in the trailer have already created a buzz, with many praising their on-screen connection. Speaking about her experience working with Siddhant, Triptii said that they got along well from the very beginning. She credited their director, Shazia Iqbal, for helping the actors form a strong bond before the cameras even rolled. 'We had become quite good friends right from the very first day, and all the credit for that goes to our director, Shazia Iqbal,' Triptii told ANI. 'She organised a workshop for us in a format where all the actors interacted, played games for about 5-6 days, and tried to understand each other. I think when that happens, you don't need to try and force chemistry. You actually become friends, and that's what happened in our case,' she added. In the same interaction, Siddhant opened up about the choices he makes as an actor and how he doesn't want to limit himself to just one kind of role. He said, 'I always work on playing a different character every time. We enjoy it as actors. It's not like if people like you in a certain character, you just stick to doing that. Because if that were the case, I would have kept doing similar roles even after my first film.' 'But I always think that I want to do different kinds of roles. As a person, as an actor, I want to grow. So, the effort is always to find a new character, because doing the same thing again doesn't bring joy,' he added. 'I feel like if you keep doing one kind of role, something you're known for, then you build a market for yourself. But as far as I am concerned, I've come to disrupt the market, not just build it. I want to break that. Every time, I want to appeal to a different age group, a different gender, different regions, demographics,' he further said. The trailer for Dhadak 2 was unveiled last week, giving fans a glimpse of how Siddhant and Triptii fight for their love and life in a promising film that tackles caste discrimination. It also highlights themes of identity, power dynamics, and the painful emotional cost of love. The film follows Siddhant's character as he navigates a love story that breaks through societal expectations and class barriers. Dhadak 2 is a follow-up to 2018's Dhadak and a remake of filmmaker Mari Selvaraj's 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.
