Thanks To Google, Harry Potter Fans Get First Look At HBO Series Set
Last Updated: Warner Bros. has built the entire Privet Drive for the upcoming Harry Potter series. In today's world, where technology has the power to connect every nook and corner of the world, nothing can be truly kept hidden for long, especially when it comes to something as popular as Harry Potter. With the new series in the making, fans have now found a surprise on the internet. They got a sneak peek at the filming location of the upcoming show, thanks to Google Earth. Google Earth Discovery A Reddit user shared a cool discovery on the subreddit dedicated to the upcoming HBO show. Using Google Earth's historical imagery feature, the fan was able to see the newly built Privet Drive set at the Warner Bros. studio in Leavesden, Watford. Privet Drive is going to play a crucial role in the show's early episodes as it is the exact place where Harry Potter grew up with the Dursleys before he headed to Hogwarts. In the original movies, the Dursley house was a real home in Surrey. This time, the makers took things a notch higher by developing an entire street just for the show. Harry Potter Series Is In Production Based on the books by JK Rowling, the upcoming television show is expected to premiere in 2027, with new seasons releasing through 2037. Just a few days back, the makers of the new series announced that production has begun. It comes nearly 24 years after the release of the first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Sharing a picture of young Harry with a clapboard on Instagram on July 14, HBO Max wrote, 'First years, step forward. The HBO Original Harry Potter series is now in production." Wildlife centre and school shut due to lack of water
A wildlife centre and a school have closed after a burst water pipe left them without a water supply. Severn Trent said a pipe had burst on the A38 in Dursley, Gloucestershire, on Tuesday afternoon, but had proved "a lot more complex than first anticipated" to fix. Both Slimbridge Primary School and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) near Slimbridge apologised for their closures. The water supply company said it would provide a further update at 10:00 BST. "Apologies for any convenience caused and thank you for your patience," a Severn Trent spokesperson added.
