Van driver dies after A47 truck crash in East Winch
A man in his 30s has died after a crash between a van and a services were called to the A47 in East Winch, Norfolk, at 13:50 BST on Wednesday after the white Vauxhall Movano van and orange DAF truck driver of the van was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Police this morning confirmed the man had died and it renewed appeals for witnesses to come forward. The single carriageway section of the A47 was closed for more than 14 hours - until 04:30 the next day - as emergency repairs were carried followed another serious crash in the same area earlier in the month which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries. A47 closed at East Winch after lorry and van collision
Police have closed off a major road after a serious Police closed the A47 Lynn Road in both directions at East Winch between the A10 Hardwick Roundabout and the A1122 at about 14:10 (BST) on collision involved a lorry and a van, according to the travel analytics company, Highways said investigation work was ongoing and the road was expected to remain closed for some time. A47 closed at East Winch in both directions by serious crash
A major road is expected to remain closed for some time after a two-vehicle services were called to the A47 in East Winch, Norfolk, just before 08:00 single carriageway stretch of the road has been closed in both directions, causing major congestion between King's Lynn and Swaffham.A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service crew used hydraulic equipment to release people from the vehicles involved.
