Erie High students celebrate their heritage at first-ever Culture Night
School let out around 4 p.m. Thursday evening, but Erie High School students stuck around to celebrate their unique heritage.
Thursday night Erie High School hosted its first-ever Culture Night in the school's gymnasium, inviting its diverse body of students to show off their heritage.

Students dressed in cultural attire tried foods from different countries and even had a talent show to showcase cultural songs and dances.
53 Different countries were represented at the event, with tables highlighting each country's culture.
Davis awards $2.3 million for municicpal infrastructure projects
'About a month ago a team of teachers and myself got together, and we wanted to do something special for our students in our community and one of the things that we thought about was let's celebrate the diversity of our student body, which really represents our erie community,' said Don Orlando, principal of Erie High School.
Over 100 students and their families attended the event.
