PATH to offer 50% fare reductions for riders with disabilities
NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — PATH riders with disabilities will be able to apply for 50 percent fare reductions for single one-way fares starting June 16.
Commuters can either apply in person or mail in an application.

PATH riders can either apply at a PATH station or at PATH's reduced fare application center on the Journal Square Transportation Center's mid-level concourse next to Duane Reader.
Applicants need to bring a valid government-issued identification and one of the following accepted forms of listed documentation:
SSI/SSDI award letter from the Social Security Administration,
A disabled veteran award letter that specifies a disability of 50 percent or higher,
A DMV-issued disabled placard receipt
A registry card from the rider's state commission for the blind or visually impaired
A Medicare card
A physician-signed disability certification
Application forms will be available on site.

Complete the form and have it notarized
Mail in the notarized document, a passport-sized color photo, a copy of a valid government-issued identification, and one accepted form of documentation of their eligible disability to the mailing address: PATH Reduced Fare Program, One PATH Plaza 1st Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey 07306
