Co-stars of an iconic TV series reunited for a fun selfie this week - 27 years after the show ended - as the snap delighted fans. Actor Dominic Monaghan took to Instagram to share a snap with Dame Patricia Routledge, 96, who he starred with in the old BBC series Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. Hetty Wainthropp Investigates was a British crime drama television series, starring Dame Patricia as the title character, Henrietta 'Hetty' Wainthropp. It aired for four series between 3 January 1996 and 4 September 1998 on BBC One. Dominic, 48, starred as her assistant and lodger Geoffrey Shawcross and it marked his acting debut. The two leading stars appeared to meet up in a restaurant as Dom penned in the caption of their selfie: '25 YEARS later! So wonderful to see Dame Patricia. 'We always shared a love of acting, of actors, of the natural world and all of the curiosities of life, it was fantastic to spend a couple of hours doing the same! 'She still tells fantastic stories, loves great food and wine, and as always is sharp as a tack, with fantastic skin and style. 'She taught me so much, and continues to do so, aging with a class and quality I hope to emulate. 'hettywainthroppinvestigates forever! #becurious.' Delighted fans then penned in the comments of the post: 'So happy you got to meet up with her again after all these years. Her storytelling is amazing.', 'The Hetty Wainthropp duo reunited!! That was such a lovely show. You both look very well!', 'Oh wow! I own the entire DVD collection of 'Hetty Wainthropp Investigations'. My husband and I loves that series. This absolutely made our day to see the two of you together again.', 'I'm binge-watching Hetty Wainthropp Investigates and I come across this lovely post. Life is good!', 'This is the best!! The two leading stars appeared to meet up in a restaurant as Dom penned in the caption of their selfie: '25 YEARS later! Before The Librarians: The Next Chapter 's first season concludes on August 4, TNT dropped a Season 2 teaser promo you can watch below, showcasing its many high-profile guest stars. The Librarians: The Next Chapter Season 2 will see well-known actors like Dominic Monaghan, Josh Gates, Jeremy Swift, and Flulu Borg join Vikram Chamberlain's (Callum McGowan) team in Belgrade. In addition, Christian Kane will return as Jacob Booth, and original The Librarians cast member Lindy Booth joins him, reprising her role as Cassandra Cillian. They loved the new series, titled The Librarians: The Next Chapter , so much that they immediately greenlit a second season. Before the Season 1 finale next week, TNT dropped the promotional Season 2 teaser below, revealing some of the guest stars who will appear on the show in 2026. Most prominent in the teaser is Dominic Monaghan, whose character asserts that Vikram's team will need his help if they want to save the world. Whether that's to combat the mummy we see Charlie (Jessica Green) fighting, prevent a vial from exploding, a flying door from … well, flying, or some yet unknown catastrophic magical shenanigan, that will come with time. No word as to whether they'll play friends, foes, or victims of magical mishaps. Keep in mind, those categories are never mutually exclusive. The network unveiled the roster of guest stars signing on for the mythical adventure show's sophomore season. The guest stars include Jeremy Swift, Dominic Monaghan, Josh Gates, Stephan Kapicic, Oliver Dench, Ty Tennant, Flula Borg, Alan Emrys, Malcolm Sinclair, Reece Ritchie, Cat White, Gledisa Aruthur, Jack Cunningham-Nuttall, Danny Rea, Luka Divac, Alex Henry, Lindy Booth and Christian Kane. TNT also released a promo video Wednesday. "The world needs to be protected from magic," a voice says in the clip. Season 1 of the Librarians spinoff series premiered May 25 and followed Callum McGowan's character -- the time-traveling librarian Vikram Chamberlain who arrives in present-day from 1847. He accidentally "releases magic across the continent" and attempts to "clean up the mess he made" within six months. Jessica Green, Oliva Morris and Bluey Robinson also star. A release date for Season 2 has not yet been shared.

The long-running US cult drama, Lost, will has landed on the streamer just in time for those who are overdue a rewatch or looking to finally binge one of the buzziest shows of the 21st century. The ABC series, starring Matthew Fox, Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly, ran from 2004 to 2010 and follows the survivors of a plane crash on a remote tropical island in the South Pacific Ocean. As our characters scramble to stay alive, we delve into what led each of them here as they begin to uncover a bigger conspiracy at the heart of this disaster. Created by J. J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and Jeffrey Lieber, Lost quickly amassed a cult following before cementing itself as one of the most culturally influential American TV shows of the era. The synopsis reads: 'Their survival is threatened by a number of mysterious entities including polar bears, an unseen creature that roams the jungle, and the island's malevolent inhabitants.' The six-season series, largely filmed in Oahu, Hawaii, won several accolades during its time on air, including a Golden Globe and 11 Emmys (from a whopping 54 nominations).
