EDGE and E&E Emirates announce strategic collaboration to promote secure communications at IDEX 2025 - Middle East Business News and Information
The partnership between Katem, a subsidiary of EDGE Group, and E&E UAE focuses on driving innovation in ultra-secure communications solutions.
Abu Dhabi,February 2025: Katem, the leading developer of innovative, ultra-secure and data protection solutions and part of EDGE Group, today announced a collaboration with E&E&E, the telecommunications arm of E&E Group, to work together to enhance the security of resilient critical communications technology.
The two companies signed the agreement on the sidelines of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2025, currently taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), reflecting their shared commitment to the development of secure and flexible communications technology.
As part of the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to further develop and integrate the X3M ultra-secure smart phone muffler, use the gateways to improve data protection, and implement the X4 secure silencer application, with the aim of providing an additional level of encrypted connectivity capabilities.

Attendees at IDEX 2025 can visit EDGE and its portfolio at stand C20 in Hall 5 and outdoor stand CP-270 within the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre until 21 February 2025.
