Perambalur police personnel imparted training in digital fingerprint collection system
Police constables in Perambalur district were imparted training in digital fingerprint collection system recently. The training was provided by the personnel of the Single Digit Fingerprint Bureau in the district.
The training was meant for Station Writers and CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems) Constables serving in different police stations. The Digital Fingerprint Collection System devices had been provided to every police station in the district.
The ways of lifting fingerprints of accused through the digital system, its features and the ways of using the devices were explained to the participants during the training held at the District Police Office. The programme was organised under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Perambalur, Adarsh Pachera, a police press release said.
