See Justin Bieber Join SZA for Surprise ‘Snooze' Performance in Los Angeles

Justin Bieber made a surprise (and increasingly rare) onstage appearance Friday when he popped up during SZA's set Friday during the Grand National Tour's stop at Inglewood, California's SoFi Stadium. Following a trying couple of months that included since-denied Diddy rumors, a report about his 'financial distress,' and concerning social media posts, Bieber was back in his artistic element Friday as he joined SZA for a rendition of 'Snooze'; Bieber previously appeared on the acoustic remix of the SOS single. More from Rolling Stone Rob49 Has the Whole World Saying 'WTHelly' SZA Brings Out Lizzo for 'Special' Performance in Los Angeles SZA Defends Megan Thee Stallion Against Tory Lanez Fans Calling for His Release While Bieber hasn't performed a full public concert since September 2022, the singer has sporadically appeared onstage at other artists' shows in recent years, including a cameo at Don Toliver's Los Angeles gig in October 2024 to perform 'Private Landing.' However, Friday wasn't the first time Bieber performed 'Snooze' live: Back in February 2024, he attempted the track solo at a surprise Toronto mini-gig during the NHL All-Star Draft festivities. However, Friday's rendition marked the first time Bieber and SZA had performed the song together onstage. To date, 'Snooze' is the most recent single that Bieber has featured on, as the singer hasn't released any new music of his own since 2021's Justice. SZA's previous Grand National Tour set at SoFi Stadium featured a guest appearance by Lizzo. She and Kendrick Lamar will play one more show at the Englewood stadium Saturday night. Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Burna Boy, Rosé, and More Feature on ‘F1' Soundtrack

The spectacle of Formula 1 does not exist without the noise: the sound of rubber zipping over the track at 200 mph, the clatter of gravel as a car skids over a corner, the collective gasp of a crowd as a chassis crumples into a barrier — or another car — at unfathomable speed, and the pop of a champagne cork over a trophy. Now, following its success with the Oscar-, Golden Globe-, and Grammy-winning life-in-plastic soundtrack for Greta Gerwig's Barbie, Atlantic Records is looking to bring the energy of the racetrack to the big screen with a star-studded companion to Apple Original Films' F1. More from Rolling Stone Ed Sheeran Presses 'Play' on Upcoming Album With Nostalgic Single 'Old Phone' Don Toliver, Doja Cat Rev Up 'F1 the Movie' Soundtrack With 'Lose My Mind' Ed Sheeran Dumps Photos From Old Phone Before Dropping New Song 'Old Phone' Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Burna Boy, Raye, Tate McRae, Don Toliver, Madison Beer, Rosé, Tiësto, and Chris Stapleton are just some of the artists on F1 the Album. The soundtrack's 17 original songs will buttress Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem's high-speed international podium chase in theaters this summer. See the full lineup below. The album is produced and overseen by Grammy Award winner and Atlantic Records West Coast President Kevin Weaver, the producer of Barbie the Album, Twisters: The Album, and other soundtracks. The F1 companion LP will be available in full on June 27, the same day as the film's premiere. Atlantic Records and F1 will be counting down the film's release with weekly single drops — beginning with Wednesday's release of 'Lose My Mind,' a synth-heavy collaboration between Toliver and Doja that feels like cruising down a neon-illuminated avenue on a late-night drive. Which is exactly where we find Toliver in the single's accompanying music video. Directed by Christian Breslauer — of Lil Nas X's 'Industry Baby' fame — the video is a study in the anatomy of a Formula 1 car, a race suit, and Doja's engine grease-slicked body. Detail shots showcase the gold and black livery of the fictional car that Pitt and Idris will pilot in F1 — one that any real team on the track wouldn't hesitate to adopt. From Dom Dolla's moody electronica to Stapleton's roaring country to Peggy Gou's meditative Eurodance and Myke Towers' lowrider-worthy reggaeton, the F1 soundtrack charts a path that mirrors the seasonal race calendar's journey across the globe. Directed and produced by Joseph Kosinski alongside co-executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the film stars Pitt as washed-up 'greatest that never was' driver Sonny Hayes, who agrees to come out of retirement to help his friend and former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Bardem) save his struggling racing team, Apex Grand Prix. His new teammate, Joshua 'Noah' Pearce (Idris), is a rookie upstart with all the raw talent and none of the experience, and the two will battle for the checkered flag in a cutthroat sport where no one shares a podium — much less a championship. Formula 1 devotees will almost inevitably be aware of the film's development, given that major portions of it were filmed on site at major race tracks over the course of the 2023 and 2024 season. Formula 1's biggest names will also feature in the film. All 20 drivers of 2023, including six-time champion Lewis Hamilton (who is also a producer on the project), four-time champion Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, George Russell, Fernando Alonso, and Sergio 'Checo' Perez, will make appearances. Fan-favorite, former Haas F1 team principal Guenther Steiner is also set to have a cameo. The first full trailer for F1, released in March, promises visual thrills that will put viewers who haven't had the pleasure of testing out a simulator closer to the track and the cars than ever before. High-speed overtakes, brutal collisions, and paddock drama combine for what is poised to be the blockbuster of the summer. 'The F1 movie is as authentic a racing movie as has ever been,' Hamilton said in a behind-the-scenes video released earlier this year. The film will be back on the real-world paddock this weekend at the Miami Grand Prix, where Atlantic Records and F1 will host a takeover featuring a replica of the film's Apex Grand Prix team, album previews, race simulators, and appearances by some of the stars and artists collaborating on the film. In F1's soundtrack, Atlantic Records promises a high-rpm joyride for the ages, and they have yet to build a car that can get us to premiere day fast enough. Track List 1. Amyl and The Sniffers, Troye Sivan, Kevin Parker Win Big at 2025 APRA Music Awards

Australian punks Amyl and The Sniffers have taken out the song of the year at the 2025 APRA Music Awards, held Wednesday (April 30) at Melbourne Town Hall. The Melbourne group received the coveted peer-voted award for their track 'U Should Not Be Doing That,' which was released as the lead single for their 2024 album Cartoon Darkness. The record itself became the group's second consecutive release to hit No. 2 on the ARIA charts, while the single received a nomination for best video at the 2024 ARIA Awards. Troye Sivan, meanwhile, was named songwriter of the year, just shy of the one-year anniversary of 'Rush' being named song of the year at the 2024 ceremony. 'Songwriting is my favorite thing that I get to do. I think it'll be something that I do for the rest of my life,' Sivan said of his win. 'I feel like it's, one of the greatest gifts that I was born with. Not even the ability to write a good song, just the ability to create at all.' While Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell of Royel Otis received the emerging songwriter of the year award just months after winning four trophies at the ARIA Awards, Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker emerged as the night's big winner, being honored in the categories of most performed Australian work and most performed pop work. In both instances, Parker's win was for Dua Lipa's 'Houdini,' which he co-wrote alongside Lipa and international writers Caroline Ailin, Danny Harle and Tobias Jesso Jr. Released in November 2023, the single topped the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and reached a respectable No. 11 on the Hot 100. Sia's 'Unstoppable' was named most performed Australian work overseas, while Tate McRae's 'Greedy' took out most performed international work. King Stingray, Ziggy Alberts, Make Them Suffer, Kaiit, Lithe, and Dom Dolla also emerged victorious in their respective genre categories, while Kylie Minogue took out the previously-announced Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music. The 2025 edition of the APRAs cemented 'another huge year for Australian music, both at home and overseas,' comments APRA AMCOS CEO Dean Ormston. 'It's heartwarming to see so many first-time winners this year, showcasing the incredible breadth of talent Australia produces, and it's a testament to the opportunity of Australia becoming a global songwriting powerhouse,' he added. 'With an election just days away, we hope that both sides of government can see the immense talent we have here, and the opportunities to build a stronger, fairer, more vibrant future for Australian music, recognising our music as the global cultural powerhouse and valuable export that it so clearly is.' Established in 1982, the Australasian Performing Right Association's annual songwriters' ceremony is one of the Australian music industry's most treasured events, a worthy counterpart to Britain's Ivor Novello Awards. Ye Releases ‘Donda 2' Album to Streaming Services for First Time

Ye's (formerly Kanye West) Donda 2 album is on streaming services for the first time. West premiered the sequel in February 2022, and the project had only been available on the Stem Player until Wednesday (April 30). As of press time, Donda 2 is available on YouTube Music and Spotify, but is yet to hit Apple Music. The project is loaded with 18 tracks and guest appearances from XXXTENTACION, Don Toliver, Migos, Jack Harlow, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Baby Keem, Future and more. More from Billboard CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso: The Duo Disrupting Latin Music's Boundaries With Flair, Friendship and Fearlessness Don Toliver & Doja Cat Hit the Fast Lane for New Song 'Lose My Mind': Watch the Music Video Turnstile Shares New Video & Songs Featuring Vocals From Dev Hynes & Paramore's Hayley Williams: Listen Future served as the album's executive producer and the cover art remains the same, showcasing Ye's childhood home on fire. West originally premiered the album with a listening party inside Miami's LoanDepot Park in February 2022, but many of the tracks were unfinished and never made it to streaming services as Ye focused on the Stem Player technology. Ye also threw in cuts like 'City of Gods' featuring Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys, which arrived just prior to the Donda 2 listening party, and served as the lead single for the Brooklyn drill rapper's B.I.B.L.E. album. The track reached No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100. '530' was one of the unfinished standouts on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's Vultures 2 album, but West felt strong enough about the cleaned-up version to include it on Donda 2's streaming release. Kim Kardashian's 2021 Saturday Night Live monologue is still included on 'Sci-Fi.' 'I married the best rapper of all time,' she can be heard saying to start the track. 'Not only that, he is the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.' West has been holed up in Spain for much of April. A masked Ye hosted a live stream premiere for Donda 2 with popular streamers Digital Nas, Sneako and N3on on Tuesday night (April 29). West has been under fire in recent months for controversial X rants filled with hate speech. On the music side, he released a visual edition of his Bully album in March. Listen to Donda 2 below.
