Sophie Turner hits back at claims she ‘forgot' children at Oasis concert
Sophie Turner has blasted her critics after being called out for simply enjoying an Oasis gig. The 29-year-old former Game of Thrones star – who has daughters Willa, four, and Delphine, two, with ex husband Joe Jonas – recently revealed she'd enjoyed a night out at the Britpop legends' ongoing reunion tour. Last week, Sophie shared some photos and videos from her night at one of the Wonderwall band's recent Wembley Stadium gigs. 'Bucket hats & beers…. That'll do me. Thank you @levis,' she captioned the innocuous post. However, that was enough for her to be mum-shamed by a troll in the comments, who claimed she had 'forgotten' her children by daring to have an evening out. 'Lmfao. I think she has forgotten that she has two kids,' they commented in something of an overreaction. Sophie replied: 'Ah I'm so sorry sometimes I forget some people can't think for themselves. 'So… Get this…There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.' That answers that then. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Sophie's ex Joe filed for divorce in September 2023, and despite a tense legal battle the couple later reached a custody agreement. They said at the time: 'After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. 'We look forward to being great co-parents.' Despite the initial disagreements, the couple have moved on to do what's best for their children, and Joe has spoken openly about Sophie as a positive role model for their girls. In May, he told Jay Shetty: 'Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true. As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them. 'I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.' More Trending Just last month, the Jonas Brothers singer revealed he and his ex have a 'great co-parenting relationship'. He told the School of Greatness podcast: 'I have a great co-parenting relationship, which is really important to me.' He described being a father to his 'beautiful' children as 'the greatest joy and journey', while praising the influence Sophie has on their kids. He added: 'My little ones have some incredible women to look up to, including their mom.' Got a story? Emmerdale characters arrested for ABH in early ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that has not aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) have been arrested in Emmerdale. Last week, Ruby's daughter Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) reunited with Ross Barton (Michael Parr). It was quite a big deal for her, as she had struggled to trust people ever since she learnt about the real connection between her and Anthony Fox. Steph asked Ross whether he had been with anyone in the time they weren't a couple. He said no, but that was a lie. Ross slept with Manpreet shortly after being dumped by Steph. At the time, Manpreet was feeling lonely, and decided to connect with Ross over a game of pool. Pool quickly turned into a game of tonsil tennis, as we saw Ross leaving Manpreet's not long after. She wondered if they could see each other again, but Ross was pretty dismissive, worried about how it would make Steph feel. Famous last words. As Steph was starting to trust Ross again, Ruby and Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) were digging into Manpreet's love life during an afternoon in the café. She admitted that she had a fling with someone, but obviously didn't know about Ross getting back with Steph. When Ross walked into the café, Manpreet casually confirmed to Ruby and Lewis that he was the person she slept with. Unfortunately, behind Ross was Steph, who discovered in that moment that her boyfriend had lied to her already. Devastated, Steph eventually decided to leave the village for a yoga retreat in Rome. Heartbroken, Ross tried to distract himself by finding another job. He approached Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) at the garage, who quickly told him where to go. A frustrated Ross attempted to show Cain that he was a capable mechanic but ended up injuring his hand. This was witnessed by Manpreet, who patched Ross up back at her house. It seemed that sleeping with Manpreet was a far better distraction to Ross than getting more work. After their time together, Ross and Manpreet shared a pretty intense kiss on the doorstep, which was witnessed by Ruby and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). Letting Manpreet know what she really thinks of her was the only thing on Ruby's mind in this evening's episode. She headed to the surgery to try and have a private conversation with her, but ended up exposing details of Manpreet's sex life in front of patients and Claudette (Flo Wilson). Ruby went up to the depot after, to play boss while Caleb Miligan (William Ash) was away. She was hoping to simply sit and gossip with Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), but then Manpreet arrived. The GP wanted to talk to Ruby and refused to budge until their conversation happened. Manpreet then hopped into a truck to show she wasn't going to move until Ruby heard what she had to say. Manpreet couldn't understand why Ruby was so invested in her sex life, but she remains unaware of the things Ruby has been through with Steph recently. Steph spent a large portion of her adult life away from Caleb and Ruby and when she returned, it took a long time for her to reconnect with her parents. To Ruby, it felt as though Manpreet was the catalyst for her daughter leaving again. More Trending But with Manpreet somewhat in the dark, the lack of communication led to the two women fighting in the depot…and outside of it. The commotion led to the arrival of PC Swirling (Andy Moore). With punches being thrown, Ruby and Manpreet were then arrested. View More » Nightmare. My Chemical Romance set to play Wembley Stadium after UK tour tease
My Chemical Romance fans are going wild after a Wembley Stadium show was all but confirmed for an upcoming UK tour. The American emo rock legends, best known for huge hits like Welcome To The Black Parade and I'm Not Okay (I Promise), haven't performed in the UK since dates in Milton Keynes and Warrington on their postponed 2022 reunion tour. However, that looks set to change after some major teases about a UK leg of their Long Live The Black Parade Tour, which could take place in 2026. The band – featuring founding members Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro – are currently celebrating almost two decades since their iconic rock opera, and it'll be our turn soon. Last night, the official Wembley Stadium social media accounts shared a photo of the famous arch lit up red, with the group's cryptic imagery on display. Not surprisingly, fans have gone into full meltdown mode – they're really not okay. 'MY CHEM are going to play Wembley? Wild,' wrote @djrustynail, while @emobuckeybarnes added: 'MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM I NEED TO BE THERE (sic)' 'i'm gonna pass out i'm so excited,' @g0th1cluvr admitted, as @bearnellied said: 'Get in losers we're seeing MCR at Wembley.' Others are a little concerned at the lack of teases by other venues, and hope there are more UK dates to be confirmed. 'Please be more than just a London date,' begged @brettd1981, with many other fans making similar pleas. Considered one of the most influential bands of their era and genre, My Chem released four full studio albums and a string of Platinum-selling singles between 2003 and 2010. The band called it a day in 2013 after more than a decade in the spotlight, before reuniting for a one-off show in 2019 and announcing tour dates across the world in 2020, which were postponed until 2022 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. At this time, the band released their first new song in eight years – The Foundations of Decay – but a new album never arrived, and the reunion tour concluded in 2023. In tragic news, previous drummer Bryar was found dead at his home in November 2024, and the band played only two shows that year. MCR returned to regular live shows in July 2025 on the Long Live The Black Parade Tour and have more shows planned for 2026, and now a new video on social media recently teased a return to the UK for the first time in four years. In the video, which features a parody game show called Quizzo, the host asks says: 'Our two fine contestants will help us learn who will be the next lucky country to win the grand prize of one nuclear winter?' After one of the contestants presses a big button, the host shouts, 'Congratulations, United Kingdom!' indicating that the Teenagers hitmakers will be heading here soon. Naturally, My Chem fans have taken this news calmly. @KofidereVT said: 'My Chemical Romance may have just teased UK dates. I swear to god, I will scream to get an opportunity to see them live again. Gerard Way, don't break my heart.' @Cryophantasm jumped the gun: 'My Chemical Romance has just announced a UK tour, this is not a drill, I am going to die,' while @ArtsTinyHat said they would 'not be calm' about the news. Meanwhile, @RoozNotDead joked My Chemical Romance touring the UK would mean that their money is 'not safe'. More Trending During their heyday, My Chemical Romance scored nine top 40 singles in the UK and released two top 10 studio albums, with 2006's The Black Parade reaching number two on the album charts. Their biggest win came in October 2006 when their song Welcome to the Black Parade unexpectedly spent two weeks at number one, beating competition from the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Girls Aloud, and Meat Loaf. Welcome to the Black Parade remains the band's most successful song to date, having been certified 2x Platinum in the UK and a whopping 7x Platinum in America. Got a story?
