Interview with Wisconsin football top class of 2026 defensive line target Djidjou Bah
Wisconsin football class of 2026 target, three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, released his list of eight finalists on Friday. The Badgers made the cut, along with Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Georgia Tech, and Memphis.
247Sports ranks Bah as the No. 148th defensive lineman in the class and the No. 60 recruit from Tennessee. He has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin on May 30, Iowa on June 6, Indiana on June 13 and Michigan State on June 20, plus already completed one to Northwestern. The recruiting service has yet to release a prediction for his commitment decision.
Wisconsin's class of 2026 currently ranks No. 44 nationally with seven players committed. The three-star lineman is one of the program's high-priority targets at the position, especially after King Liggins' commitment to Illinois.
Bah caught up with Badgers Wire after releasing his list of finalists. Here is what he had to say about his recruitment and interest in the Badgers:
BW: You hold offers from Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, and Wisconsin. What stands out to you about the Big Ten and was playing in the conference a priority for you during your recruitment?
Bah: The Big Ten is the best conference in football, in my opinion. To have the opportunity to play in the Big Ten is a blessing. I do want to play in a top tier conference like the Big Ten or SEC during my college career.
BW: Where do you see yourself fitting in with the Badgers?
Bah: I see myself fitting in a four-man front and also playing the three technique.
BW: What is one area of your game you're looking to improve?
Bah: I am focused on improving my hand placement and playing more with my hands, while also having a lower pad level.
BW: Do you have a biggest influence in football whether that be a parent, player, or just someone who got you interested in the sport?
Bah: My biggest influence is my entire family, their input in where I decide to go means a lot.
BW: Do you have a potential time you are looking to commit?
Bah: I'll be committing sometime in June or July.

Notre Dame quarterback Kenny Minchey makes a bold proclamation following Friday's practice

You love to see when your quarterback has extreme confidence, and Notre Dame's Kenny Minchey did exactly that on Friday following the second fall practice. When speaking with the media, the second-year player proclaimed that he believes that he's 'the best quarterback in the country,' as On3's Jack Soble posted on social media. It's a strong claim, but one that ultimately could come true. Minchey will have to beat out CJ Carr first, but having that kind of confidence will go a long way. Everything that we have seen from his during his limited playing time and in practices seem to suggest that he's got the skill set to lead the Notre Dame offense. He's got the running ability to make defenses account for his legs, and the throwing ability to pop the top off of a defense. It will be a very interesting battle between the two, as the competition continues this fall leading up to the season opener on the road against Miami. Head coach Marcus Freeman will have a very difficult decision to make, but Minchey is very confident in his abilities. Shane Steichen details Anthony Richardson's improvement

The Colts are not giving up on Anthony Richardson Sr. After two seasons of injuries, inconsistency and a lack of preparation, Richardson is under pressure to perform in 2025. A week into training camp, he's responded to that pressure and is showing steady improvement. 'Everything looks cleaner,' Colts head coach Shane Steichen said after practice Thursday night. 'He's playing at a high level, he's making good decisions with the football…it's been really good to see.' Richardson is in the thick of a competition with new signing Daniel Jones for the starting quarterback job. Although the Colts insist the two quarterbacks are neck-and-neck, it's clear that Richardson is much more settled than in years past. Thursday night brought out the best of Richardson in camp as he continues to stack days. His deep ball was working extremely well, hooking up with AD Mitchell down the sideline and finding Ashton Dulin for a touchdown later on. Improvement on the practice field, specifically in the short passing areas, suggests the on-field product will be significantly better. In 11 starts last season, Richardson's ability to execute the easy throws was lacking, leading to a disappointing 47.7% completion percentage. But Steichen sees the change, giving both Richardson and the Colts hope that they can make things work and return to the playoffs under Richardson's leadership.
