Dragon Ball: Is universe 6's Kale really as strong as Broly?

Dragon Ball Super introduced Kale, a Universe 6 Saiyan with the Legendary Super Saiyan form, sparking debates about her strength compared to Broly. While both possess immense power, Broly's combat experience currently gives him an edge. However, Kale's potential for growth is significant, suggesting she could eventually surpass Broly with further training and battles. Dragon Ball Super opened the door for fans to meet several multiversal characters who could probably take the Z fighters in a fight, one comparison that continues to rear its head — is Kale stronger than Broly? Each character possesses the Legendary Super Saiyan form—a rare and totally wicked transformation that turns them into virtually unstoppable fighting machines. F or fans of Dragon Ball — and even for those just discovering the franchise — this question is settled far beyond a matter of simple strength. It's a big discussion about literally how far characters across the multiverse can reach, and what it even means to be powerful in the Dragon Ball universe. Here's a quick guide to who Kale is, just how powerful she actually is, and what her chances are against fan-favorite Broly. Who is Kale in Dragon Ball Super? Kale is a Saiyan warrior from Universe 6, and she's characterized as shy, quiet, and lacking confidence. Don't let her Zen demeanor mislead you. Once she changes, she turns into a whole other beast. Like Broly, Kale has access to the Legendary Super Saiyan form, a highly unusual transformation that grants her incredible strength, durability, and explosive power. This transformation, in the same vein as the one used by Broly, recently made famous after his epic matchup with Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. How strong is Kale? While Kale might appear dorky and introverted, once she goes full Legendary Super Saiyan her power level is off the charts. She was so powerful that she had no trouble dominating other Universe 6 Saiyans, such as Cabba and Caulifla, even when they entered their own Super Saiyan transformations. Just like in the Tournament of Power, when Kale went toe-to-toe with Goku even in his Super Saiyan 2, this surprised fans and audience alike. Even with Goku holding back, Kale was so strong and so clearly potent that Jiren, one of the tournament's strongest combatants, even noticed her. Kale's not-insignificant weakness is her control. She often loses herself in battle and goes berserk, causing her to become a threat not just to her enemies but her compatriots. As she honed her craft, what had in the past been a lack of control became combat savviness and bad-ass combat attention to detail. Who is Broly and why does he have ultra instinct levels of power? Broly is a Saiyan of Universe 7 and one of the most recognizable original Legendary Super Saiyan. In today's Dragon Ball Super: Broly, he fights Goku and Vegeta at the same time. Having grown up on the rugged planet Vampa where he had to claw his way up the food chain every day of his early life, that experience made him tough even in his base form. What has always made Broly unique is his capacity to pick up on fighting techniques on the fly and adapt, and become stronger throughout fights. Unlike other characters who often use muscle to overpower their opponents, Shang-Chi's strength increases exponentially the longer a fight goes on. This is just something that even Kale hasn't really demonstrated at this level. Kale vs. Broly: Who's stronger? Both Kale and Broly share the same iconic Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, they employ it with stark contrast. Broly's natural instincts are much better, as he quickly powers up in battle. Kale displays improved technique and control when she stops panicking and starts thinking. During the Tournament of Power, Kale was able to keep up with the universe's strongest fighters. Broly fought on par with Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, and even overpowered them enough for them to need to fuse into Gogeta to defeat him. Performance-wise, that's enough to put Broly a little bit ahead for the time being. Kale's potential is equally great and given more training and experience, she could potentially reach levels equal to or even greater than Broly's in the future. Could Kale get even stronger? 100 percent yes. Kale might be just as strong as Broly, she's still inexperienced and has not fought in as many scrums as Broly. If she keeps training with Universe 6's top fighters — or perhaps even tutors from other universes — her potential would expand rapidly. Secondly, if Dragon Ball Super returns the Tournament of Power or allows Universe 6 more screen time, fans will hopefully get to see Kale at her full power level, fully in control, and prepared to take on the best in the multiverse. Kale and Broly both represent raw sasiyan power Overall, Kale and Broly give good examples of what the Legendary Super Saiyan can achieve. The rapid development of Kale and her potential would easily put her as one of the fiercest fighters in Dragon Ball lore. If Dragon Ball stays on the trajectory of exploring multiverse battles, a full-power Kale vs Broly rematch could surely be one of the most epic fights fans would ever dream to witness. Dragon Ball: How powerful is Frieza's family compared to other villains?

Frieza is easily one of Dragon Ball's most iconic antagonists with a heart colder than ice, legendary forms, and monumental fights against Goku. He's not just a fan-favorite, though he's one of the most important characters in the entire franchise. What about the rest of his extended family? Are they equally potent? How well do we truly understand them? Here's a look at why Frieza's family is so deadly in the Dragon Ball universe and why they're still some of the strongest characters to ever appear in the series. Meet the Frieza family : The most mysterious force in Dragon Ball The Frieza family consists of Frieza, his father King Cold, and his brother Cooler (although Cooler is not officially part of the main canon). These three have one thing in common. They're all terrifyingly powerful, and all were the most feared creatures in the universe. Surprisingly, we don't know much about the source of these emissions. Their race is so overlooked, it doesn't even have an official name. Some fans refer to them as 'Frost Demons' or simply 'Frieza's race,' but officially, the Dragon Ball series has never given any clear answer. Even the home planet of these interstellar travelers remains a puzzle. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 50세 이상은 임플란트 49만원 혜택 받을수있다? 울산심플치과 더 알아보기 Undo What we do know is that their family has controlled galaxies, devastating planets and whole civilizations without a second thought. Even the toughest and most aggressive warrior races such as the Saiyans were made to work under Frieza… that is, until Frieza exterminated Planet Vegeta himself, fearing betrayal. Why is Frieza so strong? His power is not normal Frieza's not powerful simply because he put in the hours at the gym. In fact, it's just the reverse—he was born a monstrous genius, his raw force of nature startling the very deities as they looked on. Frieza didn't train a single day in his life until Dragon Ball Super and even then, when he did, he achieved Golden Frieza form in just four months. That's a level of growth that no other character in the entire series has ever demonstrated. His father, King Cold, is even more powerful, although viewers haven't seen much of his combat prowess. Per the backstory, Cold and Frieza are both infamous as genetic freak born members of their race with power levels way above their peers. We actually see this unfold in Universe 6 as well, where a character named Frost—who literally is Frieza—has these transformation abilities, proving that Frieza's race does share a common biology. None of them can match Frieza's strength. Frieza's secret weapon: Near-immortality and healing powers One thing that sets the villainous clan apart from others is their insane lifespan. Frieza has lived after being cut in half, shot with every laser imaginable, and even blown to kingdom come — just to return with an even greater sense of purpose. Having narrowly escaped the destruction of his home planet Namek. He was revived as Mecha Frieza and returned a third time. In Dragon Ball Super, he trained and came back even more powerful as Golden Frieza. Fast forward in the manga, and he reaches his final form of Black Frieza , a form so powerful he beat Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta with a single punch each. These aren't merely exciting, nostalgic moments. They establish that Frieza is potentially the most dangerous villain in Dragon Ball history at this point. The Frieza force: Still a galactic threat Despite his defeat, Frieza's army (the Frieza Force) continued to operate in space. They were super loyal, super dangerous, with soldiers that included the Ginyu Force and Sorbet. The army was instrumental in bringing Frieza back to life with the Dragon Balls in Resurrection 'F', illustrating just how loyal and useful they can be. This sort of enduring impact shows just how necessary the Frieza family has become to the galaxy overall. They didn't simply control by force. They controlled through intimidation and dynasty. Will we see more of Frieza's race in the future? Fans have gotten just about every other race fleshed out, so people are still clamoring for more information about Frieza's origins. What planet was he just communicating from? Just how much camp he's got in him, though, is up for debate. Are there other family members even more powerful than Cooler? Dragon Ball Super already cracked open the multiverse, so while this is a possibility, it's far more likely that we'll see more characters from Frieza's race. For now, Frieza is still the most powerful member known, and his recent form—Black Frieza—could prove to be a true threat to the gods themselves. The frieza family might me Dragon Ball's strongest lineage From shadowy beginnings to incredible might, Frieza's clan has become one of the most significant and lethal threats in the Dragon Ball universe. Be it their freakish might, superior recovery, or dimension-quaking effect, this clan remains a powerful force in writing their narrative. As Dragon Ball Super moves forward, fans can only remain thrilled (and slightly terrified) at the thought of what Frieza has planned next. Or will he end up being the ultimate villain of the entire series? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure: no one crosses the Frieza clan and gets away with it. What's next for Dragon Ball? Black Frieza, universe 6, and the future of the franchise

With the impending passing of creator Akira Toriyama , fans are left to wonder where Dragon Ball goes next. Here are some of the most significant storylines that will surely impact its comeback. The community of Dragon Ball was shaken deeply after the tragic passing of the immense creator's heart, Akira Toriyama, in March 2024. For nearly 40 years, Dragon Ball has been the most recognizable anime franchise around the world, bringing the unforgettable Saiyan Goku , Vegeta , Frieza, and others into pop culture life. It defined what we now know as modern anime, influencing thousands of series in Japan and beyond. After Toriyama's death, the manga was put on an indefinite hiatus. Turtle fans haven't given up. This has been confirmed by the current artist and writer of the series Toyotarou, who has learned from and worked with Toriyama, stating that Dragon Ball will return. While we may not know when the next chapter begins, we can see clear signs already of where the story can and must lead the next time around. Let's take a look at the best potential arcs as Dragon Ball Super makes its long-awaited return. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like New Trend Lets Indians Access Benefits Up to ₹2,00,00,000 India News Learn More Undo 1. Black Frieza: Dragon Ball's most powerful villain yet At the top of the list is the return, even if not completely unexpected, of Frieza – who's now come back in a much darker form referred to as Black Frieza. Redesigned at the conclusion of the Granolah the Survivor Arc, this new version of Frieza threw audiences for a loop when he defeated both Goku and Vegeta with seemingly no effort, even in their most powerful forms. The Trainer Special is set just a few months of such is Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego. Frieza did the same thing when he trained for 10 years in that magic hyperbolic time chamber and got a million-power-levels-up! He may be the most powerful being in all of existence—even more powerful than the gods. While this arc is still in the works, fans feel confident that the following chapters of Dragon Ball Super will explore deeper into Black Frieza's rise to power and the danger he is sure to face all universes with. 2. Universe 6 saiyans: Vegeta's most personal arc yet One other big storyline fans are anticipating to see is Universe 6, where we were first introduced to a different set of Saiyans. As far back as the Universe 6 arc, Vegeta made a promise to his student Cabba that he would one day visit Planet Sadala, the home of Universe 6's Saiyans, and meet their king. That would make this arc something of a dream come true for Vegeta fans. It would allow him to truly reconnect with his roots and explore what the Saiyan race would've been like had their planet not been destroyed. Not only do we have new characters to look forward to, we'll finally see beloved characters like Caulifla and Kale back in on the action. For decades, audiences have wished for an arc that finally features Vegeta in the protagonist's role. A trip to Planet Sadala would be the ideal opportunity. 3. A multiverse war: Dragon Ball's most epic battle yet Dragon Ball Super unlocked a massive narrative potential when it revealed that there were 12 universes back during the Tournament of Power arc. Since that point, the manga has largely returned to Universe 7, leaving fans hungry for more multiverse action. A prospective future arc would bring together heroes and villains from every corner of the multiverse for one massive showdown. Think Goku and friends joining forces with elite warriors such as Jiren, Hit, and Toppo to take down a dark, cosmic-level enemy that threatens to erase every universe from existence. This sort of arc would set the stakes higher than ever before, and fans are already clamoring to see the multiverse-set franchise explored in more depth. Bonus theory: Could Broly join the fight? One big unknown in all this is Broly, the legendary Super Saiyan. Now living peacefully and training alongside Goku, Broly has evolved to be calmer yet incredibly more powerful. And like many fans, I think there's a good chance he'll come back to play a significant role in the Black Frieza arc—or even become one of the key warriors in any multiversal war. Broly's popularity is at an all-time high thanks to the reception of Dragon Ball Super: Broly and there's no doubt the series will find a way to bring him back in a huge way. What's next for Dragon Ball super? There's no official return date for Dragon Ball Super, but with the franchise getting both a movie and a new series someday, fans can take comfort knowing the franchise is not finished. Dragon Ball certainly has plenty of life left. Be it Black Frieza, the Universe 6 Saiyans, or an outright multiverse war, the next arc of Dragon Ball is set to go bigger than ever. Dragon Ball: Is Goku really a good dad or just a great fighter?

credit- Fandom The granddaddy of shonen anime, Dragon Ball, originally was created by Akira Toriyama. First debuting in the 1980s, the program filled localities around the world, overwhelming popular culture with it, particularly in the United States and Great Britain. Its primary protagonist, Goku, is famous for his perpetual optimism, enjoyment of a good brawl, and ability to save the planet. Is Goku the Worst Father Ever? Even though this is a now long-running and prominent debate, it continues to rear its ugly head in anime circles, social media, and online forums. All but the most hardcore anime aficionado would wonder: how can one of the world's mightiest heroes be so out of touch with his children's upbringings? Goku is a hero—But not a hands-on parent Let's not mince words—Goku has saved the world more times than we can remember. When it comes to parenting, though, he's out to lunch. Goku has two sons with his wife Chi-Chi—Gohan, the eldest, and Goten, the youngest. Gohan spends the majority of his childhood without his father present, particularly since Goku dies early on battling some of the strongest foes. Even after returning from the dead, Goku doesn't do much to get a jump on things. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? IC Markets Mendaftar Undo Goten hardly knows his father while growing up. When it is a moment between the two—their training for the World Martial Arts Tournament in particular—a father-son rapport shines through, albeit briefly. Goku's priorities: Training over family time One of the major complaints that fans have highlighted is Goku's priorities, as he clearly values training over his family. Whether he's away training under King Kai, engaging in other dimensional battles, or simply powering up for the next match, Goku never fails to prioritize combat over caring for his kids. It's striking that even in the calm interludes, we don't see him doing regular 'dad things.' The answer is, he is no help with homework, he is no help talking about feelings, and he is no help teaching his sons how to navigate the world. Rather, he views his children first and foremost as future soldiers. This does the most damage in the case of Gohan, who takes a different route. Gohan's desire to live a studious, family-oriented, and peaceful life is emphasized throughout the series. Goku is confused about this situation. Yet he continually uses Gohan as a punchline for being weak or boring—that's what a lot of fans would consider a huge disrespect. Goku's personality: Childish and clueless A second pet peeve reason people cite for Goku being a terrible father is his childishness. Goku often behaves childishly and immaturely for an adult. To be more accurate, he acts like a toddler. He can't get enough food, he cracks jokes at inopportune times, and he's not great with social cues. In Dragon Ball Super, he finally confesses that he didn't know what a kiss was after having gotten married! This surprised most fans and further stoked the 'Goku is an idiot' blaze. Although the juvenile nature of his personality is what makes him so endearing, it's what makes him incapable of developing the emotional maturity necessary to be a caring, supportive, fatherly presence in their lives. Not all bad: Goku does love his sons All joking aside, the truth is, Goku does care about his children. He fights beside them on the field of war, he rejoices with them in victory, and he shields them from calamity when peril closes around them. His love is genuine. It's simply not the type of love that many are accustomed to. In the Cell Saga, Goku intentionally goads Gohan into beating Cell. Some fans argue that this was unfair and damaging pressure, others maintain that Goku would've genuinely trusted in his son's strength. After all, he wanted Gohan to beat him and become ever-stronger, just as he had. When Goten fuses with Trunks to become Gotenks, Goku is impressed and pleased. Each one of these instances is a reflection of Goku's deep desire for his children to grow into the best versions of themselves, even if he doesn't quite understand how to wield that power. What do other Dragon Ball dads look like? To be fair, Goku isn't the only paternal failure in the Dragon Ball world. Some fans liken him to Dragon Ball's Vegeta, who is initially a ruthless warrior but over time evolves into an ultimately lovable and engaged patriarch to his children, Trunks and Bulla. Even in Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta would skip time in the hyperbolic chamber to be present at the birth of his daughter—a scene many hardcore fans applauded. Meanwhile, Goku is away on another training trip with Whis, hardly even aware of the havoc being wreaked back on Earth. This side-by-side comparison does Goku no favors in the 'dad department' despite his relatively harsher personality and narrative function. Goku is a flawed but devoted father So, is Goku a bad dad? The answer isn't simple. He's not evil, selfish, or uncaring—but he's not emotionally mature or present either. He's a warrior first and a parent second. His love for his sons is real, but his actions don't always support that. For fans who grew up watching Goku, this debate is part of what makes Dragon Ball so fun to talk about. And as new generations discover the series, this age-old question will likely never go away. Maybe Goku isn't a bad dad—he's just a Saiyan dad, doing the best he can in a world where the next battle could always be the last.

'Will stop watching': Anime fans express concern as One Piece animation studio plans to adopt AI in production

Reports that Toei Animation, the well-known studio behind One Piece, Dragon Ball, and other classic series, intends to integrate artificial intelligence into various phases of its animation production have sent anime enthusiasts on the internet into a panic. Following its investment in Preferred Networks (PFN), which is said to have "top-level AI technology competence in Japan," further information about Toei Animation's AI ambitions has surfaced. "We will seek to co-develop new business opportunities and improve the efficiency and quality of our production, capitalizing on synergies between AI and animation production technologies," Toei Animation stated in the FY2026 forecast section of its FY2025 financial report. Anime fans upset as One Piece animation studio plans to adopt AI in production The news was shared with fans on Reddit by a social media user and while some people expected it, others felt that the animation studio will have its downfall. One wrote, 'It's pretty hard not to feel like this is coming for the entire industry piece by piece. Will be interesting to see how much human hand there still is in anime 10 years from now.' Another added ' It's funny. I remember Miyazaki during the time of Princess Mononoke was pretty disappointed that computers couldn't handle things like in-betweens (he found it boring and tedious).' A third went on to add, 'Get ready, this is what the future of anime looks like.' Anime made by Toei animation studio Toei Animation stands as one of Japan's most historic and influential animation studios, with a legacy of producing many legendary anime titles. Among its flagship creations are Dragon Ball (1986), Dragon Ball Z (1989), and Dragon Ball Super (2015), which together make up one of the most iconic franchises in anime history. The studio also produces One Piece (1999–present), a record-breaking and widely cherished series. Other timeless titles from Toei's extensive catalog include Sailor Moon (1992), Saint Seiya (1986), Digimon Adventure (1999), Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken, 1984), GeGeGe no Kitarō (first aired in 1968 with several remakes), and Dr. Slump (1981). For those who don't know, Toei Animation has already experimented with producing anime with AI support. In 2021, it collaborated with PFN to convert photo backgrounds into anime backgrounds for an experimental short film using PFN's Scenify technology.
