Love Island Uk's Ekin-Su CülcüloğLu and Curtis Pritchard Split
After meeting in the Love Island All Stars villa in January, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard have broken up, announcing the news on Instagram on May 28. Sharing a statement with her followers, Ekin-Su wrote, 'I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. It's been really a tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another. 'He's an incredible person and I'll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa. Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months. We're both focussing on navigating the transition and would really appreciate privacy during this time. Love always, Ekin-Su xx' Then, hours later Curtis took to Instagram Stories to share a statement of his own which read, 'Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all the kind messages, it really does mean the world. It's true, Ekin and I have decided to go our separate ways. Break ups are never easy, but I'll always be grateful for the laughs, the adventures, and the memories (especially the dance routines.) 'I'll be keeping busy with work, boxing, dancing and working with the team on FINT. Lots of love, Curtis x' Ekin-Su was originally in the eighth series of Love Island in 2022, which she won alongside Davide Sanclimenti (the couple split up in June 2023, got back together, and then split up for good in January 2024). Since then, she's appeared in shows like Dancing On Ice, The Wheel, The Traitors US and Celebrity Big Brother. Curtis Pritchard is a dancer and choreographer who is known for working on the Irish version of Dancing With the Stars. He appeared on the fifth season of Love Island in 2019, where he coupled with Maura Higgins. When Curtis entered the All Stars villa, the public placed him with Kaz Crossley. However, Ekin-Su then entered as a bombshell, and it was clear she had chemistry with Curtis. The pair quickly coupled up, facing challenges wihen bombshell Danielle Sellers entered the villa and Curtis was tempted to explore the potential connection. Despite this, they stayed together, made it to the live final and placed third in the second season of All Stars. Now, three months later, they have confirmed their split. And now, after weeks of concern, Ekin-Su confirmed they're now single as she shared the 'tough decision' behind their split in a statement. Ekin-Su said they had decided to "go [their] separate ways" and that it had been a "tough decision". Her statement read: "I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. It's been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another. "He's an incredible person and I'll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa. Love always, Ekin-Su xX." Although Ekin-Su didn't give a straightforward reason for their split, she had been the centre of drama between Curtis and MAFS star Georges Berthonneau in recent weeks. The Married At First Sight star previously alleged he was in a relationship with the brunette beauty while she was dating Curtis. Speaking on Fubar Radio, Georges claimed: "On the day before my birthday, she was out with him that night, and they'd had an argument. "She was messaging me whilst he was asleep in bed with her being like, I need to see you. Blah, blah, blah, like, I've got the receipts on my phone." He added: "Everyone was like 'why are you saying it now?', because I loved the girl and I didn't want to let go of it. And my biggest thing was, why should I keep protecting someone who can't even apologise or take accountability." He continued: "I even said to her on the phone, I was like 'are you not going to apologise?' You had sex with another man whilst I was at home. And you're not even going to apologise." Curtis later broke his silence and told The Sun: "Hey, if he wants to get in the ring with me, tell him to call me out and let's get in the ring. I've just been focusing on the camp. I haven't read anything or done anything, truthfully. And that's all that matters to me. I'm focusing on the camp, I'm focusing on having fun with Ekin and that's all that matters to me."
