Country singer Ella Langley cancels concerts with Morgan Wallen, here is why
Washington DC [US], August 13 (ANI): Singer-songwriter Ella Langley, who has been opening for Morgan Wallen on his I'm the Problem Tour, announced she was 'sad" to be canceling the rest of her August performances to focus on her health, reported E! News.'The past several weeks have been tough," Ella wrote in a statement shared to Instagram, adding, 'I've been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought, I've made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health–mind, body, and heart." She added, 'I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can't do that without first taking care of myself."The singer further informed her fans that she is 'ready to give you my all" when she returns to the stage in September.'Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down," Ella continued. 'I'm so grateful for your understanding and your love–it truly means the world to me," reported E! wasn't the first time the musician–who is nominated for the 2025 MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist alongside Alex Warren, Lola Young, The Marias, Gigi Perez and Sombr–has been vulnerable with her audiences. In fact, she celebrated with her fans and her co-writer Joybeth Taylor last month when her song 'Weren't for the Wind" hit No. 1 on country radio, reported E! News.'Theres no telling how many hours me and @joybethtaylor have put into having this moment together," Ella wrote in a July 6 Instagram post. 'Since that day on my back porch (the day we wrote our first song) we've dreamt about getting a #1 together. Sure, there have been many days that it seemed pretty much impossible, but we always believed."She added, 'Sitting a on plane flying back to Nashville with tears rolling out of my eyes thinking about how much we've talked about this moment and what it means to actually have it together. Jessie J hospitalised weeks after breast cancer surgery
Washington DC [US], August 4 (ANI): Singer-songwriter Jessie J shared health updates recently after recovering from a health batlle. Just six weeks after sharing that she underwent surgery to treat her "early breast cancer," the singer shared that she was back in the hospital, reported E! News. "How I spent the last 24 hours," Jessie wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a photo of an IV in her arm. "6 weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned." "I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung," she continued. "IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT THANK GOD." She shared that doctotrs have identified some infection. "They ran a lot of tests which ended up showing I have an infection still trying to figure out what and a little fluid on my lungs," she said, adding, "Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night I hate being in hospital and will continue the investigation as an outpatient," reported E! News. The 37-year-old's hospitalization came two months after she shared her initial breast cancer diagnosis on social media. And since then, she has been candid about how difficult the journey has been. "The recovery physically is far from quick or easy, and mentally it's been the most challenging time for me," she wrote in a separate post to her Instagram Stories. "Especially as a Mum with a toddler and being unable to be the mother I usually am." "Having to change the plans for my career for this year has been frustrating after working so hard to get to this point and excited to do it all," she continued. "But it's life, I know that. And don't get me wrong, getting the all clear is incredible. But that result didn't speed up or make the recovery from the surgery any easier physically." "I love moving and working and being up and active but I can't be right now, and that's what it is," she added. "I am finding the strength in knowing that all can be adjusted to align with a slower pace and the support of my very small inner circle." Jessie updated her fans about her cancer diagnosis."I was diagnosed with early breast cancer," she said in a June 3 Instagram video. "Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early.'"Jessie also added humor into her health update, as she continued, "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive tits and more music," reported E! News. "I do not talk about it enough," she shared. "I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. "I am home now," Jessie wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, "to rest and wait for my results." The 37-year-old--who shares son Sky Safir, 2, with boyfriend Channan Safir Colman--posted a carousel of pictures and videos of "the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours," which included her toddler laughing alongside her in a hospital bed. Her partner can be seen kissing her forehead and holding her hand as she awaited surgery. In one video, she explained her son the entire procedure that involves draining blood and fluid from her breasts, telling him in the clip, "So the water and the blood comes out of mommy's booby and comes out of the tube and into the bottle." "I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through," Jessie promised in her caption. "Grateful to my doctor/surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family/friends who came to visit," reported E! News.
