Colorado football offers Wisconsin committed 2026 defensive lineman
Colorado football extended an offer to class of 2026 defensive lineman and Wisconsin commit Djidjou Bah on Friday. Bah committed to the Badgers on June 1 but seems to be open to a possible change of heart after visiting Missouri on June 20. The Buffaloes became the 25th program to offer the three-star lineman. 247Sports ranks Bah as the No. 92 defensive lineman in the class of 2026 and the No. 21 recruit from his home state of Tennessee. Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders have been after multiple committed prospects recently as the program tries to boost its 80th-ranked class. According to Bah's offer announcement, Colorado's defensive line coach, Domata Peko, is Bah's primary contact, which could go a long way towards a possible flip. Peko was one of the better defensive linemen during his era, and the idea of playing for him was a definite lure for recruits. Follow Charlie Strella on X, Threads and Instagram. Wisconsin football key class of 2026 commit visits an SEC program
Wisconsin commit Djidjou Bah took an official to Mizzou over the weekend and talks about his time with the players, staff, and why he likes the Tigers' defensive scheme.(VIP) Wisconsin may have some competition to retain one of its current class of 2026 commits. That is three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, who took an official visit to Missouri over the weekend. Bah committed to the Badgers on June 1 after his official visit to the program. He then canceled his upcoming trips to Big Ten rivals Iowa, Indiana and Michigan State, according to 247Sports. Missouri swooped in with a late offer on June 19, immediately before hosting the defensive lineman on an official visit. Wisconsin still holds the lineman's commitment as of June 24, plus 247Sports has yet to issue any predictions for a flipped commitment. Still, his visit to the Tigers is a notable development. The recruiting service currently ranks the Germantown, Tennessee, native as the No. 853 overall player in the class of 2026, the No. 87 defensive lineman and the No. 23 recruit from his home state. Those rankings have all risen dramatically from the date he committed to the Badgers (No. 152 defensive lineman, No. 61 recruit from Tennessee). Bah's recruitment will be worth monitoring as the summer months continue. He's a key piece of a Wisconsin class of 2026 that currently ranks No. 40 nationally with 13 players committed. As of June 24, he and three-star Arthur Scott are the only two defensive linemen pledged to the Badgers. Bah is by far the higher-ranked player of the two, plus he is the second-highest-ranked of Wisconsin's 13 current commits. Wisconsin has already lost one commit to an SEC program -- three-star edge rusher Carmelow Reed to Ole Miss. The program would do well to retain Bah through the early-December signing period. MSU target, 3-star DL Djidjou Bah commits to Wisconsin following official visit
MSU target, 3-star DL Djidjou Bah commits to Wisconsin following official visit Another Michigan State target in the 2026 class has elected to go elsewhere for his college ball. Three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah of Germantown, Tenn. announced his commitment to Wisconsin on Sunday night. The Badgers commitment from Bah was announced via a post on social media platform X, and came after his weekend official visit to Wisconsin. Bah holds a recruiting rating of 85 on 247Sports, and ranks as the No. 110 defensive lineman in the class. He is also listed as the No. 32 player from Tennessee and No. 1081 overall player in the country. Michigan State was recently named on of Bah's finalists, along with Wisconsin, Indiana, NC State, Northwestern, Georgia Tech, Iowa and Memphis. The Spartans were scheduled to have Bah take an official visit on June 20, but we can preassumably expect that visit to be cancelled with this commitment to the Badgers. A few other of the Spartans' targets in the 2026 class announced commitments to Big Ten schools on Sunday. Michigan State picked up a pair of commitments following this weekend's opening slate of official visits: linebacker Braylon Hodge and defensive back Brayden Thomas. Wisconsin Recruiting Heats Up with Commitment from Bah
Wisconsin Recruiting Heats Up with Commitment from Bah originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After a slow start to building its 2026 recruiting class, the Wisconsin football program is starting to heat up. Using momentum during official visits, the Badgers are starting to add players to their class. Advertisement One of those players is defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, out of Germantown, Tennessee. The 6-3, 253-pound defensive lineman is considered a 3-star prospect according to 247Sports. Bah picked the Badgers over a handful of Power 4 teams, including Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern, and more. He announced his commitment to Wisconsin on social media. While Bah is listed as a defensive lineman on the recruiting site, Bah's primary recruiter from the Badgers is linebackers coach Matt Mitchell. It may not mean anything, but it could also be an indicator that the Badgers are looking to use Bah as an edge rusher rather than a defensive lineman. Advertisement The Badgers already have Carmelow Reed in the class, who is also listed as a defensive lineman, but the Badgers are looking to use him as an edge rusher. Reed's commitment to the Badgers, however, may be in question after he took a visit to Ole Miss over the weekend. Bah was scheduled to take his visit before the Reed news broke. But now, Bah's commitment is looking like solid insurance for the Badgers. With the addition of Bah, the Badgers' 2026 class now stands at 10 committed players. Stay tuned, because there are likely to be more commitments in the near future. Related: Badger Commit Flirting with Rebels? Interview with Wisconsin football top class of 2026 defensive line target Djidjou Bah
Interview with Wisconsin football top class of 2026 defensive line target Djidjou Bah Wisconsin football class of 2026 target, three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, released his list of eight finalists on Friday. The Badgers made the cut, along with Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Georgia Tech, and Memphis. 247Sports ranks Bah as the No. 148th defensive lineman in the class and the No. 60 recruit from Tennessee. He has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin on May 30, Iowa on June 6, Indiana on June 13 and Michigan State on June 20, plus already completed one to Northwestern. The recruiting service has yet to release a prediction for his commitment decision. Wisconsin's class of 2026 currently ranks No. 44 nationally with seven players committed. The three-star lineman is one of the program's high-priority targets at the position, especially after King Liggins' commitment to Illinois. Bah caught up with Badgers Wire after releasing his list of finalists. Here is what he had to say about his recruitment and interest in the Badgers: BW: You hold offers from Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, and Wisconsin. What stands out to you about the Big Ten and was playing in the conference a priority for you during your recruitment? Bah: The Big Ten is the best conference in football, in my opinion. To have the opportunity to play in the Big Ten is a blessing. I do want to play in a top tier conference like the Big Ten or SEC during my college career. BW: Where do you see yourself fitting in with the Badgers? Bah: I see myself fitting in a four-man front and also playing the three technique. BW: What is one area of your game you're looking to improve? Bah: I am focused on improving my hand placement and playing more with my hands, while also having a lower pad level. BW: Do you have a biggest influence in football whether that be a parent, player, or just someone who got you interested in the sport? Bah: My biggest influence is my entire family, their input in where I decide to go means a lot. BW: Do you have a potential time you are looking to commit? Bah: I'll be committing sometime in June or July.
