Kakatiya students bag State ranks in EAPCET
Nizamabad: In the EAPCET 2025 results released recently, Nizamabad Kakatiya students secured State ranks brining laurels to the institution. This includes Anas Ali at 1,766, M Sankeerth at 2,398, and G. Vedhakshar at 2,881 who emerged as the district toppers and the best district-level ranks. Details of other students who achieved state-level ranks incluce Bhavya Sree at 3,310, M Lokesh at 3,671, A Vaishnavi at 4,172, G Rishik at 5,932, and V Nikethan at 6,293. Directors, Principals Sandeep, Randheesh Sharma, Vice Principal Shyam, and Kakatiya staff congratulated the students.

Telangana EAPCET 2025 results announced; over 1.5 lakh candidates qualify in engineering stream
Hyderabad: As many as 151,779 candidates qualified in the engineering stream of the Telangana Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET 2025), the results of which were released on qualifying percentage in the engineering stream for this year is 73.26% — 1.72% less than last year. In 2023 and 2022, the qualifying percentage stood at 80.34% and 80.42%, respectively. This year, a total of 207,190 candidates appeared for EAPCET, which is conducted for admissions into engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses at the undergraduate of the top three ranks were secured by students from Andhra Pradesh. Palla Bharath Chandra from Parvathipuram Manyam secured first rank in the engineering stream with 150 marks, while Pammina Hema Sai Surya Karthik from Vizianagaram secured third rank. Udagandla Rama Charan Reddy from the city secured second rank with 148 the top ten, two are from AP, and the remaining eight candidates are from the Greater Hyderabad area. "My goal is to secure a seat in computer science engineering at IIT Bombay," said Bharath, who will be appearing for JEE Advanced on May 18 and AP EAPCET in the last week of missing out on the top ranks in the engineering stream, girl students put up a good show with 73.88% of them qualifying in the examination, compared to the boys' qualifying percentage of 72.79%.Students from social and tribal welfare institutes also performed well in the entrance exam, with many securing ranks below 10,000. "All 953 students from TGSWREIS who appeared for the engineering stream entrance qualified in the test. Notification from Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University soon
Congratulating students on their success in EAPCET 2025, Vice Chancellor of Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) Aldas Janaiah on Sunday said that the university will bring out its notification soon. 'In addition to increasing regular and special quota seats in PJTAU, the fee is also reduced. Soon there will be new colleges. Admission and entrance procedures, including for NRI quotas, will be issued this week,' he stated. Mr. Janaiah advised students and parents to exercise caution while choosing a college. He noted that certain colleges, despite Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) recognition, have been issuing notifications for admissions to courses. He clarified that only PJTAU has the ICAR recognition to offer Agriculture courses in Telangana. On the opportunities to pursue agricultural education through the university, he informed that PJTAU and Western Sydney University, who had been partners for several years now, together will also launch a four-year degree course soon. This unique course will allow exchange of students to offer varied exposure, here in Telangana and in Sydney, Australia. The partnership would also emphasise future courses in Masters and doctoral-level studies. An agreement on this development between the universities is in the final stage, Mr. Janaiah informed.

AP EAPCET 2025 registration deadline today without late fee; check details here
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will soon close the registration window for the Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test 2025 (EAPCET 2025). Eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website without late fee till April 24, 2025. The last date for submission of applications with late fee of Rs 1000 and Rs 2000 is May 1 and 7, respectively. The correction window will open from May 6 to 8, 2025. The exam will be conduced on May 19 and 20, 2025. The hall tickets will be released on May 12, 2025.
