Kavitha, Raja Singh comments prove BRS, BJP secret partners: TPCC chief
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday said the allegations of BRS MLC K Kavitha and later by BJP senior MLA T Raja Singh on BJP-BRS merger efforts vindicated the Congress' stand that BRS and BJP are secret partners, and the pink party helped the BJP in the Lok Sabha and MLC elections. Mahesh Goud also demanded that Union minister G Kishan Reddy reply to allegations made by Raja Singh that some leaders in the saffron party were ready to support BRS-BJP merger in return for a "big package". Alleging that former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has revived ties with former BRS miniter Eatala Rajender, now a BJP MP, in the backdrop of notices in the Kaleshwaram irrigation probe, the TPCC chief said: "It is learnt that BRS MLA and former irrigation minister T Harish Rao met Rajender at a farmhouse, following which KCR spoke to Eatala over phone." He accused Eatala of working for the BRS while being in BJP and asked him to make his stand clear if that was not the case. The TPCC president said that even if the BRS and BJP merged, there would be no impact on the Congress. "The BRS already scored a zero in Lok Sabha elections and the BJP tally of 8 MPs will remain the same even if there was a merger. The Congress is enjoying the confidence of the people due to its welfare schemes," he said.

Cong hits back at Eatala for speaking ill of Revanth
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud strongly condemned the statements of MP Eatala Rajender against CM Revanth Reddy. He described the former Finance Minister's assertions as nothing but venting of his frustration over his failure to get the BJP State president's post. Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress leader reminded Eatala of his alleged involvement in the land grabbing cases and held that he has no moral right to speak against the CM who remained focused on Telangana's development. He warned that Congress workers will not remain silent if Eatala continues to make irrational comments against Revanth Reddy. He said that it does not befit a leader like Eatala to speak evil against a fellow politician holding the rank of a CM. 'The way Eatala spoke would put to shame civil society. Is he not the one who was responsible for pushing the prosperous State of Telangana into bankruptcy, by becoming part of the KCR's machinations like Alibaba and his forty thieves,' he said, describing Eatala as one of the forty thieves who supported KCR during his tenure. Over Eatala's statements on HYDRA, Mahesh Goud reminded that there was a case of land grabbing against him for his alleged involvement in encroachment of Endowments lands. The TPCC president said that despite the global economic crisis, Congress was overcoming the situation and implementing all the schemes. He wondered how easy it was to spread poisonous propaganda against the government, when the State was moving forward on the path of development and going ahead with progress. 'BJP leaders are obstructing the development of Telangana at every step, with the sole aim of dominating the political scene. The BJP's BC leaders are adopting a partisan attitude towards the BC Bill, which is incomprehensible,' he said.

Eatala's outburst against CM a carefully scripted show, says Cong
Hyderabad: The Congress on Sunday came down heavily on BJP MP Eatala Rajender, calling his remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy 'foul, desperate, and dripping with political frustration'. The party accused Eatala of using abusive language to grab attention from the BJP leadership in hopes of landing the post of State BJP President. Party senior leader Mujahid Alam Khan in a strongly worded statement said, 'Eatala's rant has nothing to do with the welfare of Telangana or its people. It's just a performance – the outburst of a politician trying to stay in the game. Let's not forget, this is the same Eatala who once stood firmly beside KCR, backing every policy and brushing off every failure of the BRS government. Now, he's suddenly recast himself as a BJP firebrand, slinging insults at Revanth Reddy just to impress his party bosses.' Mujahid's response followed Eatala's recent press conference, where the BJP leader referred to the Chief Minister as a 'psycho' and 'sadist,' and likened the Congress-led government to a 'Tughlaq regime.' Pointing fingers at Eatala's moral authority, Mujahid said, 'This is the man who, as Finance Minister for five years under KCR, helped drive Telangana from a revenue-surplus state into Rs 7 lakh crore in debt. If anyone laid the foundation for our economic troubles, it's him.'

Jagga warns Eatala over remarks against chief minister
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress working president T Jagga Reddy on Sunday warned BJP MP Eatala Rajender to refrain from using unparliamentary language against chief minister A Revanth Reddy ."Do not test the patience of Congress cadres. You have every right to criticise the chief minister or govt policies, but it should be done in a civilised manner," Jagga Reddy said. "We can use more abusive words than you, but we are restraining ourselves," he further Congress leader questioned whether the BJP MP had ever met the chief minister seeking solutions to the problems, if any, in his Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency."It looks like Eatala is speaking out of frustration because his attempts to secure the BJP state president post have not yielded results so far. Don't be under the impression that you will be rewarded with a post — either as the BJP state president or union minister — by abusing CM Revanth. The Congress cadres will not tolerate your derogatory language against Revanth," he TPCC working president also said Eatala never used to indulge in caste politics in the past but has been doing it of late, probably to seek the attention of BJP bosses at the Centre.
