Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE) returns for its 12th edition on July 3–4 2025 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC). Organised by Midas Events Management, SOGCE 2025 continues its legacy as the State's premier oil, gas, and energy platform, uniting stakeholders to collaborate, share insights and explore sustainable energy opportunities. Its collaboration partners are Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation (SOGDC), Society of Petroleum Engineers – KL Section and Semarak Training. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is scheduled to officiate SOGCE 2025, underscoring the event's strategic importance to the State's economic and energy development. This year's theme, 'Fostering Collaboration, Paving Sustainable Opportunities', reflects the event's mission to advance strategic partnerships and innovation, particularly in the face of global energy transition. SOGCE plays a vital role in advancing Sabah's position as a strategic hub for the oil, gas and energy industry in Malaysia. The event fosters meaningful dialogue between stakeholders, promotes local participation and aligns regional growth with national and global sustainability agendas.

The one-and-a-half day business conference with some 500 conference delegates expected, will host expert speakers and panellists covering strategic areas such as collaboration and co-creation in the energy expansion era; catalysing local economic growth; the role of natural gas as a transition fuel; emergence of Blue Economy; sustainability pathways: ESG, Circular Economy, CCS; and the energy scenario for Sabah's future: Role of technology, R&D, hydrogen and CO₂ solutions. Complementing the conference is a two-day exhibition, featuring 100 exhibiting companies from Sabah, Sarawak, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, China, Thailand and Canada.
