What is the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress and should you buy it?
The entry-level DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress is a variation of the flagship DreamCloud Classic Hybrid. Unusually, the DreamCloud Memory Foam is the pricier option of the two. The best hybrid mattresses tend to cost more than their all-foam counterparts due to the inclusion of steel coils, but that's not the case here. The construction isn't much different from the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, which is the second highest-rated option in our best mattress of the year guide. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam merely swaps the coils for a core of high-density foam, resulting in a less responsive surface. Thinking of buying the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress? Here's what to expect in terms of cost, design, and overall comfort. While you'll be spending more compared to the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, you'll still be able to save thanks to regular mattress sales. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam is a 12" mattress rated a 6.5 out of 10 on the brand's firmness scale. With its balanced bed feel, quilted top, and therapeutic memory foam comfort layer, we think it'll best suit side and back sleepers who crave loads of pressure relief for sensitive joints. As an all-foam mattress, the motion isolation here should be excellent — we already rated it highly in our DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress review. Trading the springs for a foam foundation will result in less airflow, even with a newly designed cooling cover woven with polyethylene fibers. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress costs $100 to $200 more than its hybrid sibling in all sizes but twin. A queen-size is regularly on sale for $799, which is still within mid-range. It comes with a 365-night trial and a forever warranty. DreamCloud never sells its mattresses at the suggested retail price thanks to an evergreen DreamCloud mattress sale that cuts as much as 60% off. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. The DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress has a starting sale price of $299 for a twin, which is actually $100 less than the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid in the same size. However, for the remaining sizes, the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam costs up to $200 more than the hybrid version. Here are the current sale prices for the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress, along with the price differential versus the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid: As always, DreamCloud includes a 365-night sleep trial, a lifetime mattress warranty. and free shipping and returns. DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress (queen): $799 at DreamCloudThis updated version of the DreamCloud memory foam mattress costs about $150 more than the sale price of its predecessor, but the Classic sports a sleeker design (at the expense of side carry handles) with a new cooling cover to help soothe you to sleep. This discount has held steady at DreamCloud for quite a while, save a smattering of surprise flash sales that saw prices drop even lower. Every DreamCloud mattress has undergone a slight makeover, including the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam. It maintains its 12" profile but now consists of fewer layers, a new top cover, and a sleeker exterior. The cashmere-blend quilted top that was once DreamCloud's signature feature has been replaced with a new CloudQuilt foam top that's infused with cooling polyethylene fibers to dissipate heat. Directly underneath that is a layer of therapeutic memory foam for pressure relief. An adaptive support layer of foam gives way to a high-density foam foundation; these components aid with alignment and stability. According to DreamCloud, the foundational foam has a reinforced perimeter for edge support, similar to the coils in the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid. Surrounding the mattress is an updated shift-resistant cover with a fiberglass-free flame retardant sewn in. However, the cover no longer includes side carry handles, which could make rotating your mattress a bit of a hassle. DreamCloud rates all of its mattresses a 6.5 out of 10 on its firmness scale. However, based on our experiences with DreamCloud hybrid mattresses in particular, these beds tend to skew firmer than advertised. We've yet to try the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress ourselves. Based on what we know about DreamCloud beds and the best memory foam mattresses in general, we think most sleepers can anticipate a medium-firm feel with ample contouring from the quilted foam topper. Speaking of the topper, the polyethylene fibers in the cover should give this mattress a cool-to-the-touch sensation, similar to what we found with the Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress. (Nectar and DreamCloud are both a part of Resident Home.) That said, the absence of springs may hinder the airflow compared to the hybrid DreamCloud. The surface won't be as springy, either, although we don't anticipate deep sinkage — again, it'll likely be similar to the Nectar Classic we tested. ✅ You need a mattress to ease sore joints: DreamCloud mattresses, while on the firmer side, have softened a bit with newer iterations. The quilted top remains a constant and delivers excellent pressure relief. If you're a side sleeper in particular, you'll like the way it contours to your shoulders, hips, and knees without compromising support. ✅ You share a bed: The previous versions of the DreamCloud Hybrid scored well in our motion isolation tests. Swapping the springs for a dense foam core here will only improve this bed's ability to dampen movement, allowing you and your partner to sleep in peace. ✅ You want to take your time trying it out: DreamCloud offers a full year to trial your mattress at home. If you decide it's not the right fit, you can return it for a full refund at no extra cost. ❌ You're a very hot sleeper: The cooling upgrades here are nice to see, but we don't think the DreamCloud Classic Memory Foam Mattress will do enough to keep severe overheating at bay. Look at our guide to the best cooling mattresses if you need best-in-class temperature regulation. ❌ You want a mattress that's easy to rotate: Believe it or not, rotating your mattress is one of the best ways to get the most use out of it, as it helps delay the onset of sagging and indents. The DreamCloud Classic doesn't have side handles, making this necessary step more of a chore. ❌ You want the absolute lowest price for a DreamCloud: At this price point, a $100 to $200 differential is enough to push a mattress into another price bracket. The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid will be a little easier on your wallet, but for quality beds under $500 for a queen, check out our best budget mattress guide.

‘No longer waking up with a stiff lower back' — Saatva's top mattress for back pain drops by $400 ahead of Memorial Day sales
Back pain in the morning can disrupt your whole day, but a mattress with enhanced lumbar support can stop all that pain from building up. The Saatva RX is made for sleepers with chronic back and joint pain and, so if that's sounds like your dream bed you can save $400 on the RX at Saatva with our semi-exclusive discount. $400 off reduces a queen to $2,999 (was $3,399), matching the lowest price we tracked during the Presidents' Day sales. The Saatva RX is the only Saatva mattress with the brand's patented Therapeutic Support Core designed to boost circulation and reduce physical pain. It's our number one mattress for chronic back pain and a good choice for people who are struggling to sleep due to discomfort. The RX was slightly cheaper to buy earlier in this year when a 15% off sale took a queen down to $2,890, but we predict that $400 off every size is the biggest discount you'll get in this year's Saatva Memorial Day sale. That's an extra $50 saving on the queen RX and an extra $200 saving on the twin RX compared to the brand's general public sale. Saatva RX: twin was $1,999 now $1,599 at SaatvaThe Saatva RX is one of the best mattresses you can buy this year thanks to its lower back support and soothing pressure relief. This top-rated hybrid mattress boasts seven layers and is made from a mix of premium memory foam, organic cotton, natural latex and microcoils to create a zoned bed that contours to your body in every sleep position. The gel-infused lumbar crown ensures your spine remains supported, eliminating pressure build up that can exacerbate pain. Our discount will save you $400 on every size Saatva RX, with a queen priced $2,999. We don't think it will be any cheaper to buy in this year's Memorial Day mattress sales either so there's no reason to wait. The RX comes with a lifetime warranty, a year's sleep trial and Saatva's free white glove delivery and installation. During the testing period for the Saatva RX mattress review we found the RX to be a firmer than initially expected. While Saatva says the mattress has a 'supportive plush' feel, rating it at 3-4 out of 10 on the firmness scale, we actually found it felt more like a 7.5-8. This meant it felt buoyant, rather than sinking beneath you, but still contouring enough to relieve pressure. This medium-firm feel, combined with the responsive latex, high-density memory foam and over 1,600 microcoils, meant that our testing panel felt relief from back pain, scoliosis and arthritis, with our lead tester saying they're 'no longer waking up with a stiff lower back.'It's certainly a very high-quality durable mattress, and because of its indulgent feel and next-level support, it also makes it into this year's tried and tested best luxury mattress guide. DreamCloud Classic Hybrid mattress: twin from $399 at DreamCloudWhile we think the price of the Saatva RX reflects the quality of the mattress, not everyone has over $2,000 to spend on their bed. For those working with smaller budgets, we'd recommend the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid mattress. It's got a simple three-layered design that incorporates high-density memory foam with innerspring coils, but it's surprisingly effective. In our DreamCloud mattress review we found it relieved the dreaded 'dead hip' for our side sleeper tester and alleviated the pressure for another tester in their lower back. The evergreen DreamCloud mattress sale means a queen is just $649, which is fantastic value mattress. You'll also get a 365-night trial, a forever warranty and free shipping and returns.

DreamCloud Classic Hybrid vs Brooklyn Bedding Copperflex Pro Hybrid: Which mattress is right for you?
Type: HybridFirmness: Firm (8/10)Height: 12"Sizes: 7Sleep trial: 365 nightsWarranty: LifetimePrice: from $1,014 at DreamCloudShipping: Free Type: HybridFirmness: Medium-firm (7/10)Height: 14"Sizes: 6Sleep trial: 120 nightsWarranty: Limited lifetimePrice: from $932 at Brooklyn BeddingShipping: Free The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is one of America's most popular mattresses, while the Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is a relative newcomer with a close resemblance. But which is best? Here's where we compare both mattresses to help you decide which might be your best bedtime option. Both the DreamCloud and CopperFlex Pro promise to deliver a luxurious feel at an affordable price, and both mattresses are rated highly by our expert reviewers and by customers. You'll find the DreamCloud in our guide to the tried and tested best mattresses of 2025, where we rate it as the best affordable mattress and praise it for its pressure relief and back support as well as its temperature regulation. While the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid hasn't yet made it into our best mattress guide, it's definitely a strong contender thanks to its effective cooling, zoned lumbar support and a luxurious pillow top. If you're not so sure about your next mattress purchase as the Memorial Day mattress sales come closer, we can help you decide. In this article we'll compare the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid and CopperFlex Pro in terms of build, support, temperature regulation and price, so that you can quickly decide which option is best for you. Read on for all the facts... We rate the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid as one of the best luxury mattresses if you're looking for something affordable. A queen size has an MSRP (or 'total value' as DreamCloud say) of $1,531, but there's little chance of you ever having to pay that, thanks to evergreen DreamCloud mattress sales. At the time of writing, the brand's up to 60% off Memorial Day sale makes the price of a queen $649. At MSRP the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is a cheaper option, with a queen size coming in at $1,332. Again, regular Brooklyn Bedding mattress sales will bring the price down, but they're not as generous as DreamCloud's. You'll usually get 25% off, which drops the price of a queen size to $999. It's worth keeping an eye on mattress sales from both brands, because if you buy at the right time you can get an even lower price. The cheapest we've seen the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid for recently is $599 for a queen, while Brooklyn Bedding occasionally ups its discount to 30%, which would reduce the price of the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid in a queen size to around $932. Both mattresses come with a lifetime warranty and free delivery, however the DreamCloud has a more generous sleep trial period: you'll get a whole year to decide whether it's right for you, while with the CopperFlex Pro you get a 120-night trial. DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress: was from $1,014 $399 at DreamCloudThe DreamCloud has made a big name for itself thanks to its luxurious feel at an affordable price. There's up to 60% off at DreamCloud right now, which means you'll pay $649 for a queen size. That's a good price but it's not the cheapest we've seen it, and if you pick your moment you may be able to get it for just $599. Expect a lifetime warranty, 365-night trial and free shipping, too. Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid Mattress: was from $932 $699 at Brooklyn BeddingThe CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is a new mattress from Brooklyn Bedding that combines a luxurious feel with advanced cooling. There's 25% off in the Brooklyn Bedding sale at the moment, dropping the price of a queen size to $999 — a fair price, but if you hold out for Brooklyn Bedding's occasional 30% discount you'll pay less. While you'll get the same limited lifetime warranty and free shipping, you'll only get a 100-night trial. Once you start looking closely at these mattresses, you'll realize just how similar they are. They're both hybrid mattresses featuring quilted covers, multiple layers of foam and layers of 8-inch encapsulated springs. The DreamCloud is ranked as most affordable in our best hybrid mattress guide, but you won't find the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid there; at least, not yet. So let's take a closer look at their makeup. There are six layers to the 12" DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, including the bottom cover. On top you'll find a quilted cover featuring cooling fibers and a stitched-in foam layer, and under that there's a contouring memory foam layer and an adaptive foam support layer. 8" of individually-wrapped coils deliver tailored support and reduce motion transfer, and a thin layer of dense foam beneath that keeps everything stable. Finally there's a protective bottom cover to hold it all together. The CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is similar, with some advanced cooling features. You get a Glaciotex cooling cover with 1.5" of quilt foam (making up a pillowtop) designed to relieve pressure, 2" of copper-infused memory foam, and 1" of transition foam sitting on top of a 0.75"-zoned lumbar support layer. Ascension X coils promise similar benefits to the DreamCloud's springs (motion isolation and edge support) and, yes, underneath that you'll find a layer of high density support foam, plus of course a protective bottom cover. In short: there's an extra layer to the CopperFlex Pro: the transition layer between the memory foam and the support foam. With the bottom cover, this gives it seven layers in total. Another thing both these mattresses have in common is that neither of them have handles on the edges, which can make it tricky to maneuver them. It's when you start looking at the comfort and support delivered by these mattresses that you'll start to get a feel for which option might be best for you. On paper they're pretty close: the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is rated a 6.5 medium-firm, while the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is rated a 7, so there shouldn't be that much difference, right? However, in our DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress review we found that in use, this mattress is a lot firmer than described; we think it's more of an 8, and we think that lighter side sleepers might struggle to settle into it at first, potentially benefitting from one of the best mattress toppers to soften things up a bit. It's worth noting that we reviewed an older, 14" model of the DreamCloud (and are in the process of reviewing the newer version), but we don't think the changes in the current model will make an enormous difference to the feel. Meanwhile, the back and stomach sleepers in our testing panel found that the DreamCloud delivered excellent pressure relief and support, keeping everything nicely aligned and alleviating lumbar discomfort. You'll note that we include the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid in our best mattress for back pain buying our Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid mattress review we found that it also performed well when it came to lumbar support, thanks to its zoned coil layer. We also found that its rating of 7 for firmness was pretty much on the money; there's slightly more of a sink-in feel to this mattress, in part thanks to the plush pillow-top, and it's one that's better suited to side sleepers and lightweight combination sleepers, who also switch between back and stomach sleeping. We felt it could also suit back sleepers, but heavier sleepers and stomach sleepers who prefer a firmer mattress may find that that the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is just a little too plush for their tastes. Both mattresses performed well in our standardized motion isolation tests where we drop a 10lb weight at set heights and distances from an empty wine glass on the mattress. For the CopperFlex Pro, the wine glass only moved when the weight was dropped from 12", while we saw slight movement on the DreamCloud Classic when the weight was dropped from both 8- and 12", but noted it was minimal. This indicates that these are both beds on which you're unlikely to be disturbed by a partner's nocturnal movements, making them great mattresses for couples. We also found that both mattresses did well in our edge support tests, and our reviewer found that while there was some sinkage of the weight we used for these tests (3.5") due to the pillowtop, she could comfortably sleep right up to the edges on the CopperFlex Pro. The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid saw less sinkage (about 1"), and lighter weight, smaller testers found the edge support sufficient, but our taller and heavier testers reported that that they considered it to be too weak for comfort. Perhaps the biggest difference between the DreamCloud and the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is in their cooling properties. In short: the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid has a much stronger case for inclusion in our best cooling mattress guide. That's partly down to its GlacioTex cover (the fibers of which have high thermal conductivity) which feels cool to the touch. It also helps that the CopperFlex Pro features a memory foam layer infused with copper particles that draw heat away from the surface and help to counteract the heat-trapping properties of memory foam. The DreamCloud, on the other hand, is short on specific cooling properties; its cover is made with cooling fibers, but that's about it. Both mattresses benefit from deep sprung layers that will do a good job of circulating air to keep temperatures down, and none of our reviewers reported problems with overheating. However our CopperFlex Pro Hybrid reviewer pointed out that she enjoyed a cool sleep experience even during a heatwave and after exercising. ✅ You're on a reduced budget: The DreamCloud's selling point has always been that it's a luxury mattress at an affordable price point, and it's considerably cheaper than the the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid. ✅ You're a back or stomach sleeper: Side sleepers – particularly lighter ones – may struggle to get comfortable on the DreamCloud. However if you generally sleep on your back and stomach you're going to get on very well with this mattress thanks to its outstanding support. ✅ You experience back or hip pain: The DreamCloud has a place on our best mattresses for back pain guide for good reason, it provides excellent back support and our testers who experience hip and back pain found it was reduced while sleeping on this mattress. ✅ You want a cooling mattress: The CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is designed to keep you from overheating, with a cool-to-the-touch cover and copper-infused memory foam, and it performs incredibly well when it comes to regulating temperature. ✅ You change position in the night: With a slightly softer feel than the DreamCloud, the CopperFlex Pro is suitable for all sleep positions, and because you don't sink deeply into it you won't have problems if you tend to switch position a lot as you sleep. ✅ You're looking for strong edge support: Even with the plush pillowtop, the CopperFlex Pro Hybrid still delivers great edge support. You'll be able to use the full surface of this mattress, and sleep right up to the edges.
