Regardless, it's a kind gesture from the up-and-coming teenage golfer who saw his AJGA ranking jump from No. 606 to No. 14 after his TaylorMade win. It's been an eventful year for the Woods family after Tiger went public with his relationship with Vanessa Trump. That announcement came 10 days after exclusively broke the news that the golf icon was dating Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife. Alongside two pictures of the loved-up couple, Woods wrote: 'Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. 'At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.' The couple have the blessing of the President, with Trump himself saying he was happy when he learned that they had become an item. 'He told me about it, and I said, 'Tiger, that's good, that's good. I'm very, happy for both.' But they just let them both be happy. Let them both be happy. They're both great,' Trump said. 'I love Tiger and I love Vanessa. He and I have a very special, very good relationship with Tiger. I played golf with him a couple of times over the last month, and he's a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete.'
