Chennai: IIT Madras's teaching learning centre (TLC) is launching a training programme on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for college faculty who are teaching UG and PG science courses. The training will be conducted over a period of nine days, with each batch comprising 50 participants. Faculty members teaching physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biotechnology are eligible to apply. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will conduct a national-level training programme for college faculty teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biotechnology. Chennai, Aug 11 (UNI) Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) today announced launch of a training program on STEM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and Biotechnology for college faculty across the country. It will focus on faculty development, covering fundamental and advanced topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology besides practical lab sessions and exposure to frontier research. Organised under Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), this in-person, residential Capacity Building Program is provided free of cost for faculty engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate science courses. IIT Madras TLC has partnered with BodhBridge Education for this initiative, which is targeted towards college faculty across India. The training will be conducted over a period of nine days, with each batch comprising 50 participants. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email.
