Durga Ashtami falls every month on eighth day or Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Shravan. In this month Durga Ashtami is going to be observed on the first day of August i.e. , on August 1, 2025. Durga Ashtami is dedicated to honor the Goddess Durga devotees offer their prayers to Maa Durga on this sacred day and show their gratitude to the Goddess. On this sacred day, devotees offer their sincere prayers to Maa Durga and seek blessings. As per Hindu Scriptures, Maa Durga is the divine feminine energy and the mother of this universe. She is the power, creation, preserver and destroyer of the universe. Maa Durga is known as a Hindu warrior Goddess, who takes birth to defeat all the demons and to establish the righteousness in the universe. The ten armed Goddess possess all the divine super powers to protect her devotees from the evil energy and black magic.
