Time Out Market Dubai's Wine Market is back in 2025
One of the most in-demand events at Time Out Market Dubai is returning for its fourth year. The foodie hotspot, which is never short on atmosphere, is hosting its three-day Wine Market event in partnership with African and Eastern, and it's time to grab your tickets. If you love your barrel- and bottle-aged bevs (at a fantastic price), this is not an event you want to miss, with three hours of tastings featuring bottles from all over the world, priced from Dhs250 per person. Taking place from Tuesday May 27 to Thursday May 29, the event is now in its fourth annual outing and will once again offer a curated showcase of the best grapes from around the world. Here is everything you can expect… At the grape-focused event, you will have the opportunity to interact with grape experts and producers as they share with you a curated selection of over 400 grape varieties, including 60+ fine grapes from more than 15 countries across 30 different themes. A range of immersive tasting experiences will be available, from sommelier-led fine grape tastings at the stage area to the blind tasting zone, where guests can test their palates with mystery blends for a chance to win a bottle of something special. Over at the Fountain Bar, mixed drinks enthusiasts can enjoy creative grape-inspired mixed drinks crafted by mixologists from African + Eastern and bartenders from Time Out Market Dubai. Two ticket categories are available, including gold tickets, priced at Dhs499, which include fine and rare grape, plus you get a Dhs99 food voucher that you can redeem at any of the Time Out Market Dubai's 17 vendors. The standard tickets, priced at Dhs250 offer unlimited tasting of premium grapes. A new addition this year is The Grape Club Exclusive Experience, which for an extra Dhs49, will get you a 25-minute grape-tasting session at the Editor's Table hosted by The Graft Collab. This year, Time Out Market Dubai introduces a new experience as part of the event: Wine & Dine – Grape Market Edition, a three-night exclusive dinner series held at the Editor's Table from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Brunch review: Golden Ticket Brunch in Dubai
If your kid's idea of a good day out is an afternoon packed with sweets, chocolates and marshmallows (duh), then this is one for your gang. You'll feel as if you've won the golden ticket, quite literally. Inspired by Willy Wonka and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Golden Ticket Brunch at Fairmont The Palm is one family event where we advise you to embrace the oh-so-sweet theme from the start. Quell those sugar crash fears and dive right in. Whether you've seen the film, read the book or not, you probably have an idea of what you've in for. (Credit: Instagram @fairmontthepalm) There's a chocolate fountain (not quite a river like the story, but that's probably for the best, we don't want an Augustus Gloop-style incident after all), candyfloss, toffee apples, cakes, cookies and more – even a pick and mix bar. Who doesn't love one of those, whatever your age? Each table is also appropriately dressed for the occasion, with a sweet centrepiece comprising of a jar of marshmallows to graze on throughout the day. Good luck with getting them to eat their greens after that, however. You've been warned. Aside from the plethora of treats, the food on the whole is of decent quality. Salmon encroute, roast beef, pasta, curry etc – all the usual suspects are there. The sushi station and raw bar is a highlight, as is the cheese table (it's tucked away, so don't miss it). It's been a while since Fairmont's all-day dining spot Flow Kitchen has hosted a brunch and it's back in full swing. For a light, bright and airy atmosphere, opt for a seat on the terrace soaked in sunshine (the indoor area can be rather dark). Service and price points are around what you'd expect for the brunch, too. (Credit: Instagram @fairmontthepalm) A roaming magician will flummox the little ones, while there's a ribbon twirler, live singer and bubbles, too. There are no shows here as at other family brunches, but there's plenty to while away a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. A sweet factory-themed brunch is always going to mean it's treat day, so settle in and have some fun. Once everyone's eaten and smiling (as they will be) it's time to depart happy and full (and hope to avoid the danger nap on the way home). A golden ticket, indeed.
